What's new

Silver's second straight-bulb several strain sweetened soil sweetness. Seriously.

Why yes I have... :D HB and ND coming from the same grower... and I would say that I prefer the HB for both flavor and potency. The ND wins on bag appeal... but appearances aren't everything. If they were, I'd still be growing purple weed. :) I've never grown ND, only HB. I don't think the grower I got the buds from did too terrible though...

What up silver? Things are looking proper in here man. I'm in the same boat as you too, I've been neglecting my broads. Definitely need to put in some time and do an update on my thread as well. *sigh*

Shits proper, that ND always looks killer. My headband this round ended up being the night ender.

:)

I actually prefer the ND on the taste, but I do agree that the HB is "stronger," in the sort of stupefying effect, ..

The HB yields just about as well, I think, but finishes a little more quickly. Okay, two weeks - pretty damned quickerly.

Decisions, decisions..

No offense taken... Just giving you a thorough answer. :)

This is Silver's show. I'm only here to point out his flaws. :biglaugh:

Make 'em sweat

Make 'em sweat

At long last, I've got some humidity crankin' in the veg tent. Big thanks to bobble for the idea & encouragement (especially after I'd just chucked the project, in my mind).

picture.php

Let's recap. It's basically like my blumat res - a lower, larger reservoir pumping up into a higher res, fit with a bulkhead set to maintain a certain water level, and the overflow drains back into the lower rez.

In this case, the level in the upper bucket is just enough to give what the pond fogger needs (which is only about 1.5" - literally one "piece" of those drains).

picture.php

There's a small fan that blows down into the upper bucket, where the mist is generated. That swirls it nicely around the tent.

The fogger itself is plugged into a humidistat, which is set to keep the room at +/- 60% RH.

Here's the whole rig, with a pair of Nightmare Diesels next to it. The lower rez is just a trash can (22 qt or something - fairly small). Upper bucket used to hold stuff used to hold cat turds.

(Orange bucket is not a part of the getup - it's currently a stand for the Happy Valley seedlings)

These lil' thangs:

I'm excited and honored to be doing test driving these for House of Love - thanks HOL!

I need to get a link up for that thread. I'll add one to my signature, I should.

One thing I do love with the vertical setup is that there's almost 0 loss of height, from the base of the stem.

WAY to high for this right now. I'll be back soon. Seriously I shouldn't even be posting cause I've been drinking too. But hey, fuck it, I wanted to drop by, and honestly this spell check is working wonders right now.

Looking good!

And I must say that's one hell of a photo drop !

Thank you sir! I've been a little neglecty on the thread lately, figured I'd make up for some lost time..

Very Nice. One of these days I will spring for a good camera and do my ladies some justice.

Thank you sir! But it'll come in stages. I bought the camera about 6 months back, .. Next step is to learn how to use it.. NEXT step then is to do my ladies some justice ;)

Thanks Benzo!
