Having a great time. I don't want this to ever end. No problem finding weed since I hooked up with some beach bums here. Been snorkeling, seen some turtles, been surfing and smoking a lot of herbs. Today I am going to rest.

One of the last times I was scuba diving I was surprised by a sea turtle coming up really close behind me. It was in Guam, and I guess this was a regular known resident turtle. I didn't find out until afterward, but I turned around and there was this HUGE fucking turtle right in front of my face, took up my whole view. It just ogled me with its one eye, circled me a couple of times, then slowly swam off into the coral. We just checked each other out for a while.

Sounds like a fun trip huligun. I suggest a disposable waterproof camera. I went to maui for the first time last fall and ended up getting one at abc. There was so much marine life when I was snorkeling I just snapped as many pictures. Once developed I had a really nice sea turtle pic inches under the water surface coming up for air. Blew it up & framed it once back home = )

I have been to the Big Island a couple times. I always look for and see the big ass turtles. They are curious creatures that always come up to you. Maybe they think you have food. It is always trippy as hell though, here you are looking at little fish, you see a shadow in your peripheral, turn some more and there is this large sun blocking mass within your comfort zone. Every time I am immediately spooked, followed by a warm sense of relief and amazement. They are beautiful things. Chasing, bothering or molesting one is like a $50k fine.

I usually shop at Snorkel Bobs in Hawaii. I have never gotten a web worthy photo underwater. Maybe I need some practice.

Snorkeling has to be the trippiest sport, form of recreation there is. You go into these animals home, high, and all these fishes come up to you to have a look. If you want to crank it up a few notches bring something to feed them (frowned upon by naturalist) and they swarm you. Be careful though, swarming fish means fish of all kinds and sizes around you. I have seen sharks and although I am not afraid of them, it is their home and anything can happen. That is part of the fun for me.

Oh, believe you me, I didn't try to touch it! I did wish I had the camera, though. We need another U/W rig. I have only flown through Hawaii (going to/from Guam), never actually visited, but I have a friend who has a large home on the Big Island specifically for scuba trips.

And some knowledge. Let me link you to a good friend's website. He's also an author, both book and magazine, and a well-known U/W photog, very good at what he does (he's been posting a lot of pix this past week of his trip to the Seychelles).

Have you ever snorkeled and gotten vertigo? It happened to me in Bali, the water was that clear. And then I saw a krait and got completely distracted, then remembered that, hey, if I puke, all the fish will come to visit! The fish don't come to check you out on those reefs because people don't feed them. In Guam, they come to check you out and some of them are a little demanding about their food. It's not sharks you've gotta worry about as often, it's fish like triggers, puffers, some kinds of snappers (their bites aren't so bad), and barracuda. A sea turtle can probably take your finger easily, if not part of your hand.

Wait, you're in an area with a lot of tiger sharks, aren't you...? I'd rather be diving, not snorkeling at the surface.

Just sayin'.

Never had any problems snorkeling outside of being freaked out by some of the fish. You only snorkel in like 10-15 meters so vertigo doesn't really sound like a problem.

Still having a great time. Have to come back Friday and I don't want to even think about it. Going way up north today. Spectacular sites there.

Right off the beach at Tulamben it's got some pretty good drop-offs, and the visibility of the water is just off the flipping hook. Between that and the God rays, I got vertigo.

You check out the U/W photog info? All you really need is light and a fat aperture.

jaja There are girls everywhere, Everywhere, and they are all exposing their kulos. It is just like Brazil. I have been tempted, of course I am a man, but I would never take a photo of one of those ladies and disgrace them on the internet or alienate our female members. It's a family site :cathug:The girls go to Hawaii to cut loose and what happens there should stay there.

I see a lot of couples when it comes to tourist. I have met a few ladies with the friends I met here, but honestly nobody would I take home to mother. This trip is all about forgetting the rain in Seattle and the fucking yuppies or whatever they are now.

I got some sativa leaving hybrid buds to smoke, half an ounce for $150. (It looked a little light in the bag btw). It has a goldish colour and airy buds. It seems to be a fun uplifting kind of high, a good daytime smoke. That is my preference btw, because of where and when I grew up. I am not going to show how gullible I am and tell you what they call it. The name they used for it has been dead for 20 years. I will take a picture of it when I am in private (in lobby now).

Thanks everyone for joining in. Going back home tomorrow and it hits my gut hard. I have to find a way to move my game here.

Back home, had a horrible fly day... missed my connection and had to spend the day at the San Francisco airport. I like the city, but hate airports.

I woke up in a weird mood. Think I am going to drive into the mountains today, see some snow and waterfalls

Vacation let-down. When I was a kid I would cry my eyes out on the flight home from Puerto Rico. Every fucking time. I still do it.

Yes I feel it every time. When I was in Panama in September I met a girl too, and that made it worse. She was a Colombiana and wanted to come to the USA more than life. (She was in Panama to find her way out of the messes in Colombia).

I went far east in Washington. Never been here before. It was great fun and much different than how I spend my last week.

I got a couple drink in this bar. Anyone know anything about this bar? jaja I bet some do.

I may have paid too much, but I scored away from home and that is something there. And these people, so poor, I don't feel bad about the price. I was on vacations.

Here are some pictures from this weekends. I just have cell phone, no camera.
