Thirdcoast looks like ya did a number hanging that mini split hahah it aint going anywhere

Yeah, earthquake proof hehe. Didn't like the way it hung so fuck it, overkill is under rated ya know?

LED, looking good man, doesn't look like any holes in that canopy.

I haven't started a grow thread yet, just dumping pics in my build thread every so often. This run is just kind of a fuck around run to work out the kinks in the room and get environment dialed in.

It's a good thing too cause I had some off gassing issues with the building materials.

The plan is to throw two 4x8 trays in there coco DTW.

While I know the multiple feed works good, thats how I've been growing in my old room, I'm gonna try Adrift's technique with a bigger pot watering every other day letting the top of the coco dry out. He gets sick results.

Like I said though, both ways work good, just a personal preference I suppose. We'll see if I like it.

Keep it green LED!

"in coco" Doh! Thanks bro. I am soil only, so far, but have worked
with peat and coco via mycology for years.

I think that an alternative to the clay-ball layer is to use diatomaceous earth.
This has the same effect, of a non-nutritional layer that dries on the surface quickly,
and it has the side effect of pissing off all manner of creepy crawly.

BTW: That is some nice green growth. I wonder if that little bit of twisting is just genetic?

Take care,

JD

Hey bro it looks like you could raise that trellis an inch or two then start weaving them suckers. You will get twice as many tops. There gonna stretch some

And get your ppm up to 850 .5 scale and they go nuts. If your already there bump em to 900 no higher

I have done a bit of weaving. I'm scared if I weave much more I won't get enough stretch and there fore won't get big colas's??? I definitely should have started weaving a good week earlier!! From what I've read kush plants don't like to stretch much...? I know the PK I grew last round just wanted to bush out, very little vertical height. Could also been attributed to the issues I had as well!

I've been feeding them a constant 1.6 EC..... I'll check to see what that is on the .5 scale.

Started double dosing fascillitor this week. Hitting them 3 times a week for the first 3 weeks of flower. Also picked up a bottle today of canna boost. Will foliar feed with that once a week.

Things are looking good LED.

I agree not sure if u should weave anymore, but you'll find out.
Once you have a couple grows through your system it will be sweet.
Always seems to be something trying to hold you back from getting where you want it fast enough...but your on the right pace.

1.6 EC is 800 ppm .5 so try ramping your nutes up to 1.7 then maybe next week 1.8 theyll darken up and take off. They look like they want just a tad more.

I only feed my aptus once a week. I doubled up the dose on the fasilator first 3 weeks and the plants stacked really well, way more than Ive seen in coco before. Final product will tell the truth.
Im not really sure you need to give it 3 times a week. Save your money and try it once a week my results are stellar so far and Ive been growing this strain for about 6 years so I know the difference without the aptus

Thanks big green. Since I'm not going to do anymore weaving and I don't know if this kush will stretch much I've decided to double dose fascilitor twice a week for 3 weeks. Save me some money but it should still help reduce any extra stretch....

Since I've only been feeding once a day. Do you think I should still increase my nutes now that I will be feeding my plants 3 times a day?? Or will the extra feeding be all that's necessary?

You bet. Going to get up early tomorrow and set up drip system before lights turn off at 9am. Then head out and do the Mother's Day thing.

Will monitor how they look over the next week and take some pics so you can see as well. Thanks for the help!!

I bet yours are really exploding since your last update huh? What do you have left, like 3 weeks? How long do you plan on flushing for?

Nice canopy! So many little plants!
I have a canon power shot elph300hs.... Thanks bud!! :thank you:
Looks like you're going to want to press the FUNC/SET button, then up/down to "AWB" for Adjust White Balance, I'm guessing. Press the FUNC/SET button again. Select the one that looks like a bow-tie with a box above it, should be the bottom option. Then point the camera at either your wall - def try that first, it just didn't work for me - or a piece of printer paper, and when its filled with the plain target, press MENU. The tint on the screen should change, and you'll be good to go. You will want to change the WB back to Auto when you're done for the day or go into veg, so press the FUNC/SET button again and good to go!

I am guessing once you set a custom, you don't need to re-set it every time. Once you go back into the custom WB, I would suggest shooting something, and then reviewing the picture to make sure it looks correct. My cam has multiple customs, so I use one for veg and one for flower, and shooting all the pics in flower with veg WB settings is a PITA! So for this reason, I recommend ensuring your custom is indeed loaded correctly, if stored in memory.
Ya what the hell Romulus!?!?! Your worse than I am!!!! Update your shit already!!!! You get rid of your fungus gnats yet? You try the bio shark like I suggested?

You know I had a big fungus gnat problem last grow, an that was in the winter time!!! Now it's summer time, I'm using a medium that's always wet, and knock on wood, zero fungus gnats so far!!! I really think the combo of OG Biowar Tea and Bio Shark are what's making this happen for me.
See reply here!!

Awesome!!! Thanks bud. Will give that a try next time:thank you:

Went to bed last night at around 1:30am. Fuck me, woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep!!!:wallbash: so fuck it, got up and went to finish off my drip system. Lucky I woke up early as it took me 2.5 hours to finish everything off! I originally was only going to give myself an hour before having to leave and go to mothers day brunch. Guess everything happens for a reason

Tonight when lights turn on I will fire up the pump and see just how long it takes to get run off. Thinking around the 7-9 min range on the first drip of the day. Once I figure out how long it takes I can then setup my digital timer that will turn my pumps on/off and then I'm good to go:plant grow:

Wow, that Fasilitor is expensive.

Too bad, as my OGs could use tighter node spacing...

Good to know!

From really small rooted clones they are about a month old. But they were stunted for a good 7-10 days from the heavy chems I treated them with when I got them. So realistically what you see there is a good 3 weeks of veg. Think I could have got even faster growth if I had setup my drip system from the get go and got plants on multiple feeds. Also if I had got trellis up a week to 10 days earlier I would have had a more even canopy and even more tops. Next round will be better

Very cool Doc. Let me know when u get a thread going.

So just washed my clone trays in preparation for cloning tomorrow. Was going to try cloning in coco since that's what I'm growing in now. But then got to thinking. I should probably stick with the way the doc showed me to clone since on my very first try I got 100% success!! I know there are allot of peeps that struggle to get roots so I think I better stick with the method that for sure worked!!!

Will snag some pics of the new borns once I'm done. In a hour and a half I will be taking the drip system on its maiden voyage. Very pumped!!!!

Well. Another long ass day in the books!! Did a ton of running around today. Came home and had dinner. After that went and feed the plants some tea. Then finally had the chance to take my clones for the next round. Feels good to finally get that over with.... good weekend all in all. Drip system up and running and clones taken.

Thinking end of the week or beginning of next I will get down and dirty clean up all the undergrowth and get all the energy focused up top. Let the fun begin

I'll snag some pics of the ladies and kids in the next day or so :dance013:

With your drip system how is it set up? What kind of timer, length of time, type of drippers, and is it working as planned? I ask because I found 15 min (min setting on a cheap timer) is too long. I manually flip the switch until I get runoff. I also have a wand and a pump I stick in a bucket to give em the tea and other stuff that I don't want clogging the drippers.
