I grow a lot of Riot gear, Hiding. That is true. I show what I grow - Riot and otherwise.
I do not want this thread to turn into a battlezone. There's already name-calling, and I'm not down with that. Please, show some respect for each other. I don't care whether you like Riot, or me, or anyone else. This thread is for showing pics of the plant I grew and relevant comments, not for lobbing ad hominem attacks and practicing poor social skills.
If you're skeptical that these are real bubba genetics, feel free to express that skepticism. But don't be insulting about it. The fact that I believe this to be authentic Pre98 genetics does not make me stupid - there are some legitimate rationales behind my opinion, not the least of which is consistency with cuts acquired from knowledgeable, experienced sources. And, you know what? I've been wrong before. I may be wrong this time, too - but if I am, so are a number of other people, many of whom have no opinion of or are no friend of Riot. I'm always okay with acquiring correct knowledge, though. Always.
Please, for the folks who feel they have something to prove about what they know about Pre98 genetics, tone it down a notch. Learning is fun; mockery and taunts aren't. Let's enjoy ourselves, please?

Why in the world are you guys arguing about this... Your talking s1's and clones, apples and oranges. Just cus it's an s1 doesn't mean each fucking pheno will be the p98 cut, or any fucking pheno for that matter. I could write a huge list of s1s that produce phenos nothing similar to their mother.
I don't work for this dude, I don't know the grower, but I do know this argument serves no purpose.

the plant looks lovely, but it doesnt look like pre-98 bubba to me at all. i would agree that it looks more like a diesel or something.
i have the pre-98 bubba cut and ive made and grown out S1s of it which look very similar.
bubba, it's S1s and many of it's crosses have that classic stripey purpling trait on the leaves.
having said that, if you like it and the way it smokes then who cares?

Caligula (Riot) is saying that is a dead ringer for the pre 98 and it's clearly not.
Besides Bubba is pretty true breeding, doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that S1 looks nothing like Pre 98.
Im not going to go back and fourth with Riot, I know whats up, I have pre98 in my garden, I look at it everyday.
He was the first one to bring negativity to this thread when he said everyone that thinks that doesnt look like bubba is a dildo, well there is a dildo here but its not me.
bubba is pretty true-breeding and it's S1s closely resemble the cut.

I'm not commenting on the breeder or the OP. The guy calling people names and saying that plant's structure is identical to pre98 bubba is pushing misinformation and that isn't cool. We don't want this site to end up like riu.
I took a pic of a small side branch hanging out to try and minimize the hps lighting. The colors aren't right in the photo but it does show structure somewhat.

I agree this does not look like pre98 bubba, but this is a s1. To me me anything is possible with s1's.
Just look at the katsu cut of bubba. Also bubba is not for sure a landrace, this has not been proven, it could be though.
Whatever you are growing looks dank and by your description of smells I think I would be blessed to have this in my garden.
