Hello fratello, the all idea is to recycle the mix from now on. I have already been recycling my veg soil and is working well. This run i have to dial in the watering of the new sub , lots of water retention with the coco in the mix, i will try to find a water quantity i can give every day/second day , and stop thinking soil , my biggest concern.

That said i have switched to only 6400K lamps, looks like they are running cooler than the one @ 2500k, keep you updated about it.

Peace S

Couple things.

1. Recycling is easy with biobizz, just make sure your plants are well flushed by the end of the flower (true when recycling any media)

2. I know it says all over this website/elsewhere not to treat coco like soil, but this is just a perfect example of that quote in your sig ;). The only time you should keep coco saturated/wet all the time (as is often mentioned) is when treating it as a hydro media, doing drain to waste or a flood/drain methods. Being you are mixing coco with compost/soil you should continue to treat it like soil, allowing a drier period between watering. The idea/benefit of adding coco to your mix is to increase the air capacity in your media allowing for more vigorous root growth, which in turns creates bigger buds . You may or may not need to water more often, or more in quantity. Just monitor your plants and water as necessary.

Curious to see how your lighting experiments effect things. Keep me posted :tiphat: . I'm very happy with adding CMH to HPS thus far.

The reason i put the question out here is because i hope you keep a eye on me fratello. Lust run, with only 30% coco , i found that i had a dry sub most of the time, i know we discussed the importance of wet/dry cicles, and i have noticed that the coco suck huge ammount of water, i just need a few runs to dial the watering, but i always feel the weight of the container before watering anyway.
Now that i will be using the same sub for few runs, it will be easyer to dial the waterings i guess.

i will be documenting my findings as usual, keep you updated on the ligths, looking forward for your updates of the room with the cmh bulbs as usual.

That said, i will be away a week at least from the 16th, and i have made some preparations to leave the girls unattended.

As i mentioned before, i have trasplanted the girls deeper than usual, just lollypopped

picture.php

filled with fresh sub all the way up

placed the lower net in place

I'm always poking my head in here bro, I love your little cab and, it's always nice to see how you are progressing as a grower. You don't need it often anymore, but i'm always just a pm away if you want some help . I still remember a year or two back when you were just asking for advice on how to get started on this strange journey. I'll try and get an update on my thread in the next couple days. I have some pics, just need to upload them, and find time to type up some replies. Could have done that instead of surfing icmag for the last hour, but hey i'm just as addicted to other peoples grows as they are to mine.

CMH's are kicking fucking ass BTW. Still won't say I fully recommend them, but I did just order 4 more

Looking good brother  I hope you find something nice in those cannabiogen seeds, especially the destroyer ;). I didn't find the pheno I was looking for in mine, but I've certainly been enjoying the smoke none the less  Plan to crack the rest of my seeds once I get done with this latest project.

Plants are looking great!

Why is there the open gap on side side of the cage? I'm curious why you didn't just make it completely connected?

Probably so he can pull it in and out without worry about navigating around the light - because of how far down it hangs.
