Seems as though Big Green was bang on again!!! Since I started adding Epsom salts to my rez I'm no longer getting droopy girls.... girls have been growing well and are looking pretty healthy. There are a couple leafs I see here and there that have funny twists to them and of course my paranoia automatically thinks BM's!!!! Will snap some pics of my girls tomorrow and of these few funny looking leafs to get your guys opinion if its normal or if I should be considering another heat treatment....? Also planning on dropping my trellis on top of the girls tomorrow and start weaving them. Veg for 7 more days and then flip to flower. Full update tomorrow. Thanks everyone....

Alright Big Green, let me know whatcha think. Weird plants looked droopy today after the tea feed from yesterday. Maybe they needed more water? Pots may have been a little on the light side today?? Gave them a really heavy watering with base nutes today so see how they look tomorrow. Will check run off and see where the PH and PPM's are at.

Didn't get trellis on today, just don't have the time!! Hoping to get it on tomorrow.....

You can see the twisting in the leaf in this pic, this leaf looks to be about the worse and I cut it off and examined with USB microscope

And if they are eggs, how the fuck can that be?? These have been dipped in avid and forbid plus have had 2 heat treatments!!!!

The probability you have broad or even cyclamen mites is extremely low.

Those do not look like BM eggs. BM eggs have around 29-37 distinct whitish bumps on them. I don't the whitish dots. Do you see them, since you can get a better look? I have things that look like that on my leaves and just took em as glands. And while cyclamen mite eggs are smooth, both are elliptical. Your "things" look pretty round.

Broads will lay about 30-70 eggs on a leaf over 1-2 weeks and they hatch in 2-3 days. Cyclamen mites usually lay eggs in small groups (about 3 per day) and take 11 days to hatch. So, yes you would have to see something if those were eggs and they are viable since you would have to see a adult.

IMHO don't ruin your crop. Check on them every day or so if you're concerned. If you find a live one, well then take action. Also, my buddy in the commercial biz said they're not as difficult to control as some say. And they got acres under glass and mites are just come w the territory. But they still get shit to market in great shape...

Thanks medicalmj. I don't see any of those bumps you speak of that would say bm eggs. Just perfectly round circles. Some clear some opaque.

What do you feel is causing some of the leafs to twist like this?

They've been getting an EC of around 1.4 with ph between 5.6-6.0

I will check run off today and see where I'm at.

OK so feed them today same as per norm. EC flashing between 1.4 and 1.6 PH 5.6 after adding some Sea Green.

Checked the run off from 1 plant and EC was 1.2 and PH was 6.7. Think the leaf curling I'm getting is coming from the high PH??? My EC run off looks good no? Its still a little lower than my feed EC..... only thing I can think of that's raising my PH is that my full concentrate of tea I've been feeding them is around a PH of 6.8. Think that's the cause of my high ph levels?

Don't have time now as I have to go to work. But tomorrow was thinking of giving plants a good flush with base nutes, drip clean and epsom salt at a EC of 1.4 and set PH to 5.5-5.6 and flush until I get a run off PH of 5.8-6.0

Let me know if you think that's a good plan and also what you think could be causing the high PH??? I'm thinking from now on I'm going to only brew 2 gallons of tea and then add 2 more gallons of water after for 1/2 strength feed of tea and make sure the tea PH is at 6.0 before I feed plants....

My ph has been coming out high since mid veg and I cant get it down for nothin. Doesnt matter how low I put it in or flush it out, I said screw it and aint stressin it anymore plants are happy.
Mine looked just like that. Once I dropped the calmag and ramped up the A&B with epsom they took off.
I would run 90 ml epsom and 350 ml A&B per 50 gallons. EC should be around 1.6-1.7 and they should straighten out
Thats what I did anyhow and it worked for me

Wait did you add calmag 150-200 ppm and 1/2 strength nutes(total ec 1.0-1.2) to charge the coco the first couple waterings ?

I first pre charged with cal-mag and 1/2 strength nutes. After that no cal-mag. Then last week before you had mentioned Epsom salts I had made my 50 gallon batch of nutes with about 50-100ppm ppm of cal-mag. I then added I think 60ml of Epsom salt.

Just filled the Rez again today and added 300 ml of aqua flakes plus drip clean. Haven't added Epsom salt yet. Think I could go and add another 50ml of A & B now??

I know the guy that sells the cap's bennies grows in Coco and he says he waters all the time with a ph between 6.3-6.5....

Maybe I won't worry about it then? Maybe tomorrow I will make my new batch of nutes at a ph of 5.6 and just give them a really heavy watering.

I really gotta find the time to get my drip system going!!! Come hell or high water I will get the trellis on the girls tomorrow. Then hopefully get drip system fired up on Friday!!!

Add the epsom salt asap. Also mix up some for a foliar and spray em. Thats your problem they need mag
I did a bunch of reading last night about ph runoff and its really deceiving. Just make sure your on point going in and you'll be good

Thanks big green. I was planning on adding the Epsom salt but had to leave for work. Will add it today and set ph to 5.6 and give them a good soaking with plenty of run off and call it good!!!!

So here is today's update. Finished making my batch of nutes. Added 90ml of Epsom salt to my 50 gallon Rez. EC is 1.4 and PH is 5.7.

Still no trellis!!!! FML!!! Tomorrow it will happen as I have the day off.

First thing I noticed when I walked into the room was plants really grew!!!! Gotta get that trellis on them or they will be 4 ft tall in no time!!! Next thing I noticed was a few leafs with some rust spots on them. Could this be mag deficiency? I gave plants a heavy soaking with my new nute mix that has the 90ml of Epsom salt so I guess I shall see how plants react over the next couple days......
