I don't hold back the good, bad, or the ugly. This thread is here for others to learn from

I appreciate this right here. I don't think anyone has any idea just how many folks follow along "behind the scenes", picking up little nuggets of wisdom from all ya'll.

Thank you and K+.

Well unfortunately I lost the males while I was locked up, so no seeds for now. I am starting to seek mothers, but so far nothing has made the cut. Not that they don't all look very dank, but i'm a picky bastard searching for specfic traits. Many many more beans to pop bro . I think you'll finally be convinced to get yourself some destroyer once I get around to some closeups ;), and these aren't even top notch phenos.

The destroyer is nr 1 on my list , but they had only fem for a long time, i have to find my pheno in the F2 or the crosses i will do with it, i still have 1 cubic feet for vegetation:laughing:.
And now I am waiting for the regular m/f mextiza beginning of April , and i will get me some panama seeds as well , lots of beautiful genetics. Kudos to you my brother :tiphat:looking forward for your updates as usual
Peace S

 man you're probably the 15th person to say that in this thread. Seems i've got the best kept secret in the vert forum. Hides amongst all the awesome shit everyone else is putting out around here. It's been an interesting ride thus far, hope you enjoy the read.

PM charlie garcia or dubi, and see if they can't sort you out. Both are very cool cats, and i'd guess charlie has a bit of stash laying around ;). Worst case you might have to wait til I crack some more and find a few males. One way or the other we'll get her in your cab

My personal favorite chemmy jones, and seedling from this batch . Have to get back to you guys on the smell as they all seem to be changing by the week.

picture.php

Really like this one as well. Was very rotten/foul smelling in veg and begining of flower, but now is developing more of a sweet fuel smell.

Tangerine Haze (TANG) = I got this cut (again) from a contact "gro-bro" had, he has lived in the SC Mountains ALL his life, his dad grew, his uncle grew...everyone on the mountain he grew up on grew pot...he knows more growers than I bet 95% of the peeps here on IC Mag, but hates computers...lol...doesn't even have a email address and he is HALF my age....He got this cut from a friend who had been growing it for over 20 years....it is (I think??) some mix of a "Mango" and a old school landrace haze like possibly "thai" problem is it is MINIMUM 14 week strain but dyaaammn does it produce, large yields, rock hard buds, extreme potentcy. I have seeds of it (from a hermie accident) so I can get another pheno going, but would worry about "hermie" traits in the seeds.

Once we get going in the large commercial spot, believe you me I will be testing it again, BUT!!!....it is not a very good commercial strain due to it's lengthy flowering period.

I might have an old picture of it...let's see here...YEP but it is only a pic of some stuff I had drying...it's all I have (shrug)

I am sure that if people stopped looking at it like $ more and more of these strains would get their day in the sun if you get me. My Dad is like the guy your talking about his dad and his dad, and brothers grew up in the sticks and grew their own and I tell you what My dad grew this Skunk all the time took 12 to 16 weeks and would just keep on truckin if you let her and the shit was out of this world have yet to see anything even close to that good ole skunk #1 from back in the late 70's early 80's. I am sure its out there but more and more people want things that finish faster and faster for the profit side if it and these 10-20 wk monsters are becoming an heirloom of their days.

I still have some of those seeds in the freezer, and hope to pop some soon. Was really bummed your attempt last year outdoors only resulted in males...
If you still have access to the cut via gro-bro, I would love to stable that bitch for you!

Update time! Going to start this one with a product review. I'm primarily a hash smoker, and as such i'm always looking for new ways to enjoy it. Well a few months back I ran into a thread krunchbubble made about using an ecig to consume hash oil. Was less than 50 bucks for the setup, so I figured it was worth a shot. After owning it for a couple months, it goes everywhere I go. Absolutely love this thing! It's extremely efficient, discreet, clean (no ash), requires no lighter, rechargeable (my battery last 1-2 days between recharges).

Larger piece on the left is the battery (ego C upgrade 1500mah). On the right is a 5 pack of cartomizers (kanger 3.7-4.1ohm). You just pull the cotton out of the cartomizer and fill with hash. Use just like you would with eliquid.

picture.php

The mah rating on the battery relates to how long it will last between charges (bigger number, more puffs between charges). Cartomizers and atomizers have an ohm rating that basicly just refers to how hot the coil will get. 3.7-4.1 seems to work very well for oil. Krunch did a bunch of testing and these were his recommendations.

On to the grow.......

First up some romulan just starting to root

picture.php

and some nightmare diesel from a super secret source lol :friends:Thanks bro! They look a lil rough atm, but they've had a long hard journey. Not a problem, I'll get them whipped into shape in no time......

Few more romulan in the 1 gal. SRGB's. Will be flowered in few days, maybe a week, sog style.

So I had one of the craziest things I've had happen in my grow career happen the other day. I have a garbage can I use for breaking down root balls, leaf, and remixing used media. When I got out of jail I was kind of pissed about all the lost clones so I just tossed them in the garbage can to make room for replacements. I tossed the lid on it and forgot about them until a couple days ago. When I opened it back up to start loading the SRGB's I was quite surprised to find several of the clones had come back to life. Pretty cool in and of itself, but it gets better. Among the clones I thought lost were the ultimate strawberry diesel, and strawberry DD. Also acquired though top secret channels . Anyway, fucking stoked that they some how lived!

USD on the left, Stawberry DD in the middle, and a DMK on the right. All in 3 gal. pots because I will be mothering these.

picture.php

Took down the three Chemmy Jones. This is my favorite. Smells like raw coco and something I can't place just yet. The other two share the coco smell, but less pronounced. They also have an added chemmy/fuel smell. Not sure i'll keep her long term, but it smells so good I had to reveg it. Odd as the smells were completely different on these plants just a week ago.

picture.php

You can see a couple nanners in this pic. All three had them, but that's to be expected after almost 12 weeks on a 9 week strain.

picture.php

Finally got around to revamping and reloading the racks too. Took one of the 600's out and replaced it with two of these........

picture.php

Hmmmmm what are those heavy metal bastards doing in D's high tech palace of pot?

400w Ceramic Metal Halides, let's see if they're as good in life as they are on paper. Helped even out my lumen distribution if it does nothing else. I've found the right metal halides enhance quality without much effect on yield. CMH is supposed to be better yet, so let's see what they do.

picture.php

Notice how all the wires are run up to the ceiling? That's how a pro does it, take note. Safety first.

picture.php

Also tore out all the blumat stuff and ran all new 1/4" drip line. Each plant now has a shut off valve located in the feed line. I still have to install a solenoid, and grab another DRT-1 to control it. I have parts for a drain system that will be installed as soon as time permits. I'll take pics and explain that later on.

picture.php

Some plant shots. Wanted to do a Vsog, but timing worked out that the room was open and these were over vegged already.

picture.php

You can see some of the individual pot drains in this pic. These will be connected via flexzilla to a 1" pvc drain. Handling all run off. More pics and better explanation when I get it done.

Pulling up a chair and taking notes. Your CMH setup is the kind of thing that I am dreaming of building in the next 12 months.
