You, sir, are philosopher of note! You should start an obscure religion or something, sounds like eastern zen vibes haha

Good to see Lou still out there. Any new grow plans or treading lightly for the moment?

G`day MildeStoner

A month in Thailand will do it to you . ha ha .
I heard a long time ago from a Tibetan Buddhist Monk we are the directors of our own movie . Every day we get to choose how we act in our own little production . And who gets to be a co star or walk on part .
The time in Thailand only reinforced the idea of impermanence . To see Bangkok traffic 1st hand is to realize that we should not be afraid to die . As we just are energy, to be returned to the eternal system . lol .

When I saw this plant growing I knew that it was something special, something I hadnt seen since the 70's up there in Thailand....you dont think I was a happy bloke.
Wait till you see what happens when I cross this to my Sativa's, going to be like Jack and the Bean stalk
High praise from one such as yourself. Always enjoy reading your posts, expertise and humility hand-in-hand, the photos of your sativa monsters are the reason I keep coming back to this thread. Thank you! :D

Roms: That red thai from RSC?

Blan-k-flor: Very nice.. is this something you made yourself? I'm guessing the ethiopian is from Afican Seeds stock and the Zamal from Gypsy

I'm looking at leaf structure, not just plant height, some look broad and squat, maybe mine eyes deceive me.

Let's drop this and move on, this is a lovely thread let's not ruin it!!!

Here is the results of hitting a local African up with BC bud indica mix male back in 09, sativa pheno, grown with biobizz and organic compost:

Yeah definetly different Thais, these are from a private stock that has been in 2 families for generations and grown in the fertile area of Phitsanulok. Never released as commercial stock, but kept as kg for people who were lucky enough to know the source.
How amazing, that is @@@@@@ ******, a place abuzz with **** about *** ******* ****-**** *****!

Nobody in @@ family grows the good ganja though :-(

But, @@ Shokdee is giving it a go ;-)

really glad you got a good camera now man,
buds are looking real nice,
not much leaf ,
and certainly a resemblance to some of the haze hybrids i grew in the bud structure that shows in the second pic ...
the mm must be abundant with pistillates??

The MM produces a denser and chunkier flower than Nev's Haze, as does the 78 Thai despite the zero indica content....78 Thai x MM...

Nice pics Kanga, Bushweed. So how would you compare the Gypsy Thai Stick with the 78Thai?

To answer your question the 78' Thai is a lowland variety and has been worked about 10 generations since found in thai sticks in 78, and this may explain why it's more tame than the GN Thai stick, in as much as the 78' flowers earlier, faster and produces larger heads than the GN Thai. The GN Thai is highland I believe and has much narrower leaves and grows huge and in every direction. The smell for the 78'Thai is sweet tropical fruit in veg, but earthy, woodsy when smoked. The GN Thai is sweet piney fuel. I have now smoked the 78' and it is very clear, uplifting and high. I recently blew a racehorse between five people - one of whom is a 58 y.o Californian - next time I saw him he said, "man what was that smoke? I didn't sleep for two days!"

The first time i smoked cannabis was thai sticks , or also thaid sticks they were called ,, they were referred to as buddah sticks later , and simply buddah ,,

i also spoke to thai people that said they never called the "guncha" buddah ,, it would be a bit insulting ,
id be pretty sure as namkha says it would be a farang term ...

You can't expect an ignorant farang to talk Siamese can you Don? TBH the reason I got excited was because that first sun drenched shot above reminded me of the structure on those 84' MM pics of Kanga's, like the one he has as an avatar.

Yeah mate, a farang with a new camera, it hasn't done much to improve composition, but u can zoom in and show off a few trichomes and honeycombs lol...

Very perceptive Don, that second pic was Hz/MM I think....and yeah the MM does appear abundant with pistils, it certainly produces a denser and chunkier flower than Nev's Haze, as does the 78 Thai despite the zero indica content....here's the 78 Thai x MM...

Bushy,

That is beautiful! I'm on almost the exact opposite side of the planet from that bud, and it's killing me.

Nice work!

:tiphat:

May it go full term. Then please smoke lots for me, and share a long detailed dissertation on the effects of the smoke with us.

Wishing a Happy Harvest,

ThaiBliss
