spoke to a flint town disp owner. Said theyve all been served with shut down letters.

Side note: all of the a2 dispensaries had "raid preparedness training" the day before the announcement.....

i have been in Michigan all my life...federal law supersedes state law period. Michigan closed dispensaries. As soon as cannabis s legal which it will never be....that will be the day when no one will grow again because they wont be able to compete. in Colorado 40 dispensaries closed because they can afford the regulations and license...All the so called growers by their stuff by their stuff retail and most have never took out a pen and paper to see that their cost are more than their profits most growers here are gullible and ignorant and dont like to be told anything unless its from high times lmao what we have here is a bunch of consumers that wont be able to compete bye bye cannabis

I'd rather be a lot farther north, but what do you guys think about the Saginaw\Bay City\Midland area? I'm considering applying for a couple of jobs there just to get back in the state and then seeing how it goes from there.

Ur pretty safe growing anywhere...assuming the basics are covered. Its what goes down afterwards that is becoming problematic... A2/ypsi/the d... Thats where the dips are standing their ground & prepping to fight back, places where the dips r staying open and have some local support.

Btw dont register ur grow addy with the state...though any half way competent investigation wont figure it out, but why put it on the registry? cops will now have access... To verify ur status, lol... Im sure hostile cops will get a printout. And up north they dont seem as progressive/open minded.

Sag-nasty is kinda sketchy. Lotta scum and lowlifes, mostly on the police department. Bay City is trying to improve. Midland is pretty good all around. Lots of room outside of these places to stretch out.
Our laws and the legal system here are suckin ass right now. But old school precautions will keep u under the radar..
Jobs are tough so having one or two would be very 'helpful'

You would made a good addition to any of those places.

I guess right now the pressure is going to be on the dispensaries, whereas the caregiver-patient relationship remains secure, absent some sort of change or replacement of the law. I can see the southern urban areas doing better but I guess it's going to be a little shaky for awhile. Good luck to everyone.

Thanks Pal, I really appreciate that. I thought the area might be a little depressed but I really have no way of knowing. Looking at the area I had already figured I would live out in the country if I moved there. Midland seems like a decent area. In any event I'd probably only stay in the area for a year before heading north. I hope you are doing well.

I second Midland as being a pretty legitimate place. Out of all the counties I've had to test my legality the officer in Midland was the most respectful and least pushy. Only other time I've run into any was when I LITERALLY almost ran into a pair whilst walking my dog. They made fun of me for not noticing 2 uniformed police officers standing twenty feet from a squad car (dabs). We exchanged dog stories while they took turns petting my dog. At one point the dog laid down in the muck giving the signal that can only translate as "pet my belly." Without hesitation one of them kneels down in the mud and starts petting her.

I live in Midland. Very stuffy conservative area, they closed down the one dispensary here within months of opening last year. One of the judges declared dispensaries unconstitutional and agreed with Bill Shuette's interpretation of the law, and no dispensaries allowed in county. As long as you stay within your limits though, it is a nice safer place to live. Out of the three, I'd pick Bay City, more progressive and a fun party town, there is a bar on every street in every neighborhood. If you want to get shot, Saginaw has the one of the worst crime rate in the country, and they also aren't mma friendly either.

What do you think about a delivery service, since the courts recently ruled p2p transfers of small amounts ok as long as no money was paid, how about just charging for delivery and not for the meds? It's just a shame I've got overages that I have to spend a lot more hours making into hash edibles instead of getting it to patients that need it.

Word^^

Remember as well, you can get 15 minutes out of Saginaw and its suburban and then 30 minutes it's zcountry living one again. I would not consider living in Saginaw, but I would consider working there and did a long time ago.

If you don't have to find work and can handle tons of snow, long winters further north may be better. Mostly laid back but pockets of retard repubs in charge in some cities like petoskey. But even there, 15 minutes out and your living where nobody knows nuttin. But you have limited service for Internet, cell phones, and cops.

And finally there's the upper, pockets of civilzation with lots of trees and swamps between the dots on the map. In most of the small towns everyone knows ever other ones business. But again just out of town it's different, but you may be a long way from Internet, movies, or much in the way of culture or other humans. Folks drive 2 hours for groceries like fresh veggies not found in small town markets, your capachino is from the stop and shop out on the highway (2 lane)....

Scrappy, who has lived, worked or played in most corners of the mitten.....

Taking my happy ass back to the UP as soon as I can. Somewhere near the Big Lake, out in the bush, living as humans were intended to, on the edge
