1 Pound per plant under 1000W HPS?

I ask because the most efficient method to grow trees is with bare vertical lighting. A bulb in each corner and one in the middle with 4 plants arrainged like a diamond around the center bulb. Unless your room is very narrow, growing 2 plants will waste light.

why a bulb in each corner?

john, you do realize this thread is over 3 years old right? he just explained it, arranged plants in a diamond pattern and put bulbs on the outside of the diaomd so the plants have lighting 360degrees

Reckon you'd waste a fair bit of light that way (I know it wasn't you who said it originally). Best to have the plants surrounding the bulbs rather than bulbs surrounding plants.

I can put all this to rest! Simple with the proper veg time 1n a half month in a twenty gallon smart pot will yield a pound per plant inside under proper lighting. Gavita baby my old set up is 28 -20 gallon smart pot under 15 - 1000 hps gavita a bit over kill since they do actually cover a 4*4 canopy! So yes it can be done and not with any super strain I'm talking rascal og , GDP name it I've prolly seen it happen! Happy gardening

It depends on genetics, as peeps have said. My bro has pulled almost 2 using a 600w. Well, almost 2 per plant, using 600Ws. blue dream, using 30g smarties with coco and house and garden.
I gave him a blueberry headband, and hes making them huge
As a test, he has a plant not under a light, but between 2 that are each under a 600w. each other plant has its own light...his test plant may yield half as much

I use organics, and his yields have me rethinking this. I will try a run with everything else in place, co2, ac, etc...his shit is dialed in...if i get mine that dialed , i can only hope

sorry, your orig question, with the right genetics, and at least a little training, hell yes(big pots).

here she is now, with a few weeks to go still, pic just does not do her justice.

I used to run 32 plants in 10L hempys under 2x1kw, used to easily pull 2lb+ per light...I would hang my head in shame if I was only getting 1lb per light
