Thanks CC! I think it's a he though.... :( I'll know for sure tomorrow.

On another note.

Pretty interesting how this all crosses over into our personal lives.

While reading about barley I've read several times that the roman used to use sprouted barley with honey and colustrum for babies when the mom died. Athletes would also eat sprouted barley.

So this round I'm making extra and trying a recipe I found below but adding some honey.

I actually just made barley oatmeal today! I sprouted the barley first. Then this morning, I threw the sprouted barley (about a cup) in my Blendtec along with a whole banana, one date (pitted), some water, rice milk (not raw so you may either want to use all water or homemade nut milk for a creamy texture) and cinnamon. Blend that all together until you get the consistency you want, adding whatever liquid you choose along the way. It came out nice and thick with the perfect amount of chunkiness!!

Plants are loving it.... I notice all the same enzymes in my digestive enzyme supplements so I might as well start treating myself!

Also, I'm Thinking about getting this so I can drink more and feed it to my plants more.

I figure 5 Pounds is about 206 Gallons or more.

That's about .63 tablespoon serving.

Seems pretty legit.

I have some very good digestion capsules and recently decided to uncap 2 of them and dump the contents into my water bucket.

I was reading the ingredients....

Plant Enzyme Blend:

Amylase
Protease
pepsin
Lipase
lactase
invertase
cellulase

Noni Fruit and Seed

Fulvic Humic and acetic Acids

I thought, well damn, that looks like barley and fulpower.

The plants loved it.... it's not cost effective, but interesting none the less.

I'm very excited about a few of my girls and I'm also starting to get anxious to build my grow room and get out of the tents.

Outdoor starting this week.... so much to look forward to.

Success!!!!

100 Gallon Smart Pot $25.00 Free Shipping online
Filled it with free compost and peat moss with Juicer scraps, and things I had around....
Kelp Meal, Neem Meal, Gypsum Dust, Alfalfa meal, Bokashi, and some chicken poop.

I watered it once in the beginning and a couple times through over the last 4 months or so.... Now when I dig in there are just earth worms and castings to be seen, along with a million other cool living things.

I just took a couple scoops out for now, I'll separate the worms later, first adding juicer scraps and bokashi to the top to get as many worms out as I can and into a new 100 gallon container. Not looking forward to separating all these worms, but maybe I'll call some friends over to help.

So, Now, I present before you my very first worm castings. Tonight I brew a tea.

Big Ol Tird Ball clumps haha

Time for a break sir.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. --

So I tossed some aged composted OMRI certified Chicken Shit Fertilizer Pellet thingys in my soil during my last transplant and the growth has been very very healthy. Things are popping off a little faster than I'm used to and no signs of slowing.

Edit: The veg photos on this current page also have chicken poo pellets in them.

Week 2.5

Forgive the HPS glow, tried to color correct it.... but trust me, they have a healthy hue of green going on.
