Mother/Cloning Area

Mother/Cloning Area

Figured I'd share a few pics of my mother/cloning area.

Just like I start my seeds in a paper towel and then once they sprout put in the rapid rooters, all cuts get put into field capacity ( dunk rapid rooters in water and then squeeze until only a few drops come out) rapid rooters & then place under a 7 inch humidity controlled dome until roots appear, then they get transplanted into little water bottles or coke bottles of FFOF soil.

Guess I missed this doughnut setup Bro......Looks like a definite grab bag of varieties from really sat to mid sat/ind hybrids , so there`s really no way of knowin where and when they`ll be by end of each individual stretch cycle , so .......

Good luck and ride the waves of a bagseed grow.....The one in front looks like a keeper , and cuts can be taken and re-vegged if yas wanna try any of the plants again.....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:.....

Thanks for stopping in DHF!

By the one in the front I hope you aren't talking about the near 100% indica..not a very hood producer IMO.The buds are very small and no where near as developed/dense as all the others.Right now my two favorites are the one in the front right corner (smells oh so fruity like pineapple tangerine, quite possibly seed from a batch of Pineapple express),the other would be in the back left corner with some very dense very frosty nugs and a chemical/diesely/astringent smell.I took quite a few clones but sadly almost all of them are from the indica plant with only two-three from the more hybrid/sativa plants but I will take cuts from them in the near future to make more clones and possibly mono-crop...

Been thinking of doing a scaled down and tweaked version of Heath Robinson's Flooded Vertical Octagon with 1-2x 400w HPS...keep any eye out for a thread about it as I'll most deffinitley want your opinions and assistance on that build.

Looking nice JNUGG you could prolly clip some of those fans now. keep up the good work.

Thanks Hotboxes, been slowly pulling some fans day by day, more like every other day lol.

Thanks Hotboxes, been slowly pulling some fans day by day, more like every other day lol.

I take my fans about every other day. This makes it so the plants don't stunt and delay the harvest date.

If you take NAPA 8822 (floor dry) and put that on the top of your pots it will slow down the evaporation of the water in your soil. This helps with salt build up at the top of your media. It will also turn tan when damp and bone white when dry. I use this to tell when to water or how fast my plants are taking up nutes and water. If you use this to judge how fast you can take your fans it will help you in the future to know how fast a strain can be trimmed. If you go to fast your floor dry will stay dry longer in between waterings and let you know you screwed up and clipped to fast.

If you use the floor dry you will need to rinse the dust out of it and give it some nutes before you use it so it does not mess up your plants.

Plants look great.

Day 35 Flower

Day 35 Flower

Today is day 35 of flower for my little donut grow of assorted bagseed and things are going pretty smoothly but I am thinking about getting some liquid koolbloom and using that with the lucas formula that I am using (8ml micro/16ml bloom per gallon) to help fatten the buds,a little boost so to speak and help pump along what the plant usually does over the next few weeks...stack the calyxes, fill out and pump the weight on!

On to da pics...

Since the plants are waaay past end of stretch , yas can drop that bare bulb down in amongst the sideways canopy where the top of the socket is even with the tops of the plants and the bulb is deeper to provide more lumen penetration/plant absorption ftw IME......and....

Yas can start takin all fanleaves off the plants that have a stem attached gradually over a week-10 day period till they`re all gone till end of cycle for max swellage on all dominant limbs and colas......

Good luck...DHF.....:ying:......

Hey thanks for popping back in DHF...you know you're always welcome 'round here in my threads bro.

I dropped the bulb lower at the end of week 3/4.I've got it so the part of the bulb where it screws into the socket is even with the plant tops...should I drop it lower so that the junction box the socket comes out of is even with the tops?

Nope........

Never had junction boxes Bro , just mogul sockets direct wired to romex cable...and......with the smaller plants you`re right where yas needta be.......just saw em above where they needed ta be in the pic and meant to offer constructive criticism for the greater good......

Keep dialin.....Respect.....and.....

Peace...DHF.....:ying:......
