Goddamn Broncos! Stuck with a post season bed-wetter at quarterback!

R.Fortune

quarterback?

QUARTERBACK???

The last game I saw, Bronco's had bed wetters in coaching, offense and defense. (Special teams had a few uplifting moments and plays)

Then after the game the bed-wetters came down from the head office and cried with all the other bed-wetters, in what I can only call a bed-wetters united moment.

That's the game I saw.

I saw a Ravens team that had not quit and didn't know the word. - They didn't play well even, But they played well enough.

How many years have we had a team sitting on the sidelines befor the big game, saying "I coulda been a contender."

I knew we were in trouble when we first heard the phrase "United in Orange" on the media. And I was afraid we were we were bound for laughing stock status when it appeared on local billboards.

Yup.

On the bright side I didn't get a Bronco tattoo, and motorcycle season is coming.

ohhh, and Congrats to Ravens and 49'er fans! I could be a really good game!
Unfortunatly we get to endure 2 weeks of marketing barrage and obscure facts. And some goofy guy at the grocery store asking "49er's or Ravens" to everybody that walked by.

He said it was evenly split 4 ways
Ravens
49'ers
Broncos
Dont care.

I had to ask myself later, why I cared enough to ask. Then I remembered I might be a little buzzed.

Ya-all be careful out there!

doesn't really seem like the media has blown up the bro vs bro matchup like they did last thanksgiving...

Ottoman-I'm still an alex smith fan, although kaep has been running wild and doin his damn thing i still feel like we would have been in the same position...last time I checked alex out gunned rodgers and brees too...but he also was able to beat the rams twice last season...although with akers kicking like he has things would have been much more stressful....atlanta couldn't put anything together in the 2nd half....and it's a damn good thing because they were walking all over us in the 1st half.

You got a problem with the color orange, Rocky? Or was it the overall lameness of that motto. Should they have had instead "lets horsekick the shit out of them" with the image of a stallion rearkicking the head off of a football player, helmet and all? Which would have been awesome, btw, but not family friendly.
I dont know, Broncos losing as a 1 seed, NE not finishing the job the last few years, just seems to illustrate the fact that it's hard to win in the NFL, there's more parity in the league. Lately, a 9-7 team seems to have just as much chance as a 13-3 team in the playoffs.
You need some good fortune, but also need to up the risk taking in the playoffs, get more aggressive to try and make good things happen, instead of waiting for it to happen. Fox and Belichick need to get and stay more aggressive in their playcalling during the playoffs.

fox needs to be fired for taking a knee with 31 seconds and 2 timeouts, worst coaching move ive seen in long time ! fail broncos ravens 30 , 49s 28 ravens by 2 i call it

naaaa Baba, orange sunsets are spectacular.

My favorite team, the Denver Donkeys dropped another one. they join 30 other teams on vacation.

When the media tries to campaign for sports teams,, it's ALWAYS a bad sign.

The teams spend so much time watching TV, they get hypnotized and sleep thru the game.

Maybe that slogan was started by the Ravens!

YEAH, THAT'S IT! IT WAS A CONSPIRACY BY THE RAVENS.

THEM DIRTY BIRDS!

About coach Fox,,,, Like I said,, Offence, defence AND COACHING, slept thru the game. They believed they would cover the spread.

Till the final gun woke them up.
By then it was over.

I'm thinking orange toilet paper would sell well like hotcakes.

Deez, I agree they haven't yet...but those headlines of the brothers won't talk at all the next 2 weeks but they will text, and their parents aren't sure if they're gonna go to N.O. or sit at home in Wisconsin.....its brewing...I am sorry but who cares if their parents go to the game or not.

Also, yeah Atlanta is a team that can't finish you saw that against Seattle, which in my mine would have been a terrible match-up for the 9ers if they had to play them instead. Atlanta needs a new head coach, I am sorry but two playoff weeks in a row you blow huge leads, then you stupidly let your injured QB go back and throw the ball at the end of the game, he is just an awful coach. I personally don't think Akers will have much to do with the impact of the game, Jim knows its an off year for him and won't put him in any situations to fail. Also if Alex Smith was that good that Jim thought he could consistently out gun guys like Brees and Rodgers he would have started him again. IMO though Brees and Rodgers don't have D's to back them up so I hate to compare Qb's like that when they play each other, honestly how would Alex smith do against his own D if he had to face them? And lets be honest names like Alex smith and guys like Brees and Rodgers shouldn't even been in the same sentence when comparing QB's cause they aren't even close.

baba and rocky, I am sorry I have always defended the guy but he has over time just proven it....Peyton Manning is the greatest all time regular season QB ever but come playoff time he is nothing but an average QB, where as his brother Eli is the complete opposite, so weird. I think Fox is a good coach and well his just needs to worry about the D, we all know Peyton has all the say in that O....

