Ask Torrey Smith who the refs favored. There are always mistakes and they even out over the course of a game. Boo Hoo. Making an asshole statement and ending it with "peace" doesn't undo the asshole part. At least grow a pair and own it.

internet tuff guy
no peace for you lol

Ez:thank you:

Ray Lewis is no more a murderer than you or I. Never had a knife, never stabbed anyone, how can he be a murderer?

CK and the Niners will definitely be back. Who knows, they seem to get a little farther every year, maybe next year they'll finish it off.
Really impressed with his throwing ability. He's like Favre with Michael Vick's running ability. Who would you rather have as QB of your team right now, Luck, RGIII, Wilson or CK? They're all gonna be great...

Also, has Wacko Flacco joined the ranks of 'elite' QB's this year? Won a Super Bowl, had a 11TD no INT postseason, about to get a $100 million dollar contract.
Actually drafted him as my backup QB in one of my fantasy leagues this year and was not happy with it; he had a hot start in the beginning but faded and finished the regular season with pedestrian #'s (22 tds, 10 ints). But the boy's money in the postseason. Changing playcallers helped too; got Jacoby Jones on the field more to have two speedsters to stretch the defense, ran the ball effectively with Pierce and Rice and the o-line played better with McKinnie at left tackle.
Does Flacco make a Matt Ryan-like leap and put up 'elite' #'s next year? 4K yards, 30+ tds? Are the Ravens now an offensive team with a so-so defense, which is the opposite of their identity the last decade plus?

because he lied to the police and courts about the murders. if he had not taken a plea deal, he would've been brought up as an accomplice to murder. he also provided a limo for himself and all the guilty to flee the scene in. believe you/me, if that were me or you in ray's position, we'd be in the clink for murder.

thats all i got to say about it.

congrats to the Ravens, they played a hell of a game. beyonce put on the lamest half time show ever. well maybe not ever, i think 95% of them sucked...

Replacing Cam Cameron appears to have been very significant. The biggest change was to the line. Flacco is getting more protection. Success and the accompanying confidence that brings have followed. If he sucks again at the beginning of the season it will be because of a bad attitude. I'd like to see him get a single year contract to see.

Ray-ray paid a hella lotta money for somebody that's innocent.

Yeah, sometimes innocent men pay too, but hey,,, you or me - we'd never see day light.

I dunno, but I suspect he'll be dead inside of 5 years.

I thought the same for Vick, too but he may be unemployed again soon.

Wanna-B thugs with legit money. And lawyers - and supprisingly,, not enough sense to use the latter.

Ray-ray reminds me of TV evanglists -thump'n on the bible in front of the camera but nothing like that behind the camera.

Lota kids wana b like Ray-ray.

I'm going to say I don't know enough about the situation to be certain. I remember the core events as they happened - arrest, not locked up, but didn't pay a lot of attention. I remember that before the incident word was he was being called in by the NFL so they could express their unhappiness with the company he was keeping.

I absolutely wasn't satisfied by the answers he gave Shannon Sharpe in the interview aired before the game. Any larger sense of what happened is obscurred byt local media's attention to his charitable acts. Could be sincere, could be the result of a guilty conscience or could be a cold plan to rehabilitate his image for marketing reasons. He does speak like someone driven crazy by guilt. They are the Ravens after all : Nevermore ...

Of course he's a murderer. The mink coat he was wearing that night was "disappeared" because of the blood on it. And even if it wasn't him that stuck one of the knives into the two victims, he is still an accessory after the fact for covering up the crime. He is a dirty low life, not the black Tebow. Our prisons are full of people that praise Jesus.

I'm still going to say I don't know. I'd still find him unbearably annoying even if the murder thing hadn't come up. Regardless of my position, yours seems to be the overwhelming majority view. That alone should point to him not being suitable as a TV analyst.

I thought that the refs did the right thing not making that call IMO...at the very least they were being consistent to how the ref'd the whole game, they didn't throw flags at all and let them play, they way the superbowl should be....also I can't consider a team getting robbed of a win when they never had the lead to begin with, just my 2 cents......I would have been more pissed about that 3rd and goal play when Crabtree dropped that ball from that hit from CB jimmy smiths, looked like that was helmet to helmet to me, I was surprised jim or phil didn't mention it.

I think it would be very easy to start a rumor that Jim Harbaugh was behind the power outage. Perfect timing. So yeah, that's what I heard - Jim Harbaugh hired a disgruntled electrical engineer from a former Soviet bloc to generate a targeted electromagnetic pulse to reset the lights.

Remember where you heard it first!

Current Rumor has it the blackout was caused by hackers (chinese/ n. koreans depending on the conspiracy) playing cyber-war with the US Grid... either that or the Superdome is a dilapidated shithole...

my money is on the shithole... but then again I had my money on the 9ers last nite so...

If the Ravens had lost and 9ers pulled it out, how would all of you had reacted to Ravens fans that were angry about when T. Smith was interfered with, but it wasn't called, and we didn't get the TD? Or the overall whining some fans would have given about the blackout giving the Niners the lifeline they desperately needed?

My guess, most of you would have dismissed the shoulda's and celebrated your victory. And you'd all be correct in doing so....

I understand those feelings....I had em last year against the Pats and the year before when we got knocked out of the playoffs.

The niners are gonna be a heck of a team for some time. Your time will come. But claiming that the refs took the game from the better team? No disrespect folks, but just like you woulda said if the Niners won and I brought up the no-call on Smith and the gift black out that the niners needed so badly....

and I mean no disrespect.....just saying there's often those arguments either/both ways....

Hey lets not forget the last play of the 9ers falcons game 2 weeks ago, that game ended on a questionable pass interference call in favor of the 9ers....didn't hear anyone then say anything(except the faclons). Navaro Bowman even told Roddy White he thought that was gonna be a PI call.

Super Bowl is over. now i can focus all my vicarious fantasies on chip kelly getting the eagles back above .500 so they can perennially disappoint in the divisional round of the playoffs.

...

now if they can just get themselves a QB.
and an O-line.
and a defensive coordinator.
and some special teams.
and some corners that ain't a bunch of pansies...

PHL goes 7-9 in 2013.

Sorry but we here in Baltimore have already gotten to the bottom of the cause of the power outage....

Buy anything at Gardiners?

:D

* Local furniture company ran a promotion where anything purchased starting a few days ago, ending at 3:00 yesterday was free if the Ravens returned the kickoff they received as a result of the coin toss for a touchdown.

Nice sportsmanship. You didn't notice any bad calls going against the Ravens? Of course not.

Kaepernick has some great skills but completely sucked for the first half - about what you'd expect for a 10th NFL start. You can't roll over for a full half and expect to win. It took an unscheduled rest break to give them a chance. Kaepernick is impressive but RG3 is a good indicator of why that style of play - putting all your eggs in one basket to compensate for weakness everywhere else - isn't sustainable.

You and brother Jim are making it look like SF fans are crybabies. Puts him and Belichick in the same category in my mind. Terrible example for kids.

I gotta disagree with this one.........I'm a Steeler fan who picked the Ravens to win in the canna venture s.b. contest....It was a pretty blatant hold and 2 ref's were right there....If it were me or anyone else with a competitive spirit I or they would also be pissed beyond belief....I salute the Ravens thyey did just enough and recieved just enough help at the right time to be the champs,And Jim did it fair and square and would have been gracious if they had been beaten not robbed.Bellicheat is not concerned with being fair or having integrity,or being gracious...he's just a shit person plain and simple one would be hard pressed to say that either jon or jim were not good people and good coaches.......
