Heya!

Here is a overview from 22 Jan..
picture.php

Is this some kind of nute-burn, or just a damaged leaf? I really cant tell.. :/
The growth looked good 2 days later (today). No strange leafs or anything...
picture.php

And the cuts are throwing out roots like mad! Im glad to see that they are doing well :D

Sorry, I had some "technical problems" and had to remake this post, 2 times (?) :drum:

And a blurry closeup.. Still seems quite tasty, eh? :D

Why does both posts change when I edit edit only one? -.-

Here once again..

Aye. I stopped picking leafs now.. its still sprouting small stem-leafs out from the buds, but ill let em go as long as they not shade any other spot.
Ill still keep up some leafpicking in the lower parts of the screen, and possible on the budsites in the back where I left the leafs.
we'll see. I am trying out so many things so fast right... and sometimes I confuse myself. -"Why did I decide that I should do that, now again..."

Another view of the screen.

And 2 closeups!
Hope you'll enjoy!

Edit; Ah, yeah! All the WWxTU has shown roots in the cups, but still nothing from Euforia.
Well, she has rooted for sure, she is really stiff in the earth. I hope to transplant them in a week..

30 Jan. Day 50 from 12/12

30 Jan. Day 50 from 12/12

Ooookay.. Lets see.. I recon they are going slow and I blaim the lack of heat during late veg/early flower for that.
Really not much to do about it, more then understand that I have to look better for suitable heating units!
Finally I found one that was 500w! just timered it to go on 15 mins after light off, and stop when the light goes on.

Im happy with the quite overfilled screen, but I have no idea what yield to expect. Kind of sux, but I hope I manage to get over 400g (0,66g/w)

Im a little bit confused about the cloning-thingy.
I managed to get all the earth-planted stems to root, and all the WWxTU are exploding in there!
The euforia has a few that shown root on the sidewalls.

Here is the most rooted WWxTU
picture.php

All the cuts;
picture.php

And here is the overview!
picture.php

Im about to order some more equips to the rebuild to a 2 rooms, 1x600w vert scrog in each! Right now im up at 900 USD :1help:, but that include another 600w, waterpump, airpump, airstones, hoses, nutrition, a green led, 100 liter coco and 50liter perlite.. I just realise I cant remember half of what I ordered!
Ah, there was a "Hanna combo ph/ec" in there, some pH-, calibration-fluids, err.. I guess I have to update when I get that order going! (dont have the list on this cpu...)

Stay safe!

Sweet grow for a beginner! I'm learning to SCrog myself and really enjoy your detailed write ups! My only concern is the cuttings you put in clear plastic cups. Try something dark colored like black....

Heya! Thanks for stopping by!
Aye, Ive been thinking about the transparant plastic cups but figured they are all coneshaped and the roots will not get THAT much light when they are stacked together and the containers are coned... Besides its just a 200w cfl, and they will be transplanted in a few days.
I think I would ductape the cups if I was using anything bigger then 250w HID.

Sorry for typo;s. Using the phone..

130204 Day 55, 12/12

Hey there! Now its exciting times. The budswelling is ON!
But lets start in the other end..

I took some cuts on 9 Jan, thats 25 days ago...
The thing is.. Ive read somewhere that perlite should be really really good for starting off clones.
All the cuts thats been transplanted into the soil has rooted really good and are now beginning to grow. But the 2 cuts I left in the perlite haven't even tried to show a root. and thats 25 days ago! What the heck is up with that? I have a theory about that its to wet for them to force roots...!?
I recognize thesame thing when I put some AF-branches in a glass of water last summer.. They survived for forever, but they never got a root, nor develop anything. Whats up with that?! I thought it was because it was AF-clones, lol.
However.. I read a post from DHF (That guy.. Gosh.. he's a library of information..!!) that anything will root, in any medium if the temps are about 26C (80F) and with 80% RH. This shit given, I figure they just liked my soil WAY better then the perlite.
Well, any input in the matter would be greatly appreatiated!

I just learned something.. Rooting clones and grow them takes way more time then I expected. I was thinking that 6 weeks would do for root and veg and then let them into the new vertical barebulb-setup but I will probably have to push it forth a week or two before 12/12 (atleast!)

Well, here is the clones today!
I just gave them their first fert feeding with about ½ dose of basic veg-fert.
picture.php

Next up is the table!
Im enjoying this swelling. Its really nice to only see them every3 days and acctually notice a hugh difference every time.

picture.php

picture.php

And last but not least!
2 budshots for whomever might like that kind of pr0n. :)

picture.php

picture.php

When looking at these pics and concider the fact that its 55 days since 12/12 im quite surprised.. I was sure they would need even more time.

Hey Darlin......Sorry I missed this thread........You could`ve sent me a link in the PM........ anyways......

Arr, Heya DHF! Welcome to my Scrogging!
Are you stalking me, or how did you fall into this thread? ;)

I guess youll see more of me when I move to the Vert-forums in a few weeks..

Acctually this is my first grow scrogging.. before this I had 5 AF AK47 under thesame light while waiting for these ladies to veg... and before that I tried a failed outdoor-grow.
We live and we learn...

Thou, truth be told; I read alot of stuff, and on top of that i try to add some common sense. Voila, it seems to work!

But... that defo is all your favor..
This is what set it all in motion; https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=252669 :tiphat:
I left some lower leafs as debuff in the scrog since I have NOTHING dialed in... Really NOTHING..
The room... makes any normal ghetto seems like a pro-grow.
I have mold problem on the walls, the lower temps is like 46-47F before I added the small heating-unit(now im at 60F nighttime), im using really basic orchiid-ferts, and I just bought some "greenhouse seeds powder feeding" similar to Maxibloom. I just ordered a ph/ec-measure-thingy.. Well, you see I have some issues going on :)

I belive Im lucky with some good water at least.. Probably has all micros I need. Its from a small natural well nearby, and it contains some humus for sure.

My base-thought to make this all work could be stuffed down to a single line;
Read... think... read more/again... think again.
If thinking #2 is thesame as #1 youll probably have it figured out..

Thanks for popping by! Hope to see you around!

7 feb Day 57 12/12

Heya!

I got the stuff I ordered today... Gonna be friggin' nice to get 2 rooms, 600w vert scrog going! Going in coco/perlite with drip-tubes and recirculating system.

In my order;
Hanna combo ph/ec-meter, another 600w kit incl hps, ballast n' all that shit, some waterpumps, coco coir, perlite, tubes, tube-connections, a green led headlamp, some more nutritions (greenhouse powerfeeding mostly sativa, I belive it will be a good thing to mix in at early flower to allow them to get enough N for stretch and not cut it all out at 12/12switch.)
A airpump, some airstones... well.. I got everything but my panda-film. They forgot to pack it, but its on the way!

There is not much to report from the Scrog... Its a lil slow but I figure it wont do any harm since my clones are still way behind schedual.

Ill let the pics do the talking!

One of the buds I left some leafs on... One of those in the far back.

Hope this last 2 pics hasn't been scaled down as much as the others..
Enjoy some budpr0n!

Aye, and im sorry for the quality of the pics. My cellphone wont do any better with that HPS in there.

Heya!

There is some problems in the growbox now;

I noticed the nighttemps drop to about 12C (54F) again. The heating-unit malfunctioned (again) and had to be replaced.. Really shitty! Its the second one that breaks down on me of thesame model.. I like the design. Its a 550w car-cupé-heater, so its small and has a fan to get that heat moving.
If I wanna go for a better one I'll get up to about 800w, and I believe thats to much. I'm afraid I'll dry out the buckets..

And my ceiling-mounted fan broke down.. Its still working, but the mechanics that moved it from side to side broke down. Some piece of plastic that felt it was done.. I guess thats okay for a 9 year old table-fan...
New ones, and extras, comming up tomorrow!

Edit; Aye, and the buds on the outer perimeters of the scrog is.. err.. just pityful!
I believe they coulda used way harder pruning/lollipopping throu the whole grow.
Im thinking about cutting down the topbuds, and leave the lower airy popcorn another few days/a week. Havent descided what to do yet. Ideas!?

The trichs getting about 50% cloudy, so I'll wait until sunday and check em out again. Then I guess I remove the rest of the fanleafs and start flushing them for 7-10 days.

As a sidenote I can gladly report that my upcommin project with 2 vert-scrogs is on the moooove.
The cuttlings has been transplanted into about 8 liters of coco, and seem to do quite fine under 200w cfl 20/4!

I guess I shold save this for the next thread in the vert, but I cant hold back to share these 2 pictures..

(Is it just my eyes.. or is the blurriness of the pic improved ALOT when you click the "this image has been resized...." line on top of the pic?!? )
picture.php

Yes, I know there is a bucket with 2 cuts.. I want to try it as a experiment, since it seems like 5-6 liter coco/perlite/1 plant is enough for this kind of action. ...and on top of that I can't fit in another bucket in the veg-box. Im just so happy that there happen to fit in 11 buckets in that room... :D

btw, when I transplanted them I flushed away most of the soil from the roots in plain water. It will be really interesting to see if they got stunted from it, or if they adept to the new medium at once.

Here is a valentine's day greeting from me! <giggle>

Until we meet again; Stay safe!

Bro, You did this grow in relative obscurity, and I was happy to see people start popping in...

I appreciate your level of activity. This is something that amateur mycology taught me,
that the only way to fight all the waiting that one has to do is to have many different irons
in the fire at the same time.

The SCROG really did fill in over time.

I am happy to see some nice buds coming out of this for you.

Enjoy!

Hey!

First off; Thanks Avin~, and JD for popping in here! All attention is nice I recon..

Well, soo.. Whats new?!
Aye! Ive gave the ladies their last nutes today.
Next time I visit them Ill flush them throu and start give em water only.
I also started to remove the remaining leafs. just got 1/6 or so of the remaining.. Ill go a little harder on them next time, and the time after that Ill remove allt he remaining stuff if nothing strange appears.

I tell you.. The Euforia looks quite... rediculous compared to the heavy WWxTU-buds.

Here is some overview pics.. More shots will come up later!

Well, Im here again to show you some budshots!
First of is some pics of the Euforia.

She is not what I expected when it comes to budsize. I guess I didnt take proper care of her needs.
I think she needs to be lollipopped and pruned alot more.
However, I hope that she will fill in all my hopes bout' the euforic high ive been looking for when selecting her!
The trichs are about 90% cloudy, 2-3% amber, so she is ready for the flush for sure!
These pics dont do her justice.. but I wanted to show some small airy buds.
Whats the point of making a thread if you only wanna showoff? (;
Then I might as well tell all my mates about it and get cred closeby, eh?
Well, here goes nothing!

Next up is the Princess. For newcomers (or just stoned ppl that forgot about her) shes a White Widow x The Ultimate-cross thats in approx 1.1 liter soil/perlite/claypebble-mix.

When I look at her, and the other small cuts I figure she would do well in a SoG, and -******- knows I would like to do a 1x1m tray and fill it with 36 15cm(6") rockwool and try a ebb n' flow with her..
Well, thats not gonna happen for a long time anyway.. I still have 6 regular seeds, so the plan in not abandomed, just on ice..

Still nailed on the wall!

picture.php

And a closeup of the left bud..

More to come, I still have the budpr0n of the WWxTU to share with you... but gotta run now.
Enjoy!

Thanks Greenadian! Im glad to hear you like it!

Last input for today;

Here is some pics of the White Widow x The Ultimate.

There is some buds in there that is humongous!
But I decided to pick some of the mid-range buds to show.. (you have one of the biggest one in prev posts)
Trichs are about 75-85% cloudy and a few singles are amber. Its less then 1% id say...
The smaller buds seem to have less % of cloudy trichs. (??)
The whole grow will end up with a flush/water only from when I go see them next time, and then I'll give them water for about a week before harvest.

The smell of these ladies are really intense, limeish~ with hints of earth and a undertone of pinetree. I really like it! :)

First out is two budshots...
To decrease the "blurriness" of the pics, I strongly recommend that you klick the top of the pic to see it in the supposed format (pics about 200-500kb each)

picture.php

picture.php

Here is a budpic taken with the flash ON.
Those crystals look quite tempting... errrrr!

picture.php

And... not that it matters to the grow, but I would like to know to be able to fight it next time I see it..; What do you think this def is?
picture.php

I would guess Potassium-def, or possible over-fert (wich would be awkward, if not my growmate fucked up some feeding...)
What does the experts say?

Have a nice evening, and be sure to tune in again for some harvest-shots!
Stay safe!

Enjoyed reading through this thread mate, you're doing good things. Just wondered what extraction and inlet you're running, with a decent powered light I'm just wondering why the temps are that low? (I noticed you said air change is not perfect). As for the clones in clear cups, great way to see root progress, so double them up with a black external vessel, then you get the best of both worlds.

I'm a newbie myself but just want to offer my 2 penneth worth.
Thanks for an interesting read :)

Also I suffered the yellow tips much like in your pic and it was from over feeding. I flushed the worst ones and started over and bingo theyve picked right up!
