I am really interested to see if the Ice Cream makes viable seeds as I have not seen 1 cross anywhere and I really like it. If it does I will deffo be goin on a hunt through them and makin f2's at some point god willing. Although I have high hopes for the KQR x Blue. Both are high trich strains, I have seen mixed reports on the blue 2.2 potency, maybe the KQR will boost that up, who knows whats gonna be in there! My KQR kind of looks cindy leaning, I can already tell these blues are gonna get colorful, the leaves are so much darker then the others. I will also be digging through the KQR F2's if all goes well!

Another benefit I will have some smoke to work on while my clones I took flower out next run, I think I should yield good then. I really want to veg out these cuts a lot more for next time. These didnt even go a month, the IC were still in re veg when I flipped em. lol. Startin to get sexy in there!

It was kind of a hack job but I think I pulled it off. Hopefully not so good that I get them 500 seed nugs. lol Time will tell...

Oh yeah nothing but water so far. Not a hint of anything being other than perfect, if i veg longer I should have some massive colas next time.

Another interesting note will be to see how the clones come around. They were slightly flowered, I wonder if they will reveg or pop right back. Either way Im happy as fuck so far!

Nice grow Tony. How long to veg can be perplexing sometimes. I have screwed it up both ways before and most likely will again. No matter though, you have some very healthy looking ladies there and many beans to pop! Really liking the water only job you've done.

Thanks alot man! I have been reading and learning shitloads, I think I am reading up on horticulture stuff for at least 2-3 hours daily now. Glad to see it is showing a bit! This second run has been much smoother, still some wrinkles to iron out environment wise but I a much better handle on things this time. Rolling along now!

I kind of knew I needed to veg longer, the issue was I am still piss poor at determining sex by pre flowers, I need to see a pistil or ball to be sure atm. Getting a good idea what to look for now though.

BUSTED HER CHERRY GOOD

BUSTED HER CHERRY GOOD

Well guys here is the lady IC close-up. She was in the grow space in the middle of the boys. I was dumping tiny loads of pollen that fell on my tinfoil collectors and shaking the boys all over her once in awhile, with one strong shake at the chopping the fellas You can see clearly the colored and shriveling pistils. I guess time will tell if we got the babies!

Excited to see how this turns out! or maybe it's how the story begins...

I can deffo see any pollinated calyx now. The Blue Satellite 2.2 have turned out to be very indica leaning. Most of the phenos I have seen in journals are way more sativa leaning. Blue 2 looks like it is going to finish well before Blue 1 and both look to be developing well. And I didnt take any clones from her, she does have a bunch of underbrush going that I may snag a cut from to make a new mom, while I still can. One of the calyxes has been seeded though. :dance013:

The KQR buds that are not pollinated are still developing calyxs and hairs at an astounding rate. She will do well with a longer veg.

Do you guys think pollinating one branch and not the rest can possibly speed up the maturation of the entire plant? Maybe that has some thing to do with it.

Ill update with some new pics near the end of the week as we near day 40.

I went with straight light warrior, they were in 6 inch square pots, re potted them right into the mix from there, they were on 2nd or 3rd node when I replanted into the soil mix in my sig.

I topped them very young as is my usual style, 4 main tops roughly 6-7 inches tall when I repotted, when you top young like that it promotes early lateral growth and seems to keep em from getting tall and gangly. Probably strain dependant to an extent.

Clones go right into the mix with no worries or signs of stress.

The Blue looks like it is gonna finish faster than the KQR. Looks like a straight indica pheno to me!
