motaco WHERE YA AT GOOD BUDDY,im RIGHT HERE NOW!

motaco WHERE YA AT GOOD BUDDY,im RIGHT HERE NOW!

See this is why I apologized. To me that is not an offensive thing to say. I argue not in a mean spirited way but in a "one sword sharpens the other" kind of way. I'm not calling you names or threatening you. I am just disagreeing with you about the origins of haze. And for the record it is not me disliking your posts. I don't know who is doing that or why. I enjoy talking with you and I hope you aren't mad at me.

But yes I do stand by what I said. I think you are being blinded by wishful thinking about haze. You think New York Haze is a descendant of Haze Bros Haze? That there is one specific variety of NYC haze that is the true nyc haze and it is been in new york for 30 or more years. Its commercially available but you don't know who grows it? Do you have any back story at all to add credibility to this claim? Because to me it is blatant wishful thinking and is why talking about frankies with New Yorkers is often frustrating. It seems it is always a similar argument.

I'm not claiming to know the genetics of the strain, I'm just saying I know where about 95% of "Ny Haze" is coming from and it isn't NY. I have newspaper articles, police reports, and other factual data to support what I am saying. I don't have concrete evidence but it isn't just pure conjecture.

No I'm not contradicting myself. I said large scale runs increased during mid '00s after some large scale busts of rival weed dealers. I said they increased. Not came out of nowhere. The runs might have went from moving 50 pounds a month to several runners moving 50 pounds a week. And the quality slipped as more novice immigrants were learning to grow weed. There was probably cuban haze being run into new york since the 80s but definitely since the 90s. Because the amount increased and the quality slipped doesn't do anything at all to further your point that it is actually from NY.

And I do think you are kidding yourself about how much weed is being grown locally.

This is a former member here's grow. That is not even the full yard but the full yard is roughly a 50 lb grow. That guy my friend knew was moving that every week. Just one guy. That means it would take 56 grows the size of the one pictured above just to support what he was moving for a year. And he was not the back bone of the operation. Just one guy. There could be half a dozen like him. A dozen. I have no idea.

I understand that NY has grow op busts occasionally. But unless I see real police reports and stuff about MASSIVE scale grow op busts involving organized crime and linked grows it will be hard to convince me NY haze isn't just cuban haze.

A couple of 30k watt warehouse grows does not equal the "weight" involved to take care of what is going on in NY. Nowhere near it. My point was who is calling what "NY haze". It is all pure conjecture from people buying personal amounts on the street level. There probably is some haze being grown in NY (though I doubt highly that it is descended directly from a 30 year old plant from haze bros beans), I do think by far the vast majority of what New Yorkers are buying, smoking, and calling "NY haze" is cuban haze 9 out of 10 times. (in my personal opinion of course)

But I'm sorry you were offended. I hope we can still be friends. This is part of what we do here and why I designed the thread. We argue, debate, and discuss topics get to the bottom of issues for the benefit of valuable information for everyone. Its not meant to get anyone upset so I apologize. But I do feel like we both made out points and stated out opinions pretty clearly and are beating a dead horse at this point. It doesn't matter if we disagree. We are both entitled to our opinions.

Peace:tiphat:
