Any one know about this strain? All i know is its from Cali... its the real deal... When dried smells of a bag of Lemons. When smoked is very lemony with a kush exhale.

Its grape ape x ssh by apothocary genetics. I have grape ape and it looks very similar in nug structure to that, should be some super dank and tasty smoke I imagine.

Good friend of mine that I got it from said this was the cut only.. He lived in cali and its all he grew. Its some of the best lemony stuff Ive ever had. What would make it OG? And what would be so special if it was the original cut and not seeds?

This guy talks it up like its the kill. Little rock hard nugs. low yielding but has s great bag apeal. It looks and smells amazing 2 hits and I'm done. But I do agree its nothing like some of the new stuff. I still love bog stuff and want to blast some of that out. I also supposedly picked up a couple cuts of gsc. Who knows tho. I did purchase the bcbd s1 seeds. I'm hoping I can just pick 1 and kill it.

Whose labeling it an og? Its grape ape x ssh. Some might consider grape ape a little kushy I guess.

My guy swears its an OG something. Idk. Don't really care to much. Excellent strain. Definitely has some og in it.

Could be, I didnt notice the OG in the thread title (thanks GDK). I can tell you I ran another strain from apothocary which was Kaia Kush which is og x ssh and had a very nice lemon flavor to it with extreme potency.

Jackmayoffer has a cut called Silverback that is a S1 from some herb called Masters Mistress, or the other way around. If memory serves me correctly it was a Legend OG cross. I could be wrong but I'm sure he has documented his Silverback on here or elsewhere on the interwebs.

I remember him saying it was some super kill......fwiw.......

Silverback in SF, as for what I've seen, is Grape Ape or Grape Ape x Something that's more commercially acceptable.

Like a watered down, unacceptable version of Grape Ape in real deal format.

Now, IF what he has is Silverback x Some Dank OG, it could very well be just what your boy says.

Haha, well the old stoner brain is almost correct. That is one nice looking cut you got there, nice score!

Much Respect Jack for letting her out to the community.

not to be a dick, but isn't that EVERY single "Kush" out there?

Maybe not dickish, and please, do understand, I'm not trying to be a dick, either....

"EVERY single 'Kush' out there?"

No, it's not.

Please, look at those pictures a little more closely.

Trichomes are incredibly noticeable, from a distance.

I can see why it was given the name it was, or, rather, a potentially viable reason why, the dried nug shimmers with a silvery effervescence. It's also a beautiful OG. Shimmering Silvery OG. Silver Back OG.

I hate when people call their strain, XXXXX XXXX OG, and it's really that 1/16th of it's genes are actual og, no detectable or discernible OG attributes...

This IS NOT one of those cases, this certainly does not look like a run of the mill OG.

Man, pot is getting to be really incredible people.

In my pot-smoking-lifetime, I've personally witnessed many a beautiful development.
