they do have a rechargable battery inside. I can't say for sure they keep settings for years, but I can say 100% for sure they keep them for months.

I'm using this model, it's available from multiple brands, and as OEM:

grow lights from sweden we had...

here is finland & denmark

do you have pricing and warranty info for those models?

the semantic fl300 is powerful, but runs of 220V. most growers i know use 110V. those really are geared towards greenhouses.

these seem interesting. 24" - 70", 55W to 192W ;) can be used vertically ;)

my goal is to use 4 ~200W units to cover a 4x4 square of either scrog or sog. i honestly think scrog is one of the most important techniques to use while growing with LED. we all know LED are awesome at what they do but one thing they lack in is deep penetration with the smaller units imho. they may not be too far behind smaller HPS and MH. i keep losing my train of thought.....super baked. my head is swirling...ok back on topic. SCROG when properly executed and defoliated would create an optimal depth to use LED on. im new to proper scrogging. ive been doing it half assed for a long time and a dispensary buddy has finally shown me the light lol. i think it is gonna help me out a ton.

long story short, i want to do a bigger LED grow lol. fuck i am really stoned and my right eye has been twitching off and on for 5 days now. WTF

Lack of penetration is just another broad brush led myth. I had really nice lower buds under ~ 80 w (see my journal for pics). You want the real 411, read the DIY LED threads

How's this......
I have a buddy that grows bubba trees under 2k of hps.
That being said, it is obvious that the top foot of his plants produce far better than the next foot and the next.

Ya, I'm not growing 3' trees, but I do grow plants that are 18" to 24" and produce 8" to 12" budsicles, all on < 35 watts a sq ft.

Also when growing trees, it looks to me like, the bottom 1/3 of the plant is a waste.

I'm gonna wait a little bit longer to make a decision on what to buy. see what happens with the prices with the new evo v4 when they come out. and see what happens with other lights as well.

peace

looks like those new evo v4's are out. i don't know for how long. been out of touch for a few months.

if i can find a good retail site i will add them to my pdfs...

I am going to set a precedent here. If you want a light added to the list, you need to provide links to the light or something.

Just putting this in the thread does nothing without information.

oneshot, are you familiar with google? haha I agree though, precedent set. if it was hard to find at all I would have included a link. also since there are PG in the chart already figured GP knew what I was saying. apologies to the thread police

if i can google i don't mind, but links would be nice.

i can never keep up with the current set of rules around here. is it okay to post links now?

It's not the thread police but I just think it would be easier for GP if he didn't have to go digging. I mean you already know the light is out so you must have info on it, so just post it up ya know?

Makes things easier
