what yall think, them's're definitely males, right? they are still in veg, getting large now, like 20 + inches tall multiple tops from being topped at the 3rd or 4th node from seed....
i have 10 flo x ogk plants from seed, looks like i found 5 males, one will be selected for pollen chucking.

smell:
so fruity & sweet, smells kinda wine-y on breaking up the buds, a hint of rose & vanilla perhaps, but very floral and fruity, "berry" smells all over if i. just a hint of the thick earthy background in the Flo mother.
flavor of smoke:
very berry not true to a real berry, just a "berry-like" flav, kinda like the fake candy strawberry flavoring, or the strawberry flavoring that is in strawberry ice cream. also a tad wine flavored in the smoke as well. lingering flavor in the mouth long after smoke is exhaled, just like her mama the Flo.

yes the "pink" pheno of flo x grimm is what i was calling "strawberry ice cream", now that ive grown out several cuts from the mama im seeing more traits....

fixin to cull my males, want to keep one tho..... to bx w the pink pheno and do another cross by the new (same generation as the father) flo x grims perhaps.
maybe get around to droppin flo x grimm pollen on a few other females also.

how is the smell? can you tell what the #32 male added to the cross?
flo x grimm, "pink" still my keeper after 2 rounds of seed cracking, 3rd batch just started flowering....
just flipped round 3 of seeds from the flo cross batches, still have my "pink" and phenos of the flo x grim "white"keeper of the flo x ogk, alth they both are very flo leaning and almost identical to be honest, but that's from myselection leaning toward WANTING the flo traits.
the flo x ogk white perhaps stretches more, has less sweet fruitiness kinda sour fruit a lil more, and more grapey similar to flo mom (without earthy floral tones as much), wheras pink flo x ogk is more strawberry than grape, no sour at all to it, smells alot like strawberry ice cream.

These are some really awesome strains you've got here brother
I'm looking really forward to seeing more of these. I love Flo and so far it looks like anything crossed with her is a winner.
Any plans to put beans out there? God knows I'd kill to have a few for my garden and I'm sure lots of others would too

those are male parts of blue heron from dynasty seeds, im makinga BX of them and crossing my pink flo x blu heron, also probably do a chunky D x blue heron also.

These crosses spark my interest. I remember Flo being one of my fave morning time smokes. Nothing like a bowl of Flo when the birds are chirping. Her high is very unique to me. It isn't weak by any means, but she is light on the head. I can smoke her and not look high. If that makes sense.
It's ultra cool you chose Flo to work with. I believe your purple comes from way back in DJs lines to the very beginning with OPT. I could be wrong though.

right now i am harvesting a bunch of "pink" pheno & "white" pheno of flo x grimm side by side with some flo plants. The 2 keeper phenos (pink & white) are super similar in structure & smell, perhaps the pink is a lil more fragrant, and white a lil less stretchy between nodes but very similar. in hindsight i should have chosen 2 keepers that were very different rather than similar, giving me options down the road.
both pink & white are pretty leafy, not particularly easy or quick to trim, similar to my Flo mama used in the cross.
the buds are more pointy topped than the flo mother,
also both these crosses lack some of the bud density that the Flo mother is great for; thus my 2 keeper pheno's flo crosses lack the high yields that Flo mama was great for. don't get me wrong yields are still alright, but plant for plant I can tell the flo buds are denser & larger across the board.

plenty of time for the flo

been lurking in your threads, you have some interesting projects going atm.. hows the twisted towers coming a long?.. if you can post up some pix of the pink n white phenos of your flo x grimm you just harvested.. I hear so much about the mythical famed Flo.. her offspring/crosees should b nice 2.
