Hey thanks for the reply man! I appreciate the advice. I will check out that other thread on hydro research for sure. What made me go GH was rezdog and head's threads, so a tad late for this time but maybe next or something. I'm new to coco so just getting it to look like your guys' is #1, at least for now then I can experiment more.

You meant 100g, not mg right?

Oh you meant the adjustable drip stakes .... yeah they work great but ya need a pretty strong pump to get the spray pattern from them . my 264gph didn't have the push power so i went with the basket type & they work great with my pumps .
I believe thirdcoast is using them ... if he is ... maybe we can get him to chime in how they work ....... 3rd ????

Thanx B00m , Matt , milkweeds & everybody for lookin in on my little grow !! all the kind words are greatly appreciated !!!

a small update .....
The slabs are just about ready to harvest & i've got my 12 Brainfreeze clones all ready to go on the slabs after i clean everything up first . I tooped them all once to get them all the same height going in & hoping for an even canopy this time even though theres 2 pheno's of the BF going in & one of them seems to grow a touch shorter & greener.

also got the Laughing tigers transplanted into their 3 gallon smart pots tonight . they have about a month before they go in .... so i have some time to train them wider so they don't get crazy tall on me . i'll give them a few days to get over the transplant shock .. then i'll start tying branches down .

Took the last 2 moms out of the veg room so the tigers have all the light to themselves .... cranked that up to 600 too today . (was set on 400 till i tested the temps )
put 3 drip stakes per pot .... should be good with 3 but i can add more if needed for a good spread .

DSCF0341_zps3f723cc4.jpg

Today 2/7/13 is day one of 12/12 for 12 Brainfreeze clones on canna coco slabs .

got the room & Tray cleaned up ... including the rez & all the lines & drippers . gave the slabs a good flush of 1.0 EC nutes & zymes & then put the 12 BF girls in thier new home .

DSCF0345_zpse60ccc91.jpg

got the tray up off the floor this time so the girls are closer to the lights & i could put my drip pan under the tray .... makes it soooo much easier to drain & keep clean .

& lastly ... a shitty orange side pic of the left side of the room .

the 5 pic limit sux ... so we're on to the next page . just some small LT's in 3 1/2" nursery pots with a few Biesels to go on the slabs in about 3 weeks . these are going to have to be scrogged even just grown from clone with a 2 week veg ... cuz they stretch like nobodys business !!!

Moms on the left side (future bonzai moms ) blue satelite 2.2's & a double bubble in the middle & my 4 out of 5 new cuts i recieved recently on the right side in 2 gallon pots .
skunk47 . moby dick , chamelion kush & purple chem .... the 5th is the sour powers i have on the upper shelf . the mom got chopped cuz she was to big to bonzai . so i'll replace her with one of the clones . the 4 others were transplanted into 2 gallon pots to veg for awhile then they'll get flowered after i get a couple cuts .

I did make one decision today ...... the 4 big LT's are staying in the 4 x 4 room to flower out !!! i'll leave the MH bulb in untill the stretch is over in flowering , then i'll swap it out for a Hortilix red .

The tomato cages are in .... i'll let them fill out a bit more ... then its time to flip the switch !! gonna be nice to get an extra run in before summer .... maybe 2 :)

Dan I been thinking about setting up some res feeders in my gardens. Your set up seems to work quite well. How about a brief run down of your set up so I can have an idea of what works. I know I could do some searching and find something but I trust you opinion.

I just use the rubbermaid 18 gallon totes , but i put them in the stronger parts containers so the sides don't bulge out to much when full .

DSCF0406_zpsb4deaf5d.jpg

i use a 264gph pump in each rez with a 1/2" poly line to each tray with a shutoff before it hits the tray (for maintance ) & 1/4" drip lines off the 1/2 " with basket drippers in each pot .The 1/2 poly line in the tray is set up as a loop so the pump strength is equal at all 1/4" line .
the 264 pumps aren't strong enough to give a good spray pattern with the basket drippers ... so i'm trying a 369 on the tray with the 4 LT's in it cuz i have 3 drip stakes per pot on the 3 gallon smarties . in the 2 gallon pots ... 2 drip stakes is plenty .

i feed starting at 1st week of flower for 1 minute every day or whatever it takes to get runoff , when i stop getting runoff ... i add another 1 minute feed to the timer . then once that stops giving me runoff ... I add another minute again . so i feed for a minute at 7pm 8 pm & again at 9pm .... have never needed so far to give them more than 3 feed times .
on the slabs cuz the pots are so small & over flow easily on 1 minute feeds i feed them in 30 second intervals . i got up to 4 30 second feeds on the last run & always had runoff & no drying out of the coco .
most of the drip lines & fittings can be had at Lowe's ... they have a Mister Landscaper section that has any fitting & line you could need . heres a link ....http://www.lowes.com/Search=mister+...0051&N=0&newSearch=true&Ntt=mister+landscaper

Off the 1/2" line i put about 8 - 1/4" emitters with a short line & a T at the end so i can run 2 drip lines off one emitter in the 1/2" .8 lines with T's will give me 16 1/4" drippers ... but you can put as many or as few as ya want in the 1/2" line . the ones i don't use ... i just put a loop on the T .

here ya can see the 1/2" line around the tray with the short 1/4" lines with the T's
DSC01323.jpg

bottom left corner of the tray you can see a loop on a line i'm not using

DSCF0315_zpscf980402.jpg

the 1/2" loop for the slabs i made much shorter in the tray .... i just went in between the slabs , didn't need it all the way around the tray . plus this pick shows the drip baskets i use .

i hope this makes sense to you guys ... if not ... ask & i'll clear anything up for ya's
