WOW! Really great info!! 
Is this too much for a beginner to CO2 and environmental controls?
Not running CO2 yet, just got my tank and regulator. Ive been doing my homework on controllers. Not opposed to spending the extra $$ to get the best. And I dont like buying things twice or having to upgrade immediately.
I just wanna know from some seasoned growers.... Should I step up to a unit like this being I'm just about to start CO2? Or will the Iponic help guide a beginner grower like myself to easier control AND better understanding of my grow?
FYI: I have a 4k flower room soon to be 6k 16'x11'. Duel hose 14btu ac/heater from soleusair. 50pt frigid air dehumidifier OTW. No exaust (i scrub from w/in my room). CAP CO2 regulator. I would consider it to be a non-sealed room.
Is this too much for me? Any input from Iponic users would be great.

If you're willing to drop the coin it'd be great for you. I found one of my fans not working and looked at the graph for temperature of the last 24hrs and saw exactly when it failed. It's not that complicated, just take a couple hours reading the manual and playing with it before you install it.

I've been calling around to the good hydro shops and so far the ones I've found that carry it, Way To Grow, dont really have anybody staffed that knows too much about the iponic.
Going to the store now to see what they charge with the communication moduel. I'll make a post on my findings.
P.S. 16x11 4K aircooled in soil.... Does a 50pt frigid air dehumidifier seem enough? Or should I bump it to a 70pt? Perhaps different brand? I know its not a dehumidifier forum, just fishin for some assurance with building around the Iponic.

Still doin the research. The people at the grow stores weren't any help at all. I knew more stuff about the Iponic just by reading this thread.
As for the price, they quoted me about 1300 with the communication module. I found the combo online for about 1090. Gonna have to spend another $60 or so on the wireless receiver you guys were talking about a few pages back ( Cant remember the model #)
If I go for the Iponic, a sentinel pxm-1 is a must for my AC. Does anyone have an opinion on if I should get one for my dehumidifier or is it okay to just plug that straight into the unit? I ended up ordering the 70 pt frigidaire. Pretty sure it pushes about 750w. I also want to plug in my regulator, a 30amp timer box that holds my lights, and maybe a 10" fan attached to my scrubber ( I scrub within my room, I might turn it around and turn it into a scrubber/exhaust ) Still not sure if I should go sealed or non-sealed room for the CO2.
After babbling, I feel another pxm-1 for the dehumidifier prob seems necessary.
Thoughts?

I don't plan on plugging anything directly into my Iponic other than air pumps, CO2, maybe circulating fans. Everything else will be on C.A.P. UPM-1's my lights and fans will be powered from my power controller, I plan on using Sentiel PXM-2's as a trigger box from my power controller to the Iponic I have 2 dedicated 120volt 20amp outlet on my power controller that is ran off the same trigger as my lights. So lights come on fans come on. A/C/Dehumidifier will be on UPM-1's. I would call Link4 to get a accurate answer. But I wouldn't plug in anything over 5amps
@Gratefulart, Do not plug a dehumidifier into the iPonic. Get a relay. This has already been discussed earlier in the thread.
@RC, There is no problem with splicing the cord and wiring it into the analog inputs by the weather station hook up on the iPonic. Ive already asked Link4 about this. They suggested I buy a cheeper sensor (one for about 90 bucks) rather than go with the weather station. Now that I think about it I shoulda kept the other sensor they sent when I had to swap out my unit. :-/

I don't know about sensors a and am interested in what you do but fuck the light control boxes and get contactors from an electrical supplier. They'll be higher quality and you're going to need six of them, four will probably be 120v and 15 amp and I think you can pick those up for twenty bucks. If you can wire up a cap 4 light controller you can figure it out. I cut off vacuum cleaner cords and use them for trigger wires.

From what I have read I can't find anything it can do that Growtronix doesn't. There is quite a bit Growtronix can do that Iponic does not.
Growtronix can be used in the UK
Do you know where I can find a good diy on making a trigger box relay?

You have to go to an electrical or lighting supply. Most are happy to work with the general public as they charge you more. A 15 amp single pole contactor will cost about twenty. A 15 amp outlet will costtwo dollars. The box might be twenty or thirty dollars. You can probably tell them you need two feet of wire and get it for free.

But the cap UPM-1 120v which is good for controlling dehumidi or ac you can buy for
under 50 bucks. (To buy a relay from a store its going to cost 25 bucks just for the switch...)

I wasn't aware of this product. Looks like a good deal if you don't want to make a controller box of your own. I'd make sure its UL listed.
