ECSD x SFV OG bx1

oh btw the camera i used and the ambient light in the room cause the picture to come out a little funky as u can tell the color of the leaves and shit.. Obviously the plant doesnt look like that its like the reflection of the leaves.. maybe the gloss from the silica ive been using cause that reflection to happen .. so just a heads up. Freaked me out when i looked at the pictures when i saw them on the computer. im like what the fuck is going. on lol
hey out of curiousity. this is one of my first runs of the sour og or whatever you want to call it.. any sort of useful information i could use.. maybe as far as when do you think the plant should yellow off or when should i start letting the plant use up excess nutrient. not flush.. like im gonna start COMPLETELY stopping any sort of nitrogen in the feed mix.. and im using H&G full line which is amazing btw.. and im about to start using the Top Booster. which is literally in simple terms. tells the plant that it needs to basically use up what its got that its coming to the end of its life cycle which literally starts yellow the plant and "killing it off" then the week after i shall be using the Shooting Powder not 100% sure that i want to use it.. I hear its super potent stuff and i dont really want foxtails.. So maybe ill subsitute it for Dry/Powder Kool Bloom.. Well see when i get to next week how i feel or whatever.. But im roughly in the 5 week of 12/12 4 week actual flowering.. So just gonna feel out the situation.. Not sure really about flowering time on this Bitch.. Im assuming ill let her go 9 weeks maybe 10 .. I hear she really adds a lot of weight those last few weeks.. Im in no rush to harvest.. So if i see she got some more juice left in her ill let her do her thing and go 75 days.. Anyway.. any info or tips anyone has Please feel free to let me know. Thanks so much

Just wanted to ask some of you guys about flowering time in a SFV OG x Deez (original sour diesel , cali connection I believe) is one of them I'm running besides. A Coastal Collion f2 that ra2 made from Meltys So any Info is super helpful

Hey bro
I'd plan on 75 days minimum, dropping N around 55 days.
Any SourDiesel phenos can take extra N and Mag before that 55 day point. They can easily slip into the "ugly zone" if not adjusted.
I think the extra Mag will go over well with all of them, and like I said the Diesels will let ya know when they need a good dose of N, it happens all so goddamn fast!

It may be mentioned already but I didn't read through the whole thread,what was in the OG BX used in the strain? I'm curious because there are a lot people doing breeding work with OG hybrids and BX's as males to pass on OG genes. I notice a lot of what I see doesn't seem OG dominat to me,but in your coastal collision I can see the OG influence a lot as well as the ECSD. Killer!
I'm also working on a number of BX projects including some with OG,so just curious what you used to get the OG BX and keep OG dominant traits.

The male was found in a pack of CaptCrip's SFVbx1. Capt's claim at the time was that his findings, from 100+ seeds, was that the Afghan male originally used only showed his face in 15-20% of the progeny. He said he was happy enough with the BX1's showings that he didn't feel it needed further work. It produced good OGKush.
I had some good pics of both the male and the original Coastal Collision harvest, but I went and deleted those albums. Dummy!
The only shot I have of the Bx1 is of a special OG lady I also found in the pack.

I've been dying to get a good run of the CC for a long time and finally pulled the trigger and got it done. Obviously ill be posting up the progrss in here. So i def see a slight mg/cal def. of course though. Friiggin mag/cal whores. They suck that shit up by the tons man. So I'm gonna def hit em with some more and maybe a little N to get em thru to the end. And then like you said. Ill cut the N out completely. By the end of next week. I'm actually Gonna hit them with Top Booster next feeding. But if they got a lot more time to go then maybe ill wait another week brfore I hit em with the TB because it basically tells the plant that its coming to the end of its life and starts yellowing them and I don't wanna have that happen way to early so now I gotta figure out how long they will go and when to hit them with it. I was thinking it will be like a 9-10 week'er. So I gotta change the feed schedule a little. Following H&G's regimen to a tee. But this is why I love this thread. I could find all the info I ever need in here so thank you very much for that. Ill post up some pics and you tell me what you think

I think I'm going to start the flush next time they need to be watered. They are roughly 55 days 12/12. But ill be honest I think they are probably a little less than 55 days. Cause they took a little while from flip to 12/12 to start showing first signs of flowers and also some timer and light issues in the beginning. So I'm not 100% sure if they are really at 55 days. They really only Just started to swell like this week And as u can see they def dont look close to ready they need at least another 2-3 weeks FOR sure. I was planning on taking them as far as I can. My goal was aiming at 75 Days. I know these sour OG strains could really pack on a lot of weight during these final few weeks am I just don't want to start flushin to early and have them wanting more food. So maybe ill just do like an actual flush and just top off with some nutrients. Just to ensure that they could start yellowing out a little they seem Way to green for 55 days No? Am I wrong. Any ideas from what you guys can see in the shitty pictures? Melty help me out here Brotha lol

Thanks Melty I really appreciate those kind words man. Yeah I just was killing myself stressing out about it. Just wanna leave myself some time to flush em out a little. Not drown them in water but just so they can have some time to get rid of that N still in them. Cause to me they don't even look like they are nearly done. So def think ill feed for another week and then start the flush. Those pistols still sticking out like that and still a lot of white. They def swelling now though so don't want to flush to early and deprive them of nutrients at this stage def not. All I want is some quality dank. If you told me I have 5 weeks to go id be fine with it lol. Just as long as they reach there full potential Finally got my camera back so hopefully I still know how to use this thing and take some nice pictures

No NO Def have clones of each one them there is 2 seperate phenos as far as i can tell. One more Og ish and one more mix.. But i made sure to have rooted clones before i go ahead and flower the mother. orginally it wasnt planned to flower mother.. But i said whatever.. lets see the charecteristics. so when its time to flower clones. I would already be familiar... so yeah i always make sure to clone every strain.. grown.. JUST IN CASE!... I LEARNED my lesson when i had the original C99 from brothers grimm that was clone only that i got from a friend that got it from a friend of a friend.. it was def one of the sickest plants and bud ive ever been introduced to.. It was like no one believed it was real. Lol . so i said always take cuttings and make sure you have the strain kept just in case its so ridiculous unheard of special one.. lol
Truth is man. I've been wanting to get some sour OG type of run going since legit the first time I saw your cross Melty that Chaco grew out. I said I gotta get me some of that. And I got like 2-3 beans of your cross and just didnt work out. So I'm glad I can enjoy some of it finally somewhat. Really looks amazing. Just seeing these calyxs swell up. Is beautiful. Just a few more weeks. And we good. Trim before or after ?lol. So annoying

well after good 5 months of curing of my greenhouse buds.. i thought i should provide some kind of smoke report.. not because i like to write smoke reports but because i like coastal collision so much
i give it 10 out of 10 in almost every aspect of it except ceiling cause you get some tolerance after gluttonus smoking it.. ah! i cant get enough of that sour lemon taste.. im too weak not to roll joints of cc over and over.. effect is very heady first half an hour.. up and very positive, even inspiring, and bit narcotic, but still very functional.. dynamic and very funky with nice body i would say..
after initial high things get more settled.. intense body high, relaxing too.. you feel like you and everything, universe is very friendly, soft and warm.. effect goes stronger and stronger.. if i smoke too much, it can be devastating lol it lasts quite long too.. longer than diesel, sure.. i chopped it at 58 days of darkening or so.. and still i got AAA buds.. while with diesel i have to wait 80+ days.. this herb kicks ass of any dutch lemon skunk, no competition... thank ya MP that you shared seeds with radva, thank ya radva for cuts
