hey yall, been a while since i been around tho ive been lurking i havnt done any posting. been sorta out of personal grow stuff for a while tho still helping my friends with theres. i figured its about time to get back to it. so i gutted out my old emachines and im getting ready to set it up to grow heres some pictures of what im working with. really looking for some advice one things like. whats a good idea to cover the open areas. i was thinkin of justt some cardboard taped into the areas.
im going to put 2 more daylight bulbs into that power strip where the motherboard inputs used to be. the side with 1 fan is the intake and the 2 on the back are my exhaust. also was lookin for some advice on mounting the 65 watter. that friggin bulb is massive haha wasnt expecting it to be bigger than my 150 hps bulb. thanks in advance :thank you:

I've been impressed with the plastic tote micro-grow idea. Much more versatility and can still be very stealth and perpetual growth. Divide it for veg and flower. You could even do some breeding! Cheap and portable.

Not too late to reconsider your set up. A little more space can offer so much more. Think about it. Good luck.

atm a pc case is really all i need im not really worried bout all that. just lookin to grow for the fun. and yea i got computer crap all over the house so another pc in the corner is the least conspicuous thing really, if anything i can get more of them going that wouldnt be an issue at all in fact its sorta the long term plan get a little double pc perpetual going

this growbox brought to you by "Duct Tape" hehe

this growbox brought to you by "Duct Tape" hehe

so i wired everything up and closed up all the holes i could, tho i think i mite cover up the vents on the side even tho they will be facing the wall when i put it in its permanent spot. friend cut some fresh clones tonight so once those are rooted ill get em in. got it all plugged in and doin a bit of a dry run to check temps. so far sitting at 74degrees and 35% humidity so not bad. also gotta get some mylar in there maybe next friday ill get some.

You'd be able to put a few 18w PL-L lights in there instead if those spiral cfls and gain an easy 2" in heigh and be able to run that thing a few 'C cooler.

Lookin good though ;)

Have you thought about going for a small tuppaware as a DWC tub? Would give you some dense nugs in that beast.

im going with soil with this one just for ease. i dont have a tester or the gear to set up a dwc all i really have is a pump hehe. im used to soil as well. so i figure go with what i know first time around then maybe ill get alittle fancy as i go. as far as lights i did these cuz it was cheap and easy to get. tho i didnt even check really whats the pricing on the plls?

I really don't get why nobody is fuckin guttin his case? It's not like its a lotta work and it is a huge improvement... Anyway, I'm interested to see where this is goin :)

aaaaaaaaaand where off ! :woohoo: went over to my friends earlier and to my surprise he said they were ready so i went and chose a blueberry clone. luckily he had just got back from the hydro store and got burned hard. guy told him the promix hp he was buying was coco haha. but we both had a good laugh and i explained to him its good stuff. so we stuck it into some promix hit it with a root powder on the roots, then gave it a watering with some sensi grow a&b, some root accelerator.and orca beneficial bacteria. now shes all tucked in my pc case. going to make a screen for it tomorrow gotta brainstorm some ideas on how imma do it. but heres some pics. i got some others of my friends settup in that album if anyone is interested in seeing. still if anyone sees anything worth improving or w.e feel free to chime in im still very open to redoing things if need be. i deff need to find a better way to mount the 65w atm its just hanging from a socket i duct taped to the front of the pc not the best i know. but its all i could think of. anyway thanks and happy tokin:rasta:

ah ok, that makes sense now. just opened up the cab after overnight on, its at 80 degrees, and 0 humidity.is that a terrible thing?

so shes been in there a couple days. not noticing anything really happening. still got no humidity at all, i stuck a bowl of water and a soaked sponge in there and its not doin anything for me. tried shutting the intake/blower fan off too for a bit and that didnt do anything but raise temps. probably swing thru walmart this weekend and get a humidifier. found a nice big container that fits perfectly in there for when she starts moving in vertical growth ill mover her into that. also made a screen to for when she starts moving out of some straws and speaker wire :)

Very low humidity is good. As long as you don't get any warmer, you may be ok, but 80 degrees is pushing it. Temperature moderation is going to be the challenge for you with this set up. It is no small feat to grow bud in a pc box. Or, I guess it actually is! Good luck, and please keep us posted.

80 has been the highest but it was for very short time. its averaged 76 past couple days and i got some humidity today its chillin at 32% currently. shes deff starting to move. roots are already comin out the bottom of the pot. so i got the new one ready to go for tomorrow. gona hit her with more nutes too looks like she could use alittle nitrogen and maybe some mag any thoughts on that anyone?

well transplanted today. looks like she is going to be much happier in her new home. had roots all the way around the old pot. idk how that happened so quick. was barely any vertical growth. but maybe shes just getting her footing. hit her with more nutes but all seems ok. humidity is bouncing between 20-36%. temps stayin good. all in all very happy so far. :blowbubbles:

so shes been veggin out. i cant fkn watch her close enough little bitch is growin like a weed! who woulda known hehe. few leaves hit the light and burned alittle a few times. since apparnetly i cant sleep for 8 hours without her growing to big to touch the lights hehe. took one of the 23w bulbs out for more room. i been just lsting her since i cant figure out a way to mount the screen. but its workin out ok. minus the light burn spots shes seems ok. pls let me know if u all see anything worth correcting. ooo! also found out this is apparently blueberryxchemd not sure what seed company friend got his cut from another medical grower sorry im terrible at taking pictures. thanks again for everyone who looks/comments :thank you:

Use skewers or sticks to hold the screen up. Stick them in the dirt or attach them to the pot. That way you can move the pot to inspect your plant. If you attach the screen to the PC you wont be able to take the plant out to water.
