nice camera Willy,

Yeah I've been looking at the aqarium places, got the bulb selection down to 2

JBL Solar Color Ultra T5

OR

iQuatics 54W T5 Aqua Blue Special 50:50 Hybrid

leaning towards the last one, perfect spectrum on both but less green on the second.

Initially lets have a Bruised Nuts rooting at the surface (Camera didn't pick this up so well)

and compare to a older and more rootbound plant (of another indica strain) where the roots still avoid the surface of the coco mix

Now here's some more BN

Thanks DoT
DP, thanks for the pics, but wow thats a tiny pot for that plant lol. No wonder the roots are trying to climb out ;) I often throw an extra inch of compost on top half way through flowering to take advantage of the roots on the surface. Within a week or so they are on the surface of that compost too. Up down sideways, they don't care, so long as they are finding new compost.

I wanted to see how little root space I could give a plant without it showing any ill effects, that one is actually looking pretty good in its budding, the Bruised Nuts have slightly bigger pots and they're younger anyway :p
It seems as long as they get their nutes they're quite happy :p But I had been adding more coco to cover the roots, especially because initially I thought I'd accidentally washed the coco off! it didn't make much difference to mine either :p still rooting along the top :)

Get a watermark on that quick, or it'll be on the front page of High times and you won't get a penny for it.
Having said that, I'm pretty sure the terms of use here say that Gypsy owns all your pictures or has the right to publish/sell them. I could be wrong.
Great pic mate.
Dark side of the growroom.

EDIT
I was mistaken about the TOU.

Hey Harry, nah IC Mag copyright conditions are pretty cool, far better than any other site online. They not only don't consider your photos gifts to them, (as certain other uk sites regarding 420 ;) ) do, but say they would help you in any offsite copyright infringement issues. Besides, can you imagine the pride at getting the cover photos on High Times lol, if they gave me a credit on it I'd be chuffed as fuck. Prob keep a copy framed on my wall.

The male flowers are going pink which is nice, I wonder how pink they'll go :) I've had mainly green and white flowers before.

I've been spreading pollen around today :)

That dark picture would make a good t-shirt. Is there space for a picture on the seed packets? ;-) or do you already have one?

DP, I spent an entire day getting the printing design sorted out, I love what I designed, got the perfect material to print onto, get ready, and the thickness of the material caused the printer to break, it wont print at all now. So for now, it looks like the first release will simply be in baggies :( Which I'm gutted about.

Thanks GP.

My mistake, good to know. My apologies to Gypsy. I remember a thread years ago with someone whining about it, he must have had the wrong end of the stick.
Wrong end of the stick, now there is a phrase with a truly delightful origin (look it up).
EDIT
Regarding your seeds. JLP used to use coin holders and a little bit of hosepipe. The hosepipe, if cut to the right size prevents the pips from being crushed. A straw inside a cheap biro is another good method for crush protection. You can get biros screen printed with your logo really cheap.

Here are some more crosses for you.
Big bud= Swollen nuts.
Blueberry=Blue balls.
Some strain that is really susceptible to mold= Crotch fungus.

lol Harry, have we done the David Beckham cross yet? Pot of Gold cross = golden balls? Or the skunk = stinky balls? How about an afgooey? Gooey Nuts? lol this could get out of hand quickly.
I don't know how seedbay ship things these days, not had anything for a while and I know they like to switch things up. I thought of all sorts of neet ways to keep the seeds safe from being crushed. The best I could come up with is those document spine things, almost triangular that you used to get from partners stationers. Trouble is the local partners shut down. Then to be honest I considered the cost, and realistically, as I prob wont get a balance at seedbay worth claiming for myself, (due to the costs of doing so safely and cleanly), so I thought I'd keep things cheap since its going to be me paying for others to have the strain. Even though they wont be given away as freebies or for the server fund.
So they will prob just go down in the bags and let seedbay worry about shipping the product safely. I'll put the lot into a vhs video case to protect them on the way to the bay.
Heres a pic taken from my monitor for the front design of the card that was going to wrap the baggies.
The colour of the bottom is as the top and the rabbit is much whiter but the photo to comp screen buggers the colours up somehow.

LMAO, yeah he's not exactly a fan of this project. I'd love to enter some into one of the big cups. If it got placed he'd prob shoot the judges. I'm a big fan though, can't see a down side to it. Maybe you'll find one as the first person to receive it.
