That is to many plants to flower in that room. You will either have to trim most of the growth off or you will get a huge amount of larf. You would be better off spreading them into two separate rooms and flipping.

I could be wrong but that is what it looks like to me.

I have them in a doughnut, well two really almost like a figure eight. All the walls have that grey fencing from bottom to top, all the way around. The flowering area you guys see is 5.5 ft. wide and 4 ft. deep, the ceiling is 8ft. I can move my access wall i built farther if i need to. I have a 600 hanging on top of a 400 both hps. The strains are deadhead og, HSO chemdawg, exodus kush, and dinachem. The others you can see are some fem accidents from another grow, and were flowered for emergency purposes. I'm not afraid to thin growth, and defoiliate, i usually don't until at least after week four, but whatever you guys say will work i will try.I've had lots of experience with the deadhead and exodus in flower so i can approximate whaat they will turn into, the others are new for me. Right now flowering a single strain is impossible due to numbers, i also need to have it purpetual harvest, that's the reason for plants in different stages.
A flip room would be perfect, except i would need to build another area for my mothers and vegger's. Along with the fact that i'm at maximum load now with the power and would have to run new lines, and money is too tight for that, so what you see is what i have to work with. A perpetual harvest is mandatory, to at least pay for the power usage, it's not my place. Well enough blabbering for now, feel free to ask anything i didn't mention that can help with ideas, thanks.

Here's some more pics from last night, i will never grow horizontially with a reflector again. The growth rate of vert bare bulb is unfuckwitable.... I planted some beans last night and my coco was a little chilly for my liking, so i rigged that up to warm the coco up some. The first single plant shot is dinachem, like three weeks in. The other single plant shot is LA Confidential X Acid it was an accident from another grow, and to me it looks like a good accident, sorry for the shitty pics, i have a shitty phone and no digital camera of any quality.

When/if you have the money to expand... Give us a shout. For another $200 I bet you could get 1 more room up and running. Nice plants.

Thanks guy's. Femora, they were hungry i had just fed them, i do it by hand, and keep a good eye out, i always have a couple black fingers from checking soil dampness. Bobble i have an adjoining room already set-up, and use it for mother's, and i have a 400 hps and 400 mh, the hps doesnt work right, i think the ignitor is shot, the mh is part of my mothers light source. The thing that's really stopping the flip is the lack of juice to the building. When it get's nice out i wanna run a couple 220 lines and make distribution boxes, and then the flip will be poppin', the thing is the wire run is almost 100 ft. and they don't exactly "give" 10 gauge wire away in my parts. Thanks for the compliment about the plants-i'm trying hard to get the environment perfect, the way my old spot was, then i'll have some really nice bugs-whoops i mean plants....

So, went last night and did some thinning, and tied up some branches. Can someone explain their process to do this, i thinned sparingly because i didn't wanna hurt my girls. I will take some pics tonight, so you guy's can see what they look like.

Here's some pics after the thinning, last night they got a good shot of food, and did a little more training. This whole sideway's canopy is a little bit more difficult than i expected, oh well, keep on trucking!!

Defoliation is an extreme marijuana growth technique. It's not to be done lightly.

I believe there is absolutely nothing stressful about defoliation or bending branches. Honestly, there is no way to achieve nearly a pound of buds from a 2-3 foot tall plant indoors, except using defoliation. From what I read...

what's most important is studying how the plant actually grows,*To get the best results, you should start defoliation in the vegetative stage.

Leaf removal in bud is beneficial after stretch but most important to yields is management and the creation of a more compact plant with more budding sites in a given size.*
Stripping and bending takes practice but you must do it to get practice. By starting in veg you risk no bud. Veg plants are replaceable so experiment and be ready to devote a little more time to prepare them.

But defoliation doesn't end in the vegetative stage. also continue to pull the fan leaves off of my flowering plants to expose the buds.
As far as when and how often, don't get too scientific about it.*
Usually if things look leafy, meaning that you see more leaf than budsites when viewing the crop, it may be time for another deleafing.

It usually takes a week to 10 days for a plant to releaf to the point that there are 2-4 new leaves that have flattened and greened enough to deleaf again.*This repeated releafing process allows that lower growth to benefit from the maturing of the immediate leaf mass.*

Leaf removal stimulates lower and mid bud growth by exposing those normally shaded out areas to premium light. Of course those new to the technique should start slow, but if you start too slow you won't remove enough leaf to see the best result.*You basically want to prevent any 'shade' from happening.

2cents...

ive gotta disagree with you there.

take a healthy plant and pull all leaves off at once and see what happens. that is an extreme example.
but if you take 50% of the leaves off then are you creating 50% of that stress?
i suggest being careful. most people suggest taking 10%-30% of leaves off at once : i would steer nearer the 10%
