Yeah, RIU really went to shit none of the OG's are around anymore because of it. A lot of members left because of Uncle Buck and his crew of SJW trolls can't even talk plants once you are on their radar. Forget about posting marijuana news on the politics section just a bunch of shit slinging and the only ones to get banned are not with Buck and crew.
Of course I've been banned here too before over a weed related news article of course it had to do with a breeder on the site.

Im going to kick this thread back up for a moment. RIU is really a cesspool. I was lurking thru the LED section for a while recently.
I also saw that some one called uncle buck seems to be a shadow owner or super mod masquerading as a member.
This sad excuse for a human is one of the singularly most racist and hateful examples of prejudice I have ever seen. And it gets a free pass to spew comments that would make the most evil despot proud.
The LED forum has more info than IC but overall the site is a toxic waste site and I wont go back. If its possible can someone fill in the blanks why it went from a .com to a .org and now crashes almost daily? Im not crying for them and with the kind of click ism and bias they have Im all for seeing them suffer any ill will that is visited upon them.

The internet needs to be eradicated from earth. I guarantee more than half the accounts on grow websites are not your every day pot farmer with an internet habit.
The site is probably always under attack because some nerd got busted and RIU handed over his IP and PMs. I've seen screenshots from RIU in court. Wanna know where I've seen Icmag screen shots?

just cause you saw a screen shot in court doesn't mean anything, i have the privilege to know all the mods here very well and the owner personally. we have a dedicated web master who works tirelessly to keep the site safe and free from bots, spam and hackers. but in the end anything you post online can be copied and stored, if you didnt realize about screen shots by 2018 i can't help you. look after your own security and this site is the safest in the world. go around telling people your real name and address, don't be surprised if it ends badly. in the end anyone can make an account and see most of this website. same as every other forum out there.
