Much love to the good doctor who grows head stash herb between his comp and toaster oven. Doing what most people cant do spending 100's of dollars and buying tents or what have u... Always an inspiration, KEEP IT UP DOC!

Even though I've been growing since '94 (inspired by west coast friends met on dead tour) I wish to thank you for reminding me to simplify. Over the years I decided to make it complicated, and since I discovered your posts, I have simplified and amplified my garden. Thanks and praises. Gratitude. Sending light your way.

Hi, is the famous Doc around. I would love to hear more on how he cultivates the two headed dragons.
Also Doc - if you're around - I'm sorry if you have answered this already but I'm a little confused on your lighting. Do you use warm white on both cabinets?

I water every other day...
They are fed 4-droppers full of Schultz 10-15-10 ,
1 Tbsp. Fish Emultion, and
4 drops SuperThrive per Gallon of water everytime I water
My soil mix is Perlite,Vermiculite,Chicken Compost,local peat....from a Bog about 10 miles away,and good ol' worm poo.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can provide the ratios of this mix, such as 30% perlite, 10% vermiculite, ... then how much of the remaining compost, peat and worm casings.
Also, in the photos it appears there's an added layer of only perlite at bottom of each container.

As far as I'm aware of, Dr. Bud has never published ratios. We would all like to know this. I can tell you this after years of running a Dr Bud system. It needs to be airy enough to need watering at least once a day or you wont be able to deliver enough nutes to your girls. I have tried many mixes,including organic based with brewed teas, and finally settled on a coco/perlite mix 80/20ish...with House and Garden's Cocos A+B only. Their rooting stimulator works like crazy but only gets me into flower a couple days earlier as mine fill the dew bottle nicely on their own without stimulants, and its $$$ so i dont use it regularly here. I have had good success using KISS with this mix im my Dr Bud cab as well. The H&G runs taste a lil nicer when its cured out.....
