My speakers on my comp aren't working, so I finally got to see the Overkill vid, then I had to check out the rest of the album.

Awesome to see they are keeping real thrash alive.

That album, Electric Age, kills!! :headbange

They tore it up! Nothing like seeing a powerful metal band in a small venue. I actually think testament has gotten better over the years...harder....more precise...and their riffs are amazing.

Just got tickets for a few shows..Opeth...Danzig with corrosion of conformity...DRI...Cannibal Corpse with Napalm Death... Hopefully Mayhem fest will have a good lineup.

Ahh Sepultura!! I'll never forget the first time I heard roots. I immediately went and bought the cd. Then on to Soulfly, but I think Sepultura was better. MTV ran MetalHead at 3am every saturday which was awesome! not anymore...

Early Sepultura, destroys anything Soulfly did, if you liked Roots, I sure hope you went and got their first few albums.

By Roots, their sound had changed. They had steered away from their death/thrash beginnings. Which is what made them great. Roots was the last Sepultura album I bought.

If you don't have it, go get Beneath the Remains, a must have album, for any metal head, IMO.
