I am not a fan of commercials, but this one was done very well and methodically. They definitely captured emotion very well and communicate that. It immediately made me think of my dog. You can't beat that level of trust, respect, commitment, and camradery. Its the best. Thanks for sharing! I fucking love animals.

All of you, hand in your Man cards. ;)

I remember the first time I stood next to a Clydesdale, and my only thought was, "How the fuck do you halter this thing?" Arabs are a hell of a lot easier to figure out.
 easy used to harness two to a sled to work in very hilly country, to steep for tracter safety when i was about 16, going down hill with a load of fence posts on was a learning experience, first time looking at there big very big hooves was a bit scary at first,ya big beutiful beasts.

Did anyone else see "Budweiser" and not watch or is my youtube just slow enough on the draw for my conscience to get the better of me??

I have a strong affinity for Clydesdales... was it sad or so damn funny you cried?

The suspense won't draw me to watch it but it may become unbearable.

PS I cried when I watched Marley and Me... maybe I shouldn't do this...

I used to get a closeup look @ the Budweiser Clydesdale's when they toured NYC. They stabled them in Scarsdale @ the Boulder Brook Stables, my friend Wendy worked there and shared the experience of letting me & my gf feed them some carrots a couple of times.

btw, like spoiled kids they'd make a little fuss waiting their turn for carrots, they were stabled in the same barn but just one to a stall, they whinnied and/or stomped their hooves a bit.

I'm sure had I gotten to know them I'd detect individual personality trait differences defining each of them, it's easy to see how bonds develop.

So, what do you do, teach them to put their heads down so you can halter 'em up? At the withers they're almost double my height, no joke. Must be much calmer than an Arab, though, I'm sure. I've always wanted to learn how to train horses for driving and work, but was scared off seeing so many buggy accidents at horse shows.

I cried when I watched A Cry In The Dark. I'll totally cop to that.

I admit getting teary the first time I saw it. But then when I thought about the reality that it's just fucking advertising, marketing a shitty ass brand of swill and not at based all reality either and that the ad was just designed just as a tearjerker with the intent to link your emotions to that shit. How many big ass horses are going to escape professional horse handlers and seek out the man who raised him for a hug? Putting human traits on an animal just to market your brand? That's pretty low. Then I became offended and instead of wanting to buy Bud shit, I'll buy Youngling (sp?) which I like a lot better anyway, but the point being their ad is having just the opposite of their desired effect, on me anyway. I lived in Germany for awhile and the German everyday cheap beer is far and away much better than that Bud swill. Not even close.

They just did a 'Fridge Worthy' beer poll:

Coors Light came in 1st.

Budweiser was dead last.

I loved the original tan can Coors from the 70s/80s & I've drunk/drank ungodly amounts of Budweiser over the years but really quit over 20 years ago. Some years I probably don't drink any beer at all and others I might enjoy a few beers over the summer never totaling more than a six pack or so.
