thanks for the support peeps, much appreciated.

Im on week 5 or 6 now. Officially they are on week 6. I would call it week 5, as the first week in flower they were still small and had not reached sexual maturity.

I need to get a camera sorted again, but heres a pic or two for just now.

They been getting 1.4-1.8ec, feeding everyday, sometimes even two feeds a day, with no ph buffering.
A couple of the ladies have caught my eye and nose! lol
Im in love with the smell from one of the ladies, really having to control myself and stop touching her up, lol.

Im hoping to get myself a ph pen after this crop (all being safe and well).
The cuttings of the ladies are doing fine, they are on day 25ish from cutting now. Topped them the other day, so hoping they slow down slightly, and also start getting fatter and fatter. Ive managed to give them a max of 1.0ec, but im now trying to keep it less than that, approx 0.6-0.8 max, as im running out of nutes, and also running out of moneys, lol. More than likely will repot them soon, as i got soil already, and that should give em some food for a week or two. Then onto the training for them, which now is quickly becoming a real fun hobby! lol

The other day i was just thinking what an idiot ive been.
Had some great friends who were growers come and go, and as much as they tried to teach me stuff, i really didnt care. All i wanted was to smoke the stuff, and get high lol
Now i realise how much skill and dedication is required to produce something that ive always taken for granted.
Hoping this is the beginning of a new hobby for me. Plus, with the amount of money ill save from not buying street bud, im winning either way! ;-)

thanks for looking people, and have a great day.
Stay safe.

Looks good! Keep it going.

Hi dave, hope u well mate. Thanks for the kind words, and also advise last time round. Seems to have helped them get more light than they were.

WOW! That flowering pic is gorgeous. Frost already and the calyxes haven't really started! I'm excited for you, hell yeah.
Hi sis,
hows my fav sis? hope life is treating you well, and hope the pets are as friendly as ever, and well and healthy!
Im getting excited, and i love the smells everytime i give em a feed. Dam, they sooo sexy. lol
Sorry for not being in contact lately, been busy @work with overtime. Dam bills keep getting more and more expensive, which means more hours wasted on the rat race!

I felt the same way when I started training. It's fun to see how you can shape them. I did one that was in the shape of a corkscrew one time. I've only done it to my mothers though. The pics look great! Good luck!

lol, that sounds awesome.
U got any pics (pics or it didnt happen, lol, jokes bro!)

Is there any technique to get.make the leafs to grow smaller , like a bonsai plants? just a thought....

I actually might. I know I took one of the main stem stripped down. Every once in awhile I get paranoid and have my wife erase all the photos on the computer. So who knows for sure.

I don't know of any way to get the leafs to grow smaller with out adversely effecting the over all growth of the plant.

It takes a lot of skill and dedication, but it's quite an interesting and enjoyable process. Sometimes I get more enjoyment from growing them than smoking them.

I have a pH pen and recommend it!! I'm colorblind, so using the test strips are out of the question.

hi peeps,

sorry, been so busy at work, ive not really spent much time with the ladies. Snapped a couple of pics a day or so ago, so will post them up now..

i think its about Day 48 of flower (approx Day 85 since germination)

So far, the most impressive is a ssh smelling lady. I really hope she smokes like she smells. She smells lush to me. lol. think im in love..lol

Definately a couple of the ladies aint worth my time, skinny ass buds , and nothing special looking/smelling so far. Mind you, will only really be able to tell once chopped and cured, all being safe and well.

heres some pics...

Been so busy this week, i didnt get that much time to make food for em, so for atleast 4-5days, they got only water and no nutes.
Will flush em 2morrow, then back to feeding near full strength.

This grow has been so much fun so far.
First i spent most of my spare time reading and researching.

When it came to trying it out, i started with nervous hope, and also hoping luck was on my side.

Since the cutts have taken to training, topping so well, im feeling more confident in myself around the plants. Ive been able to keep em happy with guessing how much food they want.
I really regret not having a proper veg area tho, as im making them live in a ghetto made veg chamber. Constantly hacking away at them, so they stay capable of living in smaller pots for the time being.

I really cant wait to try the cuttings from the flowering ladies. Ive got much more understanding of how the plants stretch, nodal spacing, where the pistils form, and also starting to play with ideas to try on next crop, all being safe and well.
Im pretty sure my next crop will have plants at a much more manageable height, and also more bud growth utilising all light.

Hope u all are having a great weekend, and thanks so much for all the positive comments. Ill pass ure words of positivity to all the ladies..

Stay Safe.
Peace

Nice one sticky buds look excellent any chance of a full room shot of the plants plz

Wow, that's really something!!

Hey sis,

hope u well and life is treating you kindly.
thanks for the positive words. Hows ures doing sis?, sorry, ive not really been finding time to look through forum properly. Will check ure threads over the weekend for sure.

They really stink now. Ive noticed when the lights go off, they smell extra stong for about half hour, then go back to normal smelling amount.lol.

thanks again sis.
Peace

Easy brotha!
hope u and family well.

Yeah man. let the duracells recharge, and ill take a room shot.
I havent been doing room shots as most of the bottom part of the plants has been stripped bare, and also wayy down to try get them into the whole shot.
These ladies definitely took me by surprise in terms of how much stretch they would go through. Mind you, being a newb, i didnt exactly help, by not training them or tie-ing them down.
Now that ive seen how they grow from seed, i cant wait to try em from cuttings shaped the way i want.

I really love the shape of the bonsais now. Will post a pic up in a min, just looking for some rizla first...lol

No worries, it's 4/20 over here! :D

I just chopped one this morning, have two more ready for chop.

I chopped this one because if you look at the leaves, there's something bad happening with the plant. I think that's from a combo of heat damage and nute deficiency, possibly also underwatered. Anyway, it's 70 days into flower, so ripe for the chopperoo, so I did. It smokes just fine from the samples, but I wanted to get it before the actual buds start looking icky.

I have a clone coming along nicely on the deck, too.

I'm off to get my outdoor grow spots ready ... :D

lol, deffo not natural bro. thanks for the kind words tho. :)
I wont underestimate the usefulness of this forum, and also all the books ive been reading. Now that ive actually got plants around me, im getting the opportunity to try things out.
I think i treated em too kindly to begin with, but ive learned valuable lessons from their mums.
Kind words for sure. Not sure i deserve em tho, but hats of to you and a big thank you.

Great fucking job Sticky!!! Everything looks great!

hey bro, what can i say, apart from im well chuffed !
lol
Thanks to input from people like yourself, this journey has become so much more enjoyable, and easier to deal with.
I cant emphasize how much difference it makes to have people around who support you, and help in anyway they can!
Hats of to you too...

I really do need to sort out a veg area. This lil cupboard is nearly outgrown now.
Ive got the height in there, but i dont want them to get tall.

Its a simple cupboard, with black white on the front to cover/seal it. Inside is a small carbon filter attached to a small extraction fan.
Keeps the smells at bay. No intake hole/ducting.
These three ladies all stink, so carbon was a must.
Bought a cheap usb fan, and rewired it to an old nokia charger, so it runs via plug, 24/7.

and then theres my fav, no5, the smell of pure lemony ssh.
