i'm actually not from bristol but you want to watch the forum TOU,, because soliciting for anything in real life through the site or any potential security risks are against it to protect members..
is your dilemma something only someone local can help with?
Been saying this for well over a decade now... This growing lark is getting way to popular these days lol back in day we were all solid, now it's just messy.
Is your question about your local water scorce ?

you might want to get an ec pen at some point they really come in handy..
hardness is to do with elements like calcium in the water that buffer pH..
chlorine does get reacted up by uvs when exposed to sunlight for a while, but just stood in a water tub no.. and water still has chloramines in even then which is the chlorine reacted up and they accredate which is more poisonous so to speak than chlorine anyway.. the bigger problem from the chlorine is probably the damage to microbe life in the soil which make a huge difference to the plants well being and health of its roots plus ability to access nutrients because the bacteria and mycorrhizae are working symbiotically with the plant..
reverse osmosis is great and costs only about 40 quid for a three stage unit on amazon.. if you have a way of using one then its worth it not just for your plants but for your health as well..
