You'll know as soon as it starts to flower if you do, straight oranges and kinda tall and lanky. Have done a few TGA strains over the years and she was top2 for sure in my opinion.

I lurked last years thread pritti much from the middle ~, didnt catch the beginning but this time i did. Keep at it, i'll pull up a chair.

Good stopping by cat, you did not miss much in the beginning, just soil prep and poop spreading anyway. Im spreading poop, steer, chicken and worm tomorrow so will put up some pictures of my recipe.

Those are fucking beautiful, and so uniform! My first grow outdoors ever was lemon diesel and shiskaberry back on 2005. Wish I had that lady back, when we made oil with the shisk trim it always had a pink/purple tint to it, amazing!!

I am with you Sampson, TGA gear has it's gems, but they are few and far between. Last year I was disappointed in Plush Berry. Also, I would love to see what you do to your pots and how you amend them. Post up those pics please.

Poop and Soil Porn

Poop and Soil Porn

So im doing the amending the soil thing much different than I did last year. Last year, for those who didn't follow along, we dumped out each pot and mixed in dry amendments and refilled the pot, added water and let them cook. It was a good recipe and worked for the most part but was too labor intensive and messy. The new jobs don't allow for that this year, but I have a plan! POOP! Step one in the process was adding a mixture of hummus, manure blend and high nitrogen guano in early December. About a week ago the rain/snow had pushed all that through and the top of the soil was starting to re appear. With around 2 months until planting, this will be the big amend for the year.

First step is a layer of local composted steer manure, comes from the steer pen at the Applegate dairy up the road. I went for about 2 inches of evenly spread manure per pot, by volume a heaping wheelbarrow load did 2 pots.

After I watered in the manure really well and let it sit It was time to add my castings. I try to put down a really good layer here, but I continue to top dress with casting through out the growing season. Here's a pot with a good layer of castings next.

Compost

Compost

Last step on there pots is the compost step. I got 2 yards of local organic compost plus from a spot close to my house and use this as the top layer of my pots. I pretty much top them off, leaving a little room for another small layer of castings in a week or after this coming rain storm. Good looking dark compost enriched with all sorts of good stuff

Here is one of my best pots all done and covered with compost, did a three pound headband for me last year :D

Yes sir, she came from arcata so I know shes the one I been looking for, the soda is in the linage of the cheesecake so there are many similarities, Im going to do a bed of 5 BCS Im thinking, its dank and different than anyone else has. Ive got about half of my seeds popped, Im doing a light dep greenhouse of paradise seeds sweet purple and sensi seeds super skunk. All fem seeds 6 of each. Ill cover all that when I construct things in the next weeks. My bed builder is out of town until next week.

Subscribed- I enjoyed your thread last year. Good luck!

Thanks for coming out brother

Yup there's room on the deck, set up a chair. I did grape god at my other location and they are frosty and monstrous. I have a 10 pack of fem seeds soaking in water right now. I had a friend do the same thing on his smarties last year, no till just amend and let it sit. He topped his with straw but I'm opting for a thicker compost, its less messy and beneficial. He had giant plants and very little nutrient or micro nutrient issues, so im rolling with it. I also have a few bags of good bat guano and will have lots of extra worm castings to get me through veg. Once flower starts they get fed so often that it doesn't matter if the soil has ran out of nutrient steam a little. But i put A LOT of manure on these bitches so I think we are ok.

The lower Beds

The lower Beds

The general idea of the lower bed expansion was this. I was planning on buying 10 300 gallon smart pots. After careful consideration I decided to take a play from a good friend playbook and just make my own smart pot beds. The dimensions are going to be as such, 35 feet long, 65 inches wide on each ends and 24 inches tall with the smart pot fabric rolled down. I am planning on planting 6 plants per bed giving each plant around 300+ gallons of soil. Im going with a slightly wider and shorter bed but Ive seen great results by doing so. The first bed is going to go in the open space above the current patch, the second will come after I clear the trees directly above the first bed and will be of the same dimensions but will contain only 4 monster plants. Below is my crappy MS paint skill while high....

Can someone do some math for me. Im ordering my tarp as soon as I have my answer. My greenhouse is 12 feet long, 7 feet wide and 7 feet tall. what dimensions do I need on a tarp to cover it completely, including the ends with a small amount left over put bricks on to hold it in place. I'm shitty with math, wouldn't know how to even start to solve this problem.
