A bunch of "firsts" in the grow. Growing Goji OG and Purple Peyote started from seeds (first time for seeds) and first time doing coco and first time doing hempy. What could go wrong?!?!! Hahaha

Started the purple peyote first and the goji a few weeks behind. Started 2 pp and 5 goji. All sprouted and made it for awhile. Got one goji male and I think a pp male. The pp male seemed like it was growing kinda fucked so I got rid of it and I didn't have space for the goji male, unfortunately. The seeds were started in soil and I began taking clones when the clones were four to six inches. Most of the clones went into rapid rooters and then into coco hempy solo cups. I did some clones directly into really small coco cups and had really good success. That may be my new method. Clones were vegged for two weeks or so in solo cups then transplanted to one gallon buckets. Vegged another 5 days and I'm flipping the switch today.

So far goji 4 seems like a weakling. The rest are growing really well

I also have one DHN Platinum GSC and one blue dream going, just to see how they grow in coco hempys

Once these stretch I'm going to take as many clones as I can and throw them in my 3x3 under a 400 HPS in 2.5 quart hempy buckets. I can fit 16 mini hempys in the 3x3 and 25 one gals in the 4x4. I'm only doing 19 plants in the 4x4 bc of the timing of my cloning and I wanted to keep several bonsai moms.

How are you finding cloning in straight coco? I've always used peat pellets with virtually 100% success rate. I've been trying coco but have been having trouble with it. Do you have any tips for successful coco cloning?

Thanks man. I've just done the one run of clones in coco but had 100% success rate, which I'm totally willing to chalk up to beginner's luck. I used 2ml CaliMagic, 10ml Canna Start and 10ml Rhizotonic to charge the coco. Used the Home Depot rooting powder.

The plants in bloom are stretching quickly right now and I'm hoping that this weekend ill be able to take clones and clean them up in general. I plan on putting all the clones in the same coco mix.

Are you doming the clones initially? Or just misting? What temps etc.... Good Luck got 4 gojis just threw in my self. I like this grow style. How tall were the cuts when you threw them in.

I misted and domed for 3/4 days at 78 degrees and 70something humidity under the dome. Then my propagation tent was at like 60% humidity. Little roots in 7-10 days.

All the plants were 8-10 inches when I flipped. They're all stretching out pretty good right now. I'll get pics tonight or tomorrow.

oh yeah. great start. IM IN. so 4 moms? how have the moms grown since the pics?? did some grow much taller and faster than others that stayed short and stocky??

nice frost. i got 4 phenos myself. A kinda short internode frosty monster that is snow leaning with glossy green leaves. A inbetweener that has the snow lotus shiny leaves also with less frost. A big og pheno that grows and roots with great vigor. Also a long lanky og leaning pheno. That one has some super stretch and shoots for the sky. Not sure which to keep. Og leaning with lottsa stretch or snow lotus frosty. Seeing mag deficiency in week 6 with r/o and h&g. I think they are mag hungry girls in mid flower. Good luck
