Yes, those Craigslist deals are incredible. Check the ads in the ATL if you want a laugh.

If you go to California you need to bring your "A" game, because the place attracts the best of the best, and the worst of the worst.

I just want to be somewhere where I can grow and not fear for my freedom. I grow great weed. I have some unique crosses that i'm working right now.

My wife has said that she will leave me unless I quite growing in my current local. May need to pack up my clones and go.

Maybe I'll head to Cali to give it one more shot? Or my old hometown Denver...

If I don't make this go a success, I'll probably just off myself. I'm too old. I gotta make it now or never.

What were we talking about?

Yeah, We got weather...!!! Beyond Perfect almost every day, IMHO. Even when it rains, the Edible Mushrooms come out..!! Yum.

Stay Safe Robert. We need You..!! Go wherever You need in order for that to happen.

Sometimes I forget about the freedom thing.

Just a sobering FYI:
Even in Pot-Central, if one is considered a 'nuisance' for any reason, or not well-liked in a neighborhood (possibly through no fault of Your Own), One Call is all it takes.. LEO can ruin your day, your run, your equipment, or your finances. It is all such a balancing act regardless of where One Grows.

Quick Story: I have had to move out from a house (with a sealed room in the garage, and a Great Mom room in the back bathroom) because of a nosy neighbor who was an old family in the area. Watch out for long-Time Crackpot Locals.
Same House 20 years. Him... NutBag Redneck raving against Al Gore and Devil Worshippers the first time I met Him.... (WTF ?)

I knew it wasn't gonna go so well, when into the 4th year, He started asking questions about what sort of ballasts I was running because His Homemade Radio Station was not running correctly.. And He suspected my Grow as the culprit. My ballasts at the time were Electric. No harm to Radio Waves.

It was my Next-Door Neighbor with 6 or more digis going, which DOES affect Radio Waves nearby. But He was sure it was me. I wasn;t gonna argue with Him, or allow him to see my Operation. I did not want to admit anything at all..!

Ended up deciding the House was not safe anymore. After 4.5 years with the Landlord an absentee, and He had NEVER even set foot in the house that whole time.. I Paid rent on time each month and fixed minor issues myself. Not Bothering Him. The House was considerably more expensive than it was worth (1700 a month rent). But regardless, How sad to have had to give that up. I know I did the right thing. The Market went alley-oop and I would not have been able to afford that home.

It can be a great lifestyle if Ya get lucky, and do good work. But, things are considerably tougher now than 5 years ago, Fo SHO.

It ain't all C-Notes raining from the sky and Hippie Girls with Titties hanging out...!

I had a friend who moved to cali from NY she got sick of everyone's fake attitude. Apparently if you do something to piss someone off in cali they wont say something they will just look at you funny.
i have also been told that everyone thinks they are better then everyone else.
these two things alone make seem like a shitty atmosphere

California Census 2012, (37,253,956) people. You will find some good and bad, White, Colombian, Black, Mexican, Russian, you name it. You have rich and poor in all those variations. You have people that live in the hills, desert, cities and the beach. If you cannot find the right crowd for you then you are hopeless. You cannot say that everyone in Cali thinks the same way. It has a lot of weed snobs, I will agree, but not everyone is the same.

I actually appreciate people talking poorly about the state, we already have too many idiots.

Hahaha... Had some difficulties within the Body I inhabit. I am back - EDIT: But still - You guys can't handle the truth.. This place is dust. Most Every one is out to save their properties. All else be damned. People are starting to chew on each other.

Once the Summer Tourism is over just watch. Already the commercial vacancies are dominating.

Black Market or no Market. Period.

Nothing like it was a few years ago, when good work was truly rewarded in the 707. It was mellow here - now it is a mad rush to fill your porperties with peoplFind the Rich Folks and go Underground. The only option, right..

If she went to Hollywood, Melrose or Beverly Hills, absolute truth. Damn near anywhere else? Come on, mang... Oh, I forgot Danville. I don't think I've ever run across an UNfriendlier crowd than I have in Danville.

I'm sitting here thinking about some of the folks I have known out Pioneertown way (high desert). Missing teeth, wind-swept hair, shorts, sandals and t-shirts--these people do *not* think they're better than anyone else. Salt of the earth types, they are. Same thing out here, mountain mommas and city jacks all get along the same-same.

Otherwise, this state is just too huge and our population to varied to really be able to say "California is this, California is that." You have to go with regions and you will see huge socio-political differences between the citified areas on the coast and the rest of the state. EG, the city folk generally voted down Proposition 8, but the rest of the state overwhelmingly passed it.

Thank you, huli! Mucha gracia, senor (I can never remember how to get the tilda over the n).

