nice to read that you guys are enjoying my attempt to share some of my trip and our event with those that couldn't be there. not that Amsterdam needs any spam by me, i do wonder what will happen in our beloved city of Amsterdam in the coming months and years. after all these many many years, it's looking more and more like an era is coming to an end. all the more reason to leave some reports on what things were like around for future generations to read, lol. this way they will know not everyone in 2012 on planet earth was a self opinionated moron with a 2 by 4 stuck up his ass. some of us know the gifts inherent in the cannabis sativa species and make full use of this queen of crops.
anyway, i do want to jump to some other people as well, like my good friend mosca negra, he also most kindly contributed to our cup with his GreapFruit Fly no 3, the OT Bubblegum no 5, the Lemon HP no 01 and his Blue Fin no 6. i can tell you one thing i noticed with Mosca's bud, every time i got one of his entries in my hands to pack up, it had a really wonderful powerful smell. a lot of stuff had a powerful aroma, but mosca's was strong amongst the strong lol. but i have to say i specially loved the OT Bubblegum and the BuleFin, was also really sweet of him to sort me out some of his C99 Bx and the Grapefruit Fly seeds to try. i'm really looking forward to growing some out. may just grow a few plants from each strain to bud without taking clones, want me some c99 to smoke asap lol. anyway, would have like to talk more with Mosca, but that was my fault, i wanted to talk more with quite a few people and in the end the time was up and folks were slowly heading off to various corners of our planet.
speaking of seeds i did get quite a few additions to my no longer so meager collection, as well as the c99 bx and the GF Fly, i got some Sour Star and Sour Pink Grapefruit from my old friend Hortilab. House of Love seeds was passing out the love in the form of the Sugar Cane Train and the Chronic Chemdog. then as mentioned above some where there was the Dr. Pentathol crosses, SourD x AgentOrange, NY6/Haze x AgentOrange, Sonic Fly x Agent Orange and Chees x Agent Orange. i'm thinking of just flowering out a bunch of stuff. if i try and keep clones of every female, i'll never grow some of these many seed out before their best before date
the over all generosity of the ic mag crew was quite incredible. i noticed at one point one of the tables in the gh ended up leaving the waitress 20 euros on top of a 70 euro bill over a few hours. i only found this out, because i happened to be the last leaving that table and ended up having to turn the pile of money left behind by folks as they left over to the waitress, while adding my milkshake, 2 cappuccinos and a water to the calculations, hehe.
check out some of the bud i brought along for the trip, i always try and do this as it saves my throat from too much coffee shop (unflushed) bud, also allows you to share what you are growing with everyone else and get their feed back.also got slightly over 4 g of fmcd bubble over to share. in the end i really ended up sharing most of that out, as my throat was quickly being over whelmed by the unflushed bud and the sheer amount of smoking, specially as i hadn't quite finished kicking off my cold before i arrived. oh well, the bubble was to share anyway and there was so much hash around to smoke that mine was just like a few drops on a hot stone hehe. lots of hungry hash throats at these events lol, although this year the dabbers was getting more prominence with their glass nails and blow torches (chefs torch) mind you there were many more bongs and pipes around then oil smoking setups. i know rasras made a deal for an oil rig to take back home, seems everyone wants an oil rig now. the whole bho fad is making me feel old lol. just messing around a bit hehe.
anyway i think it's time for a nice cup a Barley cup courtesy of my good mate truecannabliss, thanks my friend, just what i need for a nice hot drink after midnight. haven't had that stuff in 20 odd years, hehe. in my day it was sold in tins and it was in fine powder form, not nice and freeze dried like now. cheers man, loved your smoke, if only i could be testing some of those fine strains now in peace and quite, above all slowly LOL. i know i did enjoy the Chemy Jones as well as the GranDadyPurps, i'd have to check my score sheet to see about the others. but the ones we smoked at Ed's place were spot on tasty and strong. just what the doctor ordered after a 2 hour flight, hehe.
i'm really considering going again in November, just to be sure to go once more before it all changes.

i felt a bit more gutted when i heard that bill went through that i didnt get over there the otherday,, i thought it wasnt happening till later this year,, the bill i mean,, europes splitting up alot, seems like countries will be on their own currencies again and who knows what the future holds so i think this bs might die over the next few years one way or another

I couldn't agree more... this was my first time in the dam with the CSG crew + the first experience of a cup. this was by far the best trip to amsterdam to date. apart from meeting great people with fantastic growing talents, there was generally a good vibe amongst the crowd.
It felt inclusive and very relaxed, I am looking forward to next year, I am also hoping to attend the high times cup this year + enjoy good company in the surroundings of a liberal amsterdam where you are not always looking over your shoulder and watching what you say to whom.

well here we are, it's 2013 and the weedpass has been discarded to the dustbin of history, thank god! not that we are out of the woods yet, the fascists are attacking on other fronts now with the thc levels. but for this year we can still go to coffee shops as tourists in Amsterdam. let's hope this years 420 is just as fun as last year.
btw Hortibab, that stuff i had with my was from the afghan diesel, at that point i didnt cross it to the SourAmnesia yet. the cross is better then the original, just harvested a whole bunch of it grown from seed and the Sour Amnesia has really spiced the Afghan diesel up
