The tester sounds like an interesting guy... Bet he loves seeing you at the gate!
since I rarely smoke anymore I'm really lucky to have
such a *reliable tester*
he's amazing and yeah....
he loves it when I'm searching for new keepers and i yank his chain

Looking good Gnome, got some big girls going there.

Subbed up.

thanks for dropping in TC, I think we'll see some very, very nice eye candy in the next few weeks :smoke:

beautiful grow man thanks for the documentation.

thanks Sift, its a pleasure to have the chance to grow these beautiful strains,
no fuss
no muss
they aren't nit picky
I mean, they nearly grow themselves:biggrin:

First off... :faint:

Gnome my man, those Fly flowers are just amazing, I did not expect the results you are getting from that strain. For some reason I am not a huge fan of c99, just haven't been able to get a version of her that appeals to me yet, but I like her breeding abilities, I also haven't heard much about c4, so the Fly left me weary, but the results you are getting are changing my mind.

Those IBG sure are looking spectacular... and I also want to thank you for taking those requested photos for me.

I hope you have them clones running strong... they almost all look like keepers lol, the smoke will have to tell!!!

Keep up the fantastic show man.

hey sizzzzzz
both of these strains are going to be *up there* and hard to decide what to cut from the line up.
that depends on what my tester says
and what produces what.

and no prob on those pics siz
hope it helped ya out :tiphat:

the tse flys early large bud size took me a bit by surprise
in a good way
and i was a bit worried about the ibg's lacking compared to them.
but I'm watching the IBGs start to fatten up.
yesterday was 6 weeks so there's still plenty of time for buds at this stage to swell up.

this has been one of my more exciting grows personally for me.
Ive been wanting to do these up since last summer when I saw Mo's IBG thread and saw his monster colas...
i can't wait to get my sealed room online and see what happens with tossing Co2 in the mix.

more pics next week :)

Gnome I remember now when I originally ran the plants from seed I got quite a lot of stretch. I will post pics in my thread later in the week so you can see!

Gnome I remember now when I originally ran the plants from seed I got quite a lot of stretch. I will post pics in my thread later in the week so you can see!

using the MH when i flipped the stretch was minimal and easy to manage with the ibg's
i don't think the tse fly had any.
@2 weeks i decided to toss a horti eye on the iBG side and after a week took it out because some grew 6" into the para hoods.

and my tester has ran through the 7 sample of otibg,
3 of them #4-#5-#6 are so so in taste and the stone lasted around 45min.

#7 so so taste and a #4 on the stoner rating and was a creeper

#2 had a thumbs up on taste, 7 on the stoner value and lasted a looooong time :)

and #1 which has been my fav because of her classic shape has an Xcellent taste, he went on quite a bit on the taste!
and is a solid 8 to 8.5 already :D

looks like i may have 1 keeper for sure.
samples were taken @37 days so a mediocre taste is to be expected and the kick of around 7 is the norm,
of course there's plenty of time and the game can change dramatically in the next 2 weeks.
but when I see taste and stone like i do with #1 Its usually going to be a keeper depending on yield.
all my outstanding keepers have tested out like this in the mid 30 days bloom run.

Ive never had a 10, not sure it exists and all my parameters are based on my candy drop pheno at 9 for the last 2 years.
last round i had a 9.5 pop up with a casey jones x chem cross, but the take was poor,
were running it a gain to see if we can get the yield up on her, she was a neglected plant that was side lined. =
but was tossed into bloom because of space available at the time.

Tse Fly ratings incoming today or tomorrow :smoke:

here's a pic of my #1 I think, i have 2 shaped like this one.
she's on the left

Is this one your IGB #1?
View Image

How did this one (your indica pheno) do with your tester?

yeah siz, that is my IBG #1, it had to have its neck broken going into bloom
i have another that looks just like it but the other didn't need
the top creased over.

on the indie leaner I'll have to check that ones # and get back to you.

the way i see things progressing the tse fly's look to be the real winners in this grow. cant wait for my tester to get back on it.

Your #1 looks like damn near like a twin of the bubblegum mom I lost this last season. Its almost heartbreaking, she was some awesome smoke too, and a top 3 for almost everyone running in my circle.

As i remember tsi fly has a lot of shiksaberry in her that would have come via chimera's c4. And it's a backcross right? Any thing with that much shisk can't be no lightweight!

Aaahhh! The shisk I remember her well....

i never grew any shiskaberry but its in the BOG sour strawberry kush i grew when i started indoors and the strawberry smell was amazing!!
i think its from the shisk influence.
and the tse fly today when i handle them are getting a very berry fruity long lasting aroma with a hint of sour funk.

i could smell the resins and oils on my arms 2hrs later and it was still a fooking fruit punch extravaganza aroma!!!

between the TFs and the IBGs its not smelling predominantly of canabis at this stage
just very sweet and fruity.

Yup I live for fruity strains... I got an idea for a breeding project where I gather as many fruity strains as possible and I cross them with my burmaberry cut which is so sour and citrusy... I think tsi fly should be one of them by the sounds of things:blowbubbles::biggrin:

52 days!

52 days!

ok.... now were pushing 52 days into 12/12 and I can see the finish line
coming up fast!
resin production is at 110%
I wish I had a descent macro lens for the cam, these look absolutely amazing in the flesh!
tester from last week have most everything push 9's across the board
smells are predominantly sweet and fruity but the undertones of sour fuel dankness are there and unmistakable

fo sure,
its a fine time to be in the gnomes garden :smoke:

I started flushing last week, runoff on a few is down to 150ppm which is about 40ppm over what tap water is.
I'm just starting to see a few leaves yellowing.
me thinks I should have started flushing a tad bit sooner :shucks:
wed will be 56days/8wks
I don't want to let them go past 60 days if possible.

the next round is aching to get into the bloom room!

Gnome do you practice defoliation?... I like that last shot all I see is a forest of buds, not many leaves at all!

Please identify them for us?

yes i do defoliate all through bloom now so when trim time rolls around it's a much easier process.
leaves with stem that sticks out of the flower usually never has any resin on it and they are the 1st to be taken along with fans
so I cut and toss those 1st.

leaves that are on a short stem and tight to the flowers that i can cleanly snip off is what's taken next.
since these are usually taken past 30 days they're loaded with *shuga* and saved for extractions.

look at post #94
2nd pic down and you can see the short stem on the leaf that is mid pic, pointed directly at you.
i can get my fiskars in there and take it off cleanly or cut it enough that a light tug pulls the leaf off.

oh yeah!! me luvs the last pic too mo...
I love the group shots of the *canna forest*
cali may have the redwoods forest with giant trees..
but the gnome's forest smaller but frostier
pipe.gif

i can give a general idea of whats what in the group shot... :chin:
the plants under the nearest lamp are tse fly with a few IBGs, the furtherest lamp is or should be all IBG.
i tossed an HPS bulb on that side 5 days ago to see if it affects the ripening process a bit faster.

I have been taking the group shots every 6-8 days including them as a last pic in my posts since around 4wks.
I plan on making a pictorial of the weekly progress at the end of this run, should be interesting :)

Very nice pics gnome. I think I'm gonna try out a little defoliating on a couple ladies I got right now.

Got an ADawg that is just way way too bushy. So much so that it can't possibly hurt.

Dayuum bro incredible work as usual!

I now know what my next seed purchase is gonna be.... I didnt realize chimera's c4 is a shiskaberry cross that shines thru in the flys.... Ive been after the shishka or a hybrid for sometime now... also have moscas sweet tooth that im super stoked to run since its similar to the shiska imo...

Always a pleasure to see what the garden gnome is up to in there;)
