Cuts have been taken 18 days ago. Out of 13 cuttings one died and one showed roots today.
Definitly much slower rooter than other varieties I had the chance to run.
To give you an idea my double duch girls take 7 days to root. On the other hand I never had any varieties this fast to root but the CJ x SBD is for sure the slowest.
Anyways as mentionned earlier in this thread this particular cj x sbd genotype seems to have a really weak/fragile root system so it seems logical that they are this slow.

The mum will soon be switched to 12/12 as soon as her own blooming room will be done. I m thinking of running her under a single 400 w. Should be enough for her. A "trailly" will probably be needed to keep her together.
Photos will come up when things start to get interesting.:tiphat:

Finally she hits the flowering room

Finally she hits the flowering room

Hi everyone,

After a few month of doing other things and blooming other varieties i had no choice but to switch my CJ x SD to 12/12 few days ago. She just did not fit in the veg room anymore.

She has now 1- 600 w for herself and i ve tried to bend the branches the best I could. Breaking or cutting as less branches as possible. That took me a while to do so and it was a little tricky but still went well. In about a week or two all branches should be back straight up.

So we have the lady repotted in a 90-100 liters pot. It should be enough and I m planning on not feeding her so she ll have to use what's in the pot. I might had a little organic blooming nutrient dose in about 3 to 4 weeks but that should be all.

Let's see the girl. sry the light was on but since this peculiar variety seems to be very sensitive to most things, camera flashes included I do not want to take any risks of stressing her and since it isn't possible to move her around there are chances to get only hps on pictures.

To let you have an idea of the space she uses, the wooden square with the wire is 130 by 130 cm.

she'll look good in 9 weeks

Do u remember friends? Few month ago she was this revegging little plantlet

Hope u all had a nice time during summer, see u all around.

2 weeks of flowering update.

2 weeks of flowering update.

it has been two weeks since the switch to 12/12 and the plant seems real happy.
She's going back up fast and the bending through the wire did not affect her at all. When not stressed that girl is wild.
She 's covering up the entire room.

Buds are forming on the branches,, they re gonna be many....

All these branches from just one plant.

At the same time cuts are going great. Cuts from the bottom up to the second raw are CJ x SD and Double Dutch from the third to last.

Double Duch cuts have roots since few days. The CJ x SD will probably take around three weeks to get roots so one more week to get there.

You have probably noticed that there are three cuts in this rockwool cube. hopefully all three will root.
They have to go to an other country....

Welcome back here and thx for the kind words Inre. Sorry for the lack of update but been doing other things/projects. In a way I m glad I did cos this has led me to the fat girl I have right now in the flowering room. I have discovered not long ago that I really was attracted by fat girls....

She sure should be a monster in few weeks [to be honnest I think she al ready is one each time i get in the flowering room(in a nice way of course)] and I will have to quickly find/build some kind of net to add a second level of treillis otherwise we re soon gonna have a situation here and the all story is gonna go wild.

What about your plants my friend, is everything growing the way you want? I ve noticed you were having a go with a brand called stardawg,, it sure looks good and the girl are attractive. here is a link www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=266387 )

Entering the 22nd day

Entering the 22nd day

The clones are healthy and showing their roots, nice. The cj x sd really takes much longer than other varieties to show their first little rootlets.

The last cj x sd cuts wich are now ladies...

Thx for the kind words Sunka. You could put a pic of your N'cut/s around here. I would not mind to see how she performs with her feet in coco.

Hi bro':) Nothing really intense to see at the moment...i keep her as mum, and i will try to rock it into my usual clay pebbles system:biggrin:

I think i still have 4 or 5 seeds of this cross at home, if there is a good male within those i' ll BX the cut :)

Vibes and looking forward to see how your monsterplant will evolve!!
