Chicken livers weren't supposed serve as a substitute. I had access to beautiful organic chicken livers from just down the road. Cheap, had to use em. And wanted something a Lil more refined than county pate.

Chicken livers and fatty duck livers...two different beasts.

Indeed, but both absolutely delicious. I am a lover of organ meats. Give me the sweetbreads, damn it! Hot, cold, on a paper plate, I don't care. Just don't overcook 'em, please.

That sounds like a win...my kid accidentally discovered ice cream, this will most definitely satisfy her and do some good at the same time. Thanks.

Oh! Wanna try something else unexpected, but just incredibly delicious? Avocado-banana guacamole.

This amount won't last long, last time I made it I ate the whole thing myself, with some Chippins.

1 ripe avocado
1 ripe to semi-ripe banana (needs to be mashable, but too ripe may be a bit mealy, but try it if you want!)
Squirt of lemon juice, to taste + to add antioxidants and prevent browning.

Scoop avocado from skin into a bowl. Peel banana and break up into the same bowl. Squirt some lemon on top. Mash. EAT IT TO YOUR HEAD!!

I learned about this during 5th grade Show & Tell. One of my classmates was half-Brazilian and that day's S&T was on foods, so she came with her mom to share a popular Brazilian dish, as I remember it. I could not believe how good it was! They served it with plantain chips. It's like dessert, and I'm sure it'll make your hair shiny.

I just had a horrible idea. It's a meeting between a Monte Cristo, French Toast, and foie gras. Whaddaya think? I'll have to go out of state now to get my foie gras on, and while I love chicken livers, they're a poor substitute, even the Label Rouge.

This sounds like a master piece of a dish..... Please post results, if you try to make this combination. MY god man!!!!

I Love pizza, but it has to be made well. a homemade crust, great ingredients and be hot from the oven


but I was around a friend's house not long ago, all he had was crappy frozen pizzas, I just had to jump up and say, "Hang on, let me see if I can improve it" and I added good quality cheese, fine sliced pepperoni, crushed/sliced garlic, chilli, onions, red peppers and some broccoli, you can add whatever you have in the pantry or fridge, I also added extra pepper and a splash of olive oil, cooked at medium to high heat in an already hot oven .....and it tasted 5 times better
