Here's a quick update to show you the OH#9 currently in bloom :

And finally, a last pic to show you the difference between the A5 Haze (at left) and the Original Haze #9 (at right) : more flowers on the OH for the same tall, rocket structure... in the middle of the St Haze cathedral, 2 SSSDH branches... :)

must be a hell of a time trimming haha! great pics btw this is sick looks like fun. I havent smoked much hazes except things like SSH and a few other hybrid kind of things. when i started smokin, stuff like white rhino, train wreck,a k47,SD, bubblegum were big and then i remember purple and o g kush became really popular, now lots of stuff plus wax but what im getting at is that while growing up these, what to seem to be, less hybridized strains where not around as much. this is making me want to track down some trippy smoke, i dont even know off the top of my head what a true sativa high is like.

what hazes would you guys recommend trying? (open to all suggestions)

for me a haze like the ones you have is totally impractical to grow but some of the qualities mixed with something else would be interesting too any thoughts?

@ duk => thx bro... ;)

5 or 6 weeks of stretching for the OH#9... about the VHaze, it's a really interesting strain, and I keep the #1 : lot of trichromes, great smell and balanced taste, between a citrus haze and a classic OG strain, very nice pheno... :)


@ sticky => yeap, the trimming was a hell, you're right... but the smoke was worth... :woohoo:

For the recommanded haze, I suggest you to try the Tom Hill Haze if you don't want to grow "big" hazes" : 120d of flowering time & the tall is more manageable... :good:

Im very curiuos what the St Cathedral Haze Lineage is ?

I Have another question i hope is not too much ,But is your Hunt Complete was # 9 OH your Grail/Dream Haze or will there be another Launch ?

@ bigherb => I'll take some pics of the hazes tomorrow... ;)

About the St Haze cathedral, it's just an image bro, not a strain... on the picture, the A5 and the OH#9 look like a cathedral, in my mind mainly... :D

For the quest, yes I found my grail with the OTH#9, but I hope find a lot of others in the seeds that I've made (my final project is to made a threeway with the Original Haze #9, Oldtimer's Haze #1 male and Miaumiau Haze #2 male)... later (early 2014), I'll work on this A5 cut and some other interesting A5 crosses like A5 x Mirakel e.g... lot of other projects also, but I'll have to make some choices... :rolleyes:

@ duk => no bro, and this is no longer possible... sry... :frown:

For infomation, DPlop = Cannalope Haze DNA x Deep Purple TGA

The smell is clearly hazy on the BKK x OTH#1, but more fruity/berry on the DPlop x OTH#1... :)

Well there are some choices that are harder than others an i wouldnt mind being in ur shoes lol

I too would have loved too see those BUd pics ,OHaze Pics r Rare .BUt the comparison would have been a sight to see

The A5 Intrigues me it seems quite similar too (Picture 2) in the picture section in the Link below. Its not listed as to which Particular clone it is but its No Doubt related

From pics it looks like A5 has more wild sativa structure than your Ohaze ,But that OHaze is Impressive the colas look fat they filled out nicely


When possible in the near future ,Please do Take some pics of both the Dried Haze buds before they dissapear

@bigherb => the OH#9 seems to be more similar the pic 2 than the A5 Haze... the A5 Haze have a foxtail structure with big calixes and a lot of trichromes, but it's not easy to see on my pics... I'll try to make some best pics later, and also some dried buds shots... ;)

@duk => the smell on the BKK cross is really hazy for the moment, floral/fruity but not piss cat, neither coffee like the BKK... on this pheno, the OTH is very dominant, but the BKK brought a reduced flowering times, an explosion of trichromes and a more compact structure... and I think that I'll cut the hazes @ 12/12 +110, to test... :)
