I'm a big H&G supporter as most of you guys know about me. And truthfully. I've speak to there reps all the time. Shit these guys just throw me a call once and a while just to say what up and see how things are going due to the fact that I used to call all the time and ask 100 questions. And dude never had a company so patient with there customers and willing to help

My boy(nows my boy)Alan. He's like. We are all abott the grower and not the product. Cause I asked him abott shooting powder and if It causes foxtails and I was like bro be straight with me. And he sure did he's like listen dude. Truth is im not gonna sit here and say Oh SP is the best blah blah and try to sell you on it because that wouldn't be 1.tru 2. Jus not necc made for every persons needs. Which I respected that he kept it real sayif. They are on the "Farmers" corner over the Product so they won't hype it up so you can buy it they'll tell you the truth. I thought that was cool. So my point is lol


I follow the schedule pretty much up n down. Of course I add some things here and there or change it up just knowing my bitchs needs and how they are doing

But yeah 5ml is def the Lowest dose I give them. I basically just start them off at 5ml AB and go up from there. I basically top off at 8.75ml A an B. (just cause I'm lazy to start busting out 10 eye droppers to measure precisely. Just easier to use 3 spoons instead of droppers (ime) so this why

1-TSP(5ml)+1/2 TSP(2.5ml) + 1/4 TSP (1.75ml). = 8.75ml and that's at peak flowering time. I sometimes drop the 1/2 Tsp or 1/4tsp from the mix if I'm adding a bunch of strong additives like bloombastic. Or M.O.A.B( my SP alternative)

So I hope that can give you an idea of what's up from what I'm doing.

I'm currently growing in coco and am in the process of changing my Canna nutes to the H&G line.

I've been using the Roots Excelurator for a while now, love it..bought the Coco a+b, Bud XL and shooting powder. I'm using tap water and have had to supp with calmag when using Canna.

My additives are
B52- b vitamins, kelp, humic and Fulvic acids
Sweet raw
ZHO beneficial mycch.
Fulvic acid

My first question is..are all these additives necessary or beneficial with the H&G line?

Ok, secondly...I have a bag of Gh Maxibloom 5-15-14..seems close to top shooter or pk 13/14..can this be substituted?
What about my bag of powder Koolbloom 2-45-28 to replace the shooting powder?

The additives you mentioned. Are necc neccessary lol. Because the full H&G has basically everything you need for a full complet harvest. Shit you can even get away using just the Coco A&B and be totally goods. But like you I def add a bunch of other shit here and there as well. I don't use strictly only there stuff. I def add extra stuff from other companies like N.U.T.S , M.O.A.B, and there silica product from madfarmer. I toss in some Big Swell from Roots organic here and there I alternate additives. But you can either stick to a strict regimen using all H&G + add. Or you can mix and match just as long as you don't double up on stuff like for example. Using 10 diff PK boosters in one shot. Stick to 1 or 2 and go with it. But the stuff you listed is compatible yes. I don't see any problems with them. Like I also use sweet raw. With there stuff although I cut it out to see the difference without it. Cause bud XL has some stuff that's like it. Sweet raw is just a carb boost so no issue there , B vitamins Ful an hum. Never an issue there either. Your good dude. Just slowly Introduce it if you want. To see what it does and if it effects it at all but you should be ok. Let us know how it works out. I'm always curious to see what's up with other stuff

I use a20ml medicine syringe for measuring. easy, quick, accurate.

What's your thoughts on the Gh Maxibloom in place of the top shooter? Do you think they're close to the same thing?

I think of maxibloom as a base nute, so I wouldn't use it together with your a+b. Your ec will go way up.

Yeah you might be right,but I was going to drop base nutes to alleviate that. I might as well get Top Booster since i have the rest of the line, I'm sticking with the Koolbloom instead of shooting powder though, I trust it and have a big bag of it. I have a sample of drip clean and Amino treatment, enough for a run, so I'll experiment and see if it's worth the $$.

I'm doing some side by sides with that theory in mind just to see if there is a marked difference in quality and yields. I will be using a bloom booster though.
