Want some input before I make a purchase from attitude. Live in Connecticut so fall CaN get cold and wet. What's everyone input on the following strains outside in my area?

Reserva privada-purple og,purple wreck,sour kush aka headband
Emerald triangle- blueberry headband, super sour og,cherry og
Humboldt- pineapple chunk, blue dream

Any input or experience in this area or climate would be great thanks!

Hey bro, I personally wouldn't use any of those genetics you listen, those are mostly indoor genetics and won't have the mold resistance that you need to finish in our weather.

Look into Hybrids from Hell gear, those were bred to finish in northern latitude and have high mold resistance, they might not be as strong, or overhyped named strains like those, but they will definitely be able to finish early in season and resist well to mold. They are also very affordable!

Another strain that I had great success also is LouDog's creation, Sour Bubble x Casey Jones IX1, there are still a few packs on seedbay for cheap! I think it's $25 for 12-20 seeds

It's depressing when you put so much time and labor into the girls just to see them rot away at the end of the season, when its cold and wet and you end up with very little smokable herb!

There's also another thread going on about mold resistant strains, maybe check it out and see what other people suggest!

I hope that helps a bit! Best of luck on your selection and on next year's od!

Unfortunately I'm limited to buying off attitude only. Anything on there worth a try? Would the strains I listed finish too late or is it a hardiness problem?

I'm from NE area, and at the end of the season can get pretty shitty around here!

From those strains I only have experience with Sour Kush, and I personally wouldnt run it outdoors...

Look into the strain descriptions and search for something that is mold resistant and finishes earlier.I think the Emerald BLueberry Headhand seems to be like that. That's the best I could tell you, or figure a way to get seeds from seedbay, it's pretty easy and simple and reliable source!

Ghs Trainwreck ... Ghs white widow ... Dutch passion Durban poison ... Blueberry ... Kc brains gear ... Jack herer .... Those will all grow well outdoors in southern NE ... Most will grow w minimal mold/pm and a few will grow w zero mold/pm

Out if the ones you listed ... The blue dream is the one I'd pay to chance ... The others are a coin flip ... I've run chems, OGs and diesels in CT with decent results <20% lost to mold per plant but those were in open field w direct sun to help dry them from 10am-7pm

Blue dream wont finish until almost the end of October. If you are limited the the attitude I would choose these strains. Frisian Dew (Dutch passion), Easy Sativa (Female Seeds), or Durban Poison (dutch passion). Unfortunately we are limited in our environments. I am doing to give Blue Widow by Dina fem a try this year.

Dinefem blue widow is the best choice i see there! a new addition to my outdoor line up this year.

I'm sticking with sweet seeds, mohan ram and s.a.d. s1. They were the best results by far last year out of my outdoor selection @42n.
Both finished end of sept. per my notes.

Im in the NE (nj) as well and you not only need something that is hardy & mold resistant, you need a fast finisher too. KC brains brain damage, hollands hope & durban poison were all on the top of my list. Still up in the air about it tho.

Mosca C99 BX1 is a good one for our climate for outdoor growing. I also have seen SSH do well in our climate too but it does depend on our season and what N.E. wants to gift us for weather. But def c99 BX1 will boom here in NE

Don't know why you say you can only order from Attitude. Put cash in a envalope with your order to RCMC, highsise seeds. If you don't know what will grow there and you will do 3 or 4 strains, think about doing at least 2 "safe" ones. Highrise gear will finish and has mold resistance for your area.

A blueberry mix with short flowering indica is a good guess for your area. I love OG indoor but it isn't good outdoor, and no mold resistance. I don't think Jack herrer will finish there.

Good luck and please come back and share your info after the season!

Kind of off topic but I'm going to dig holes and fill with better soil like sunshine #4 or roots organic. Some ladies might not be visited as often though. What kind of recipe can I create to ensure they retain enough water and nutes to thrive with less attention?

Also in the NE. Last year i grew out Raskals The White S1s, Cannabiogen Panama X DC, Fractal genetics C99xSD, Pink Bazooka IX and Medicine Man. The White had PM issues and the Med Man didnt finish in time. The rest did good and Panama X DC seemed to be mold/PM resistant.

I do grow in a greenhouse..

How do you keep your humidity levels down in the NE growing in a greenhouse?

I keep the doors and windows open whenever i can. Bud rot was an issue at the end of the season but it wasnt bad and that was because of the damn caterpillars. No direct rain gets into the buds so i really didnt have any humidity problems.

I can second GHS white rhino (or mr medicine man) being a great strain for the northeast. it gets very large and I had no issues with mold. the only strain that didnt get touched by mold actually. Will be growing it again this year for sure.