Baba, your dead on, if you 9-7 and make the playoffs and are healthy and chemistry is on your side, you have just as much as chance to win it as the 1 seeds....the Giants have proven that twice in the last few years.

I'm excited now because my team is going to the big game but I am much less a fan than I used to be. I watched most of the Raven's games this year and only a few others.

My feeling is that there is now too much money, too much chemistry, physics and math in the game. Years ago I'd watch a game and never doubt that each team was doing everything they could to win. You got to see the strategies of a few minds expressed through the athletes.

Now it seems as if they are doing as much as they calculate it will take to get to and through the playoffs. Still need to put on a decent show, but the bigger goal is conserving resources. There are now games that "don't matter". I see the logic and it's probably inevitable but I don't like it.

All that said: Go Ravens :D

there is no way seattle would have came into the stick and beat us....especially after the week 15? embarrassment...and a brutal nfc championship loss @ home last season. we were superbowl bound vs atl or sea...I wasn't really doing much comparison other than 11 to 7...alex won in seattle last season, beat the rams twice, beat breese, beat rodgers (statistically and got the W)....you were just asking what happened to all of the alex smith fans so i just raised my hand...I didn't go anywhere! and without taking anything away from kaep's accomplishments I can honestly say that we'd be right here with 7 or 11

I respectfully disagree, Alex Smith can't play from behind its not his style, we all know that...he needs to be close and manage the game, he doesn't throw it down field and his legs aren't that much of a threat. We'll never know but its just my opinion that down 17-0 in atlanta with Alex Smith starting, you never come back to win...Kaep is SO much better than Smith its not even funny. That being said how can you say Seattle wasn't a bad match up? you beat them by 7 at home 1st game of the season then got pounded by them AT seattle with Kaep, on top of that Russell Wilson was playing much better at the end of the year compared to the beginning, not saying they would have won just saying their D is a lot better than Atlanta and a lot of people thought SF was gonna dominate that game. I personally think seattle was much worse match up for Sf then Atl was.

I agee as much as I wanted them to come back to the stick for last game against seatlle so I could go. I was much happier with them playing atlanta. Seattle would have been a tough game.

They fine that prick 10k for a kick and turn around and fine frank gore 10, 500k for his socks sagging a little. Thats b.s. shouldnt even be close and frank to pay more for socks come on now. Brady shoukd have been hit with 25k. Im not against the fine against frank because they do have dress code and rules but somethings not right.

suh was suspended without pay after the thanksgiving kick last season + had to pay fines...brady is the nfl's posterchild they won't be too harsh on him ever.

I agree seattle would have been a tougher match(but it also would have been a completely different type of gameplan), seattle only stomped us in seattle because the 12th man really shook kaep. but to be the best you gotta beat the best...and I still think ATL didn't deserve to be the #1 seed with the "easy" schedule that they had...I'd have liked to seen a brutal physical run through the tackles hard hitting battle in the trenches like it would have been if seattle came to the stick...the easy way isn't as satisfying personally

fwiw gb @ sf should have been played at lambeau...pack got robbed by seattle

from what i remember, brady slid and put his leg up, which was lame of course.. but it didn't look like a "kick" to me in real time video.

I think he put his leg up because he was scared.. he lucky he didn't get injured.

I think that Brady was just trying to protect himself from a cheap hit, which he didn't get anyways but Tom's not dumb he rather take a 15 yard penalty then get hurt at this point of his career.

ya right

ya right

Brady meant to kick him
If you look at a closeup you can see him looking right at his target
And he pays less than short socks
What a crock

I highly doubt Tom Brady tried to kick Ed Reed in a manner other than self defense as he was running and trying to slide. His kick is not vicious whatsoever, unlike suh's that could have actually hurt someone. I really think he was just trying to protect himself from a possible cheap heat. If Brady did mean to kick him I would hope he could kick a little harder than that.

I love to shit talk Brady cause I hate him and sieze any opertunity to do so,but in real time he was not trying to kick anyone he just slides like a little girl all clumsy and awkward......I have no doubt he thought about it cause he's a sore loser but he's just not talented enough to do so.....
