Anyone been to the treating yourself expo? Was thinking of going this year and wanted some reviews from others that have been. What's in the judge pass, worth it? Anything else one should know?

I have been going for the Past 2 years, and No you don't require a License to attend. You may "need" a license to get in the Vape area, but that's not even the highlight of the event, the parties that they have at vape central in dt Toronto is better. Many vendors too see, look at, many a breeder/seedbank will be their. For those that use bottled nutes, a few companies will be their showcasing their products.
You can have just as much fun without a vip pass which cost $420. What does that give you about an Ozs worth of samples to judge, and access to two parties and I think a dinner.

Forgot to mention, my main motivation for going is to pick up some new glass. Figured there'd be some decent discounts, that true?

^^ very true, good deals on LOTS of awesome glass vendors.....there are so many products for sale there it is hard to choose what to buy. Got a TON of free bottled and packaged nutrients from AN and other companies....talked to the REAL breeders of some awesome companies and also some less awesome companies like Greenhouse but it was still awesome to meet Arjan and Franco! Love it there and go every year. I am NOT licensened. People were openly selling/rolling/smoking weed in the actual expo....there is no cops or security really and it is so big one person smoking a joint here and there did not even make it stink. All a medical card gets you is acsess to a place where you can vape (only vape no smoke) with other paitents....IMO the vape lounge does not sound that exciting and the real events take place at the expo part where the vendors are at.

Regular pass. VIP seems a bit expensive to me.

Hi there

Well to enter as a private grower or compassion club you need to submit 500 grams per entry. You can enter as many strains as you like but must submit at least 500 grams per. Eg. 2 entries is 1000 gr , 3 is 1500 etc. There is no additional fees.

To enter as a seed company you must have seeds in packaging in stores. Entry is 60 grams per strain entered plus entry fee of $1000 for first entry then $500 per additional. Eg 2 entry is 120 gr + $1500 entry fee , 3 entry is 180 gr + $2000 entry fee. There are 2 catagories for seed company and that is Indica or Sativa. Can enter as many strains as you like

There are prizes for 1st , 2nd , 3rd in each category consisting of Glass Cup as well as a special bong both made by RooR Germany

All Entries must be handed in no later than May 1, 2013
