Thanks guys I know how much Richard is grateful for your support in not only getting this doco out there, but also in helping the world to see what is happening down here and our struggle to get Medical MJ legalized and also in helping personal legalization of the plant.

Smokin Mooses and Tony Bowers fight are all just a small part of what is going to be a great doco, featuring some great people who are fighting for the cause.

Slayer....Lol.. I wish:biggrin:

thanks for sharing this info. methinks it's a worthwhile cause ...

Look foward to watching this :)

Is this another Doco like "The Union" and various others trying to educate the public on medicinal benefits of MJ or more like the "KOG" film made by a grower / activist / hippy.

Let me say i have no worries or judgment on how people live there lives but you have to admit main stream Australia does and its there mind that has to be changed not ours. And alot of MJ movies and Docos i see are making this harder not eaiser.

I ask because at the moment if a doco full of hippies comes out trying to say that "weed" is great and all, isnt really helping the cause. Legalization will come from education but it will need to come from "proffesionals" such as Doctors.

anything i see putting foward the benifits of Marijuana i believe is great, i also hope its done in the right way tho :)

sorry just saw that if you give enough cash u can be an "associate producer" does this mean if i donate enough to the next die hard movie i can get that credit also heheheh

alos the only canabis grower interviewed as yet is "KOG" kogs growing bush near nimben is prolly the smallest part of cannabis growing in Australia....personally would like to here from indoors aswell as out, personal as well as commercial......

Did you watch the clip......all those people are interviewed.
This is definetly not just another MJ Doco as alot of work and time has gone into the making of it , 2yrs so far.
Donate if you believe in it, dont if you dont. I am behind it 100% and have been from the start as have so many other people fighting for what we believe in :tiphat:

hey Mister pisspotgrower ...

did you check the site and see its smoothness ... how easy it is to pledge a donation ... how much credit donors can gain from their donations?

anything that smooth and caring of the donor has got to be worthwhile.

hasn't it?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7YGW6FesP4 this is the "Marijuana Australiana" i first heard, back in the early 90s, from the band "The Bushwackers" :)

http://stash.norml.org/irie-wednesday-the-bushwackers-marijuana-australiana

When a group of Melbourne university students gathered to share their love of traditional music in 1971, little did they realise that they were establishing a musical ‘institution’.

There had been ‘bush bands’ before, but none that captured the public’s imagination to such an extent that they were able to turn professional.

Having established residencies in Melbourne pubs, the band’s attention quickly turned to Europe where two of their great influences – Fairport Convention and Planxty were leading a folk revival. They wanted to be part of the action, and in 1974 took off to try their luck. They were also heading into the gathering storm that was the beginning of punk! But that’s another story.

After decades of relentless touring, in 1995 the band decided to take a break from the road. The national broadcaster – ABC, marked the occasion with a 1-hour TV special “The Last Dance”. The band continues to record and perform at major festivals/events.

“Marijuana Australiana” can be found on The Bushwackers LP, The Great Bushwackers Vol.1

You can find out more about the Bushwackers at http://www.thebushwackers.com.au

Well, it's not too late is it ? You still have some trees in the ground yes ? Get in touch with the makers, please ? It would be much better if you were featured rather than fucktard kog .... Yeah , I do not like him or the way he disrespects the sacred herb .... I'm just saying ....

Great thread, and soon to be great documentary. I have seen many of the rushes as Richard Baron puts it all together. I have to say it is one of the highest caliber docos on cannabis I have ever seen, both here and overseas. Australia is emerging more and more on the global scene, and this doco will ensure incredible interest. Some of the footage has NEVER been seen before, in any form. I expect this will get HUGE coverage all over the world, and on TV/DVD/etc.
To those who have donated or committed, bravo to you I say. To those who haven't, please do. For those who are broke and cannot, simply spare a good thought for the success of the doco.

Come on Australia get behind this, there is a lot more to this than just another Doco and Richard is putting everything on the line as are so many other people to get this and other things out there, your support is needed.

Been spreading this around to all my smoking mates and growers that I know of, whether they do anything with the information I do not know but I feel good about bringing it to their attention because this is very important to all Australians who would like/love/require Medical Marijuana here in our home country. :D