Hahaha... Say what You want Huligun.. In This area... There is a marked difference in Most People's responses to any sort of Interpersonal Issue compared to SOME other places I have lived. I'd say GROD got it right. It is considered Outlandish to want to discuss anything with an even tone.. One is expected to internalize everything, for sake of the Useless and easily-avoidable Drama that inevitably comes down later.. Due to Bottling in feelings.

This all does not generally apply to people in San Francisco - but it certainly can. There is a MUCH higher degree of sophistication regarding dealing with Each other in the City. It can be dog-eat-dog, but it's not impossible to find Folks to be with.

Yeah, Hu...! Thanks for calling People Hopeless, if they have an opinion that differs from You Own...! That was super-friendly in itself, and so Human - the statement acting as a validation of the original premise..! You're On Your Own, Baby..!!

Just Have One Problem with most "locals", even a small one, and it's usually bye-bye. Nothing said, no energy put towards repairing the Bridge. It is called being Human. It;s never perfect. We need to work together..! Ignoring at the first sign of discord, forever...? Finding it almost like lifting a 1000ton rock to say "I'm Sorry..?" Yup. Amongst the Plebes, that's whatcha get.

That's no way to carry on with People.

Unless there is some sort of Power/Money/Living-Situation Leverage, You can forget getting anywhere with Most Folks in these parts. Especially, in these times of Foreclosure, and NO Work. And I personally am tired of operating with Passive-Aggressive Teenagers that range from 14-77 yrs old. Number of years Spent on Earth means nothing amongst the Uneducated Rabble.

Most Local Folks never "Grow Up Emotionally" in this, The Wild West Dope Land in a State of Decline. And for you - to function here - Better remember, "When in Rome.... " You have to match the Objectionableness or stand out as an Outsider, and/or one to be taken advantage of.

My Favorite is the Bragging about How long One has lived in an area (their whole life) and How "Local" they are.. They are barely making it, no work, on various sorts of gov't assistance, in a shack that their family left them, or even a nice home they cannot afford, at all, trying to scam all and sundry every time in any possible transaction from aluminum foil to a space for their RV on the property, or meth and beyond. Self-admitted "Loners," who when Put anywhere else, they have no idea how to behave. Grown Men and Women. All they have is their ancestral Home. And others to gossip about. They are TERRIFIED of being out of town. As for San Francisco, no reason to go there ever.

Try to talk about your Full Life of Travels worldwide, and watch faces that have barely sojourned 200 miles away. Looking at you as if you are speaking Magyar. Can't get the Fifth-Wheel, the six-pack and the TV to Paris.. Why go..?

THEN there are the Trust Fund Babies, and those lucky enough to receive inheritances - they open businesses, and become the backbone of the community. Lucky, Good for them. They do not need to deal with the rabble.

I'm doing You a favor: Here You go " The Magic Adage " Either have Leverage, or forget success. Unless One runs a completely Solo op. Which after a few years gets a bit strange. Been there.

Having said that, I just took a drive from the top of the geographical area to the bottom, where they both ways go inland - and I can say this is fantasy land. Yup, fantasyland if You think you can come out here with little resources and no connections and make it work.. UNLESS you have female Gentalia. Then You are in, but You may not like the Exchange... Ask my Friend "R" (one of the Cuter Women around here, and still nice) about the Trim session with 4 men... "Here, Just put on this Bikini we bought for you..!" Of Course She refused.... And......

Oh and Yes, there was two instances of people following me close (within one foot) at 60+ mph on 2 lane Hwy 1, no one else for miles.. Way into the countryside on the Coast. Creating a VERY unsafe situation. For what..? Anger Management skills non-existent.

Who knows.. I was minding my own in a non-descript small car and a surfboard on top. I know the road quite well and was rallying a bit. Why this makes someone decide to tailgate is beyond me. No turnouts available, not much One can do but wait.. The moon's effects are funny in this land of Children, I guess. Mass weirdness on a grand scale, seemingly unexplainable.. I see it often. Very Pronounced today. Perhaps people who were working on the nicest day of the year upset that I had the freedom to go surf..? Maybe.. How F'in dysfunctional is that..?

I am going to find my own place again - and drum up some appreciative Folks from the Bay Area, with Heart. Teach what I know, enjoy some fun evenings of music and song. Not necessarily a commune, but a safe place for thoughtful and creative People amongst the Rednecks. Maybe we can drown out all the dark energy associated with the Cannabis trade of late, in conjunction with Folks faltering Financial situations.

Tellin' it Like I sees it in the Tri... 'Nuff said - Good Luck Out there. Watch Your Ass. Entry #98888 - 887654578 to come..

WTF???

Just curious

Just curious

I've been reading some of the state threads, and I've got a nagging Q...

How do you move/sell, the huge volumes that I read are being grown in Cali? I understand the 99 plant thing and all that. But how do you sell that many POUNDS, without attracting some 'unwanted' attention?

Or is the there no attention paid in Cali? All legal now?

If this is asking TMI, please ignor the Q.
