Prepaid gift cards

Hey guys as you all know those little prepaid gift cards are great ways to make purchases somewhat anonymously but the only problem is I can only find these in maximum balances of $100.

I like to use these to order equipment and such but any nice light/ballast setup is way more than $100 and I don't wanna ask someone to use their credit card to order a grow light.

anyone know where to get prepaid gift cards with a balance larger than $100?

any tips or tricks? thanks guys, stay safe!

if anyone feels this should be discussed in PM feel free to hit me up.

Wal-Mart has pre paid visa debit card's that you can load 1000$'s on bro! You buy the card register it for overseas purchases! The original card is a temporary card and the real card will come in the mail a few weeks after you register your original temporary card! It cost's 3 dollars at the check out to load the card! Hope this help's you out!

hmm, that sounds good, but I'm looking for more of a 1 time purchase, $250-500 card that I don't have to register, get mailed to me or any of that stuff.

does this reloadable card have to be registered or anything like that?

If I was you Id just get the card I told you about and have it sent to a safe addy! If you register it for overseas purchases you can buy things oversea's! Ie.. Bean's! They are safe bro.. I've used mine alot, just load the amount you need to make your purchase and use all thats on the card! When you want to make another purchase, go back to wally's and re-load your card! Safe addy is the most important thing! I personally dont know of any one time load cards to tell you about.. Maybe someone else on here can help with info on a one time load card.. Good luck! Stay safe..

the wal-mart money card can be loaded with $500 without registering the card. You could get more than one card without registering the card. Just go into wal-mart and purchase the card. There is no personal info involved in the initial purchase of the money card. There is very little protection of your money if the card is not registered. You can register these money cards with any name and addy you want. They aren't going to send you a bill.

There is a maximum dollar amount the card will hold. I don't remember how much but its not thousands of dollars. When you reload they only allow $1000 max per load.

or just send a money order and be done with it without all that noise. They can be purchased up to $1000 normally. $500 at some gas stations. Expedite it to the supplier if you're in a rush.

15 people don't have a clue?
lol.. You didn't.

good idea but then you have to deal with sending the money order and if you are ordering from more than one place you will need multiple money orders. That just turns into a even bigger hassle...

I want a one time purchase credit card where I don't have to give out any info or register the card or have it delivered somewhere. I want it with a limit over $100 because that is all that I have been able to find and most equipment (ballast etc) cost more than $100.

thanks again.

Just bought one at Walgreen's for $200. Only to get home, read the fine print, it has to be registered, on line..to SS#, etc. Apparently, you can buy one, for a thousand $ or more..

Don't waste your time at Walgren's.

Not harping on ya, but this is what I don't understand about a lot of people. It really isnt anymore of a hassle then obtaining the "right" pre-paid, buying it, loading it, having to active/register it, and then proceeding to use it online.

When I can just checkout online, stop at the post office and buy a money order for my total, and so conveniently while I'm there buy stamp/envelope, and its on its way. Done. They cost 50 cents.

Send that MO priority mail with delivery confirmation and keep your MO "stub" until you've received your order.

Really is the safest, best way to go about it.

- -

My local grocery has Visa/MC pre-paid at $100/ea. I'd need several as opposed to one money order. Furthermore they charge a $5 activation fee. Most prepaids around here that let you do more then $100 are wanting a lot more info then just cash.

PS - most online merchants will deny a sale if the credit card used to make the order doesn't match the billing address of the credit card. Because most pre-paid's have no billing address associated with them until you register them with your shipping address your order will likely be declined/delayed, etc due to online merchant security policies. This is referred to as the Address Verification System (AVS), and most online shops employ some sort of rules surrounding this to protect them-self from fraudulent orders.

^its pretty much a big giant hassle when you can simply drop essentially a cash payment in the mail and be done with it all without having to register any type of shipping address with anyone associated with credit card and the banking industry.

just my 2c.

holy shit wtf. that's a little more intense than what I'm trying to do here. lol I don't want to commit fraud or steal from anyone. I plan on paying for my stuff.

For international purchases such as from the attitude seedbank, the card must be registered to you with your name and social. That's to prevent cartels from sending millions back home loaded on cards and taking the cash out from an atm. Also, to prevent the funding of "terrorist groups." Basically,an excuse for the banking dicks to keep track of more poor people's money, while billions magically vanish from their books daily and they launder money. The gift cards you can buy at wal-mart or walgreens, the prepaid visa ones can be loaded up to 500 bucks. Just read the fine print; I wasted 15 bucks on cards and ended up having to use my AMEX. I really wouldn't trip anyway, you have to be pretty hot already for the feds to be trying to peek in your purchase history. They'd have to pretty much already suspect you and have a warrant. Just go to walmart and ask which card can be loaded one time with up to $500, there are tons of them.

I still don't see the hassle of just getting money orders. Just stop into a gas station, have your money separated and know what you want for each order. I got two last time I went, and it took all of 5 minutes. Never asked my name or anything like that. I guess another 10 minutes to write out the envelopes and send them if you have separate orders, but that is still faster than however long you've been researching which cc to use.
