Chem 4, Chem 4 OG, Larry OG, Cookies

After these hot temps in the bay, my chem 91 really curled. Its my first time flowering her and its interesting that she curled when the deadhead and multiple tga genetics did not. I'm not saying its a bad thing. Its just interesting that its chem specific. Did your larry curl at all during that time?

hi there, thought i'd drop a line regarding salicylic acid and heat stress. if you web search the terms you might churn up somethin interesting. Plants generate their own, but adding a bit doesn't hurt either. especially when things heat up to the point of curling. any way, apologize if you already knew that. LMK wht you think

Epiphyte nah our Larry's were looking good. Where did you pick up that Chem 91 if you don't mind my asking we are about to pop some chem IBL's hopefully we'll find some good genetics.

I got the chem from a friend. And shortly there after, I got the harborside sour d from the same friend. She just went in flower Thursday! Those are the only cuts I've gotten in Cali. I use to be more worried about bringing powder and root aphids in. Now its less of a concern. I'm about to pick up straw d, cherry kush, and fruity chronic juice which I hear is amazing in an old school widow way!

I love the Chem 91 high. I haven't smoked the chem 4 but I hear its the best all around from a growers and smokers perspective. I'd definitely like following the chem ibl show! It would be even more amazing to find a male to hit the chem 4. I have five og raskel x hgf northern lights seeds that I want to hit the chem 91 with. Maybe I should start those seeds tonight!

Epiphyte, yeah that's what I'm hoping to do here in a bit. I just popped some Querkle beans hoping to make some crosses for flavor and a little bag appeal. Whats really exciting, we germed this bag seed that is either Irene Kush or Mothership not sure which just yet but we will keep the community posted. Hope we get some strong genetics out of that and throw some dicks or vaginas around the place!

Good looking grow over here! Are you planning on staking up the OG's?

I have been thinking about grabbing some harborside clones but all their strains are so flooded in the bay that I could probably buy it cheaper than I could grow it

Here is to hoping this journal is completed I seem to always miss out on the end of the Harborside clone journals.

Quick question for you guys:

Opened up my tent today to find this.. looks like curl due to heat...but wanted a second opinion.. Thanks.. Buying an 8" blower tomorrow.

One of my GSC did the same...it was Mag deficiency..the leaf will get decay spots in a week or so...I upped ph and it went away...that GSC plant turned out to be a spear pheno...cloned it for a SOG...GSC seemed to prefer a heavier feed than my Platinum Cookies.

Thanks for your post...I am just a few days behind you on this grow...I starter April1 and went 12/12 on April 25th. 8 Platinum GSC and 2 GSC...trying to figure out how to post pics now...Great to find a person so close with the same strain and with much the same setup....I added an AC is only difference I think.

Any particular signs of a a Cherry leaning Pheno that we should look for? I'm interested because of the two GSC I'm currently cultivating, I have one that is a bushy bat pheno and one that is almost a single cola spear pheno.....what are the cherry leaning traits that make GSC better ?

I am very interested myself.. I have heard that slightly mutated leaves are a sign of the true bay cut GSC. But we won't really know till we taste it. This is the cookie cut we are rocking

My buddy rocks the gsc. I think the forum cut looks better than the original although I have not smoked it. It is the complexity of the flavor of the gsc that makes it special. The platinum samples I've smoked haven't been too hot. So I can't judge it strain to strain. Get some cherry kush and call it cookies. Just kidding. I'm really interested how it turns out!

How is your grow proceeding? One of My GSC Clones..the spear pheno is a boy...It was leaning a bit and I tied it to straighten at flower time....now flower day 12 I defoliate and remove tie and see balls....well the rest of the girls are doing good...I'll feed tomorrow and clone the under growth this weekend. iPod won't do pics but I'll post some this weekend.

Grow is coming along just fine we are currently on day 19 of flower did a little super cropping to even up the canopy on a few of my Chem 4 OG and some of my Cookies. The Chem 4 and Larry's ended up not stretching much which was great!

It was a hermaphrodite...sucks..it is in the bathtub now as I'm debating to pluck pollen sacks off and put it outdoors or test out the hash maker....day 12 of flower so not much value to hashing it now. I'll get some pictures up tonight....girls look naked after defoliating but are looking good in the middle of day 14 Flower.

Looking good mdclone....that Chem 4 looks great! Looks like the C4OG had to be taken down a notch my pictures may get some harsh reviews as I scrog and defoliate pretty heavily and don't have the big pretty fan leaves...taking some pics now...should have them up tonight.
