I never had an issue with the worm soil factory, I have bought over 500 yards from them and always end up with a little extra left over. Dave and Larry are good honest people.

anyways, good info CC.....always gotta watch out for sneaks in this business! thats why its good to go with reputable company that other growers have used...
Thanks Props...Over the years, the 215 bulk soil thing has become a bone of contention with me. Maybe its the principle. The principal being that most all of the landscape companies, garden centers and even some local excavation companies who have jumped on the '215 soil sells!", can furnish little more information about their custom mix other than: "Its the best 215 mix ever!..." My biggest gripe is they stay as far away from the Pro 215 legal debate as they can but dont hesitate to giggle all the way to the bank.
I know of at least 3 landscape/garden centers, including 2 excavation companies in my area that compete heavily for the growers business every spring with much touted 215 mixes, but not one can or will provide a soil analysis, much less a detailed description of amendment ratios or even a way to verify if what they claim is in their mix, is actually in the mix. 5 years ago, these companies had never heard of 215 and basic top soil was about all they offered. Nowadays, all they really know is that if they label it "215", they can sell it at a premium. That irritates me big time. When an excavation company starts selling 215 soil, it pretty much says it all. LOL I'm sure their motto is: "Dirt is still dirt and we can charge a lot more for this shit......"
On the other hand, yea, the Worm Farm, IMO, is one of the few, if not the only soil company (if you can call it that) that I would consider " authentic 215 " and can back it up. I was buying bags of guano & castings from the original owners in 07, when it was owned by an older mom and pop couple. It was already beginning to be almost secretly known by the 215 grow crowd as the place to go to buy 215 bulk stuff and I remember at that time, you really had to whisper their name because Butte Co was massively anti-215. Most dont know that many years ago, the Worm Farm was actually a thriving commercial chicken ranch...I find that pleasingly ironic...CC
