Well, today is my birthday. I had to face the depressing reality that I am now 51 years old and I am no longer a young man. I took Mrs. MPD to a nice lunch and we had a great time together. It was cold and blowing rain so now we are home where it is warm and we are curled up in our chairs in the den watching the news, reading and enjoying each other's company. She took off from work Friday at lunch and is spending all day with me today so it has been like a mini-vacation for us.

When was the last time you did something like that with your significant other?

I joined about 10 years ago because I have suffered from severe migraine headaches on a daily basis and I am an addict so I couldn't take opiate pain relievers. So I had to learn to grow my meds and use them to help me manage the pain in my life. I have a wife, 6 kids and 11 grandkids. That's me. What say you?

right on man, that is what MMJ is all about... migraines suck, I only get a few a year and that is more than enough for me. question... do you happen to eat hash or use tincture? I hear that this has great results and actually works better when taken to prevent migraines as opposed to try and stop a migraine that has already started to come on.

I originally joined here in '09 after making some purchases from the boo just to get info on the strains I had bought... and stayed for all the great grow knowledge, info and peeps. I have moderate to severe insomnia and have for as long as I can remember, I also suffer from restless leg syndrome both of which I found completely go away with the regular use of cannabis... not to mention the normal aches and pains of being rough with my body from my teen years... broken bones, sprained joints etc
