Ive spoken with SGL. They are very helpful with everything. They give good explanations, support is fantastic. Feels like they know what they are talking about, dont get this feeling at my local dealer. Besides if you are selling shitty product why put ad on a site like this? How long wouldnt it take before someone puts out a rewiev? This site houses a big clientel to them.

Yeah and know what 23 watt sounds perfect for me. if 200watt covers same are as 1000HID does. WOW i just saved my self 800 in watt. and as it looks now im usig 5000 watts. they will cut it down to 1000watts. Sounds fantastic. however i hope yeild is as big as promised.

i hate to bust your bubble, but whoever told you 200 watts of led equals 1000 watts of HID is a fucking liar. if it was SGL then they just hung themselves on this site.

you need approximately 60-80% LED wattage to equal HID. so 1000 watts of HID equals closer to 600-800 watts of LED.

please read the sticky threads at the top of this forum. links to three of them are in my signature.

lots of good information in those threads and proof of what they can do, but whoever told you that needs this...

:bashhead: :stfu::spanky::snap out of it:

I was just wondering if anyone here has bought one and could give some feed back. Thanks

I haven't tried them myself but asked the same question in my thread. I am however surprised to see the forum allowing pitching other led options in this thread when it is specifically about one of their advertisers.

25 or rather 23 watt lights is what they have from what I have seen BUT haven't seen a single REAL picture from a grower yet which I do find weird.

I would have thought at least a mod etc would have tested a panel or two out from them by now.

I see that 25 watts per sqft being a great option so 4 - 8 of these panels should do a 2x4 to 4x4 justice.

Are these cookie cutter? they sure don't look cookie cutter but as stated I haven't seen a single one in person or even a live video of one in action yet.

Come on advertiser, any thoughts on your panels since you advertise here and all?

Are you interested in buying a bridge? I can give you a sweet deal.

Especially how much it costs to advertise here. I have yet to see a single journal using one. Weird. Dunno how they do it :/

They state that in their homepage.

Im looking for a way to cut e-bills so what panels u got?

don't believe everything you read...

but now i went there and read what is actually says and it doesn't say it will grow as much as a 1000 HID, it says 8 of those units will cover the same footprint as a 1000 watter...

Covers the same area as 1000 Watt HID
i would say 8 of those panels could probably stay close with a 400 watt HID in yield.

deceptive marketing at least...

i use 2 welthink wex-c150's, but there are better units on the market today.

lumigrow, california lightworks, growblu, evo, heliospecta and blackdog to name some of the best.

Ok

1 unit has been bought and is up and running!
Currently used for VEG mode.

Currently Basil and cannabis growing.
So far so good.
The basil has really started to grow and the cananbis has started to give a lot of leafs.

Before the SGL unit they where put in the sun during the day.

Yet to come and as for all of us most intresting is the yield.

Forgot to mention, one thing that i really like about the SGL is that the light acutrally is white. like a common 60w bulb. so it doesnt seem sucspicious.

I have a Solarstorm 400 in operation right now. We'll see how it works.

I just bought a Custom Blackdog type unit from the Chinese. Should be here this week. All veg spectrum 5w leds. For use in my veg room. 244 5w leds.

If this works, I'll get some made optimized for flower.

Do any of you have a philosophical difficulty with that veg/flower switch which turns off some of your leds. If you have dedicated veg and flower rooms, why would you want some of your leds turned off at any given time? This is not aimed at those who only use one light. Mine are all-on all the time.

I'll document my grow. Maybe I'll have something to show. bg
