That shot has been passed on to a concept artist who is going to add a life of color and detail to it before we run some prints. Got a few more winner shots getting the same treatment.
I appreciate it. The current gear consists of a Nikon D800 camera body, Nikon 28mm f/1.8G lens, circular polarizar filter and Alien Bees Ring Flash. Sometimes I'll use a macro extension tube to get in close or a reflector to help bounce light onto the subject.
Expecting to add the Zeiss 100mm macro lens, Nikon wireless macro flash kit and a couple of Nikon SB-910 Speedlights to the gear before next harvest.

What cut was that it looks different than most. Is that the scm cut? It seems to look more like the cherry pie or gdp? It seems to yield better?

yeah that is the SCM cut....fookie cut that seems like a gdp cross.
^^^^dro's got it....just realized i posted the pics with no Days or even which cut my bad.
SCM looks the same since my last pics of it except lower buds have swelled up.....that plant is done at 55 days. Im chopping in a couple days so ill post the pics then, that's why i didnt bother....my current forum and platinum cookie run is about 10-14 days out from chop.
Ive been flushing the scm for about 10 days already, burning white and tasting like cookies, smell is barely noticeable unless i put my nose straight up to a bud.....it is also not potent enough for me, it really didnt do much....versus the platinum cookies, gave me an anxiety attack---granted those still have some time left like i said, trichs are mostly clear and some cloudy but strooooooooooooong bud. The best part about the new scm cut is its bag appeal

got damn harborside,well hopefully when u chop and smoke u will confirm scm gsc are legit.i have the forum cut s1 seed in veg and im hoping it comes out like the mother
When I was buying some clones at Harborside a while ago they told me they had "fortune cookies." I asked the clone guy after questions about other strains, "what cut of the GSC do you have? I have the forum cut, not sure if you even know what that is..." he said that he did know the forum cut, and this was fortune cookies.

On the bright side, I got some DHN blue dream and wifi and they are outstanding. Still in flower, but I would buy from Dark Heart Nursery again.

bet swerve has the SCM...the person he was namedropping as his source for real deal just made it public that CC was not given real cut, most likely s1 of bagseed. there is a weed dweeb war going down online over cookies lol..first strain that might get a booth run up on.
anyone done heavy defoliating on their GSC cuts? one thing i noticed is that forum fan leaves stretch out far and block alot of light..and platinum is just generally leafy so the lowers barely got light. gonna have to try it out next round to help bump these yields up.

i usually strip the majority of fan leaves once the stretch is over....stripping fan leaves off the platinum made a noticeable difference...
I would not suggest defoliating the cookies, it lessened my first overall yield because i did so. Even though the fans are large, extend far, and very dark, the cookies is one plant that actually enjoys low light. Buds all the way to the bottom fill regardless of defoliation, but do whatever works for your system, just sharing my results.
hmmmm, that is true, at least of the forum cut....Gunna have to take your suggestion and try that out next run. I dont exactly strip the plants bare as my pics have shown but it has been a habitual thing for me(stripping fans after the stretch) to do to my plants to open up light down below
